Just one mistake

Tate's POV

"Babe your going to have to move." I said quietly and messed with his hair.
"I don't want to." He mumbled.
"I have to go to college and I'm not allowed to be late." I said.
Alex sighed and rolled away from me so his back was to me.
I rolled over and cuddled into his back.
"Love you." I said quietly and kissed between his shoulder blades.
"Love you too." Alex muttered and he was fast asleep again.
I smiled and quietly got out of bed and had a shower and got dressed.
I sat on the bed and Alex was on my side of the bed.
"You going to school?" I asked.
Alex shook his head.
"But don't phone or text Jack. I just want some time to myself." He said.
"Am I really that bad?" I chuckled.
"No, but everyone wants to had a day to themselves." He said.
I smiled.
"Don't go and do nothing stupid okay. If you need me then call me." I said and Alex nodded and smiled.
"I will." He said quietly and slowly falling asleep.
"See you later." I said and kissed the side of his mouth which made him smile and I got my bag and went to college.

I walked into class and sat next to Eric.
"Fucking hell Tate you feeling okay?" He chuckled.
" Yeah." I said.
He just chuckled.
Dani came over and sat with us.
"Why do you think we're here?" She asked.
"Because we fucked up." I said.
"But I don't understand how." Eric said.
I just shrugged my shoulders and looked my phone and saw that Alex had texted me.
'Please don't hate me when you get home <3'
I sighed and replied to the text.
'I could never hate you. But what did you do? Love you <3'
"Trouble in paradise?" Eric asked.
"No." I said seriously and felt my phone go off.
'I cut myself. Love you too <3'
I sighed.
"Baby you was doing so well :( <3.'
"Who's Alex?" Dani asked.
"My other half." I said might as well get it in the open.
"Didnt know you was dating." Eric said.
"Well no one is meant to know." I said.
"How come?" Dani asked.
"Because he's 17." I said.
"Oh, its not that bad." Eric said.
"I'm 21 and fucking a minor, somehow I can't see how that is not bad." I said.
"Yeah but you love him don't you?" Dani said.
"I fucking love him." I said and my phone went off again.
"Then your secret is safe with us as this Alex dude has really cheered you up." Eric said.
"Yeah, you know when I said I had a fuck buddy." I said.
"Yeah." Eric and Dani said together.
"Well Alex was my fuck buddy." I said.
"No way! Get in there Tate." Eric chuckled.
"You keep your mouth shut." I said seriously.
"We will don't threat." Dani said and I smiled and looked at the text.
'I've let you down, I'm sorry. <3'
'No you haven't, just don't freak out and I'll be home soon and we can have a chat and order pizza and cuddle and watch movies. <3'
I was hoping with put a smile in Alex's face.
'Consider it a date :) :* <3'
That put a smile on my face for the rest of the day.

When I got back Alex was pacing up and down the sitting room.
His arms didn't have a bandage on them.
"Babe." I said and Alex jumped.
He looked at me and looked down quickly.
"Come here baby." I said and opened my arms out and Alex walked over and crashed into my chest and started to cry.
"Its okay." I said quietly.
"I couldn't get the thoughts out my head." He sobbed.
"Let's have a bath its been a hard day. Then after that I can order pizza and we can talk and I can give you a back rub and watch films and generally have a date of some sort." I said.
Alex looked at me and smiled and stood on his tip toes and kissed me.
"Sounds like a good idea." He said quietly.
"Well go and sit down and relax and I'll be with you in a second." I said and Alex nodded and and and sat on the sofa.
