Jacks POV Alex has been in hospital unconscious for nearly 6 weeks. I don't understand why but I know fuck all about medication. I was meant to be going on a business trip to somewhere but I felt that to my wing man to do as I can't really leave. During the day I spend with Alex then Seth or Riley spend the night. Aidan just spends most of her time with Rowan and Sky but she has been distant with everyone so I guess I have to talk to her. I was sat on my phone playing Candy Crush when I saw Alex's hand twich. A nurse was in his room checking everything was okay. "His hand just twitched." I said and looked at her. She smiled, "that's good because it means he's actually responding to the drugs we are using to bring back round for the 3rd time." She said. Alex has pretty much now fucked his body up, with the no eating for God knows how long and overdosing some of his organs nearly shut down but some how he managed to pull through it. "How long will it be until he wakes up?" I asked. "It still early days yet Sir, but I say it'll be in the next couple of days." She said. I smiled. "There's a girl who comes here, she has blonde hair and like a rainbow fringe. Do you know her?" The nurse said. "Yes I know her, she's our daughter." I said. The nurse smiled. "And the boys?" She asked. "2 got brown eyes and dark hair while one has blue eyes and dark hair and the other is blonde with green eyes? If so then 2 are ours the other two are their boyfriends." I said. She smiled and nodded. "Do you just have them three or not?" She asked. I looked at her confused what she was on about. "I'm just trying to be friendly. It may come across as me being nosey but I'm not." She said. "We have two more at home." I said. "Are they young then? Because I haven't seen any young children here." She said. "3 years old and 4 months old." I said and looked down. "I'm sure their missing their dads alot. You should bring them, maybe it'll help wake Alex up." She said. "I dunno, our 3 year is really close to him and that." I said. "I sense that all you kids are close to him even the ones who aren't. Just try and if he doesn't like it then he doesn't have to come again." She said and headed towards the door. "I'll see you later Sir." She smiled and walked out. I texted Riley since he hasn't been to school for nearly 4 weeks for no reason and asked him if he could bring Rowan with him. Half an hour later Riley showed up with Rowan. Riley picked him up and walked over to the chair next to me and sat in it while sitting Rowan on his lap. "Dada." Rowan said quietly and pointed to Alex. "He's asleep at the moment but he'll wake up soon." Riley said and kissed the side of Rowan's head. Rowan looked at me and reached his arms out and I got up and picked him up and he rested his head on my shoulder as I sat down. "Why you not in school?" I asked. Riley shrugged his shoulders. "Don't want to be there, just want to be here with dad and make sure nothing happens to him." He said quietly and looked at Alex. "Nothing will happen to him." I said quietly. "It's all your fault why he is in here. Why he needed to try and kill himself! You fucking broke his heart Pa and now look where he is. He's really underweight, he overdosed on his meds which fucked his body up and he cut himself so deep that he's probably gonna regret it for the rest of his life." Riley said and looked at me. "I know its my fault. I know I'm the reason why he is in this hospital bed. But he's been like this before and I will make him better." I said and looked at Rowan who was looking at Alex. "Want too see him?" I asked him. Rowan nodded and I sat him next to Alex. "Don't touch anything." I said and Rowan nodded and rested his head on Alex stomach. "Do you want bunny Row?" Riley asked and Rowan nodded and reached his arm out and Rowan passed him the toy and Rowan moved closer to Alex and cuddled into his side while cuddling bunny. "What we gonna do when he wakes up and is allowed to go home? Surely he has to go to an eating disorder place to get his weight back up." Riley said. "He won't go, he says that everyone in that place is out to get him, even though their not but his BPD plays a roll in that one. He hardly puts weight on when he's there but when he's at home he'll slowly get better." I said. "So you gonna let him come home and get better that way?" Riley asked. "For for the best Ri, he can't cope in a clinic especially if he having moment or whatever. At least if he's at home we doesn't have to worry and we can all look after him." I said. Riley sighed. "What's up?" I asked him. "I know he cant help what is wrong with him, but isn't it going to be really hard on all of us." He said and looked down. "It's going to be hard and we don't know if we will ever get him back to how he was before. But its worth a try, he just might be more temperamental with everyone than normal." I said. Riley nodded and looked at Alex. I looked as well and Rowan was asleep next to him. "I'm going to get coffee, you want one?" Riley asked. I nodded and gave him some money. He smiled and walked out the room. I picked my blanket up and put it over Rowan who was using Alex arm as a pillow and cuddling his toy. I smiled and rested my head on the bed and slowly fell asleep. "Pa, wake up." Riley said and shook my arm. I sighed and sat up and looked round the room Rowan was sat on the floor drawing on some paper. "What did I miss?" I yawned. "Well your coffee is properly cold, but that's it." Riley chuckled and handed me the coffee. I took a sip and it was cold but I drunk it anyway because I was thirsty. Riley chuckled and Rowan walked over to me and climbed on my lap. "What have you drawn then?" I asked. "You, dada, Seth,Ty, Ri, Kit, Aid, me and Sky." He said and pointed at the scribbled stick men. "What we doing then?" Riley asked and sat on the arm of the chair. "Being a happy family like before." He said. My heart broke a little. "We'll be happy again Row, just let dad get better and then we can go back to normal." Riley said. I heard the door open and Aidan walked in with Sky. "Aid!" Rowan said loudly. "Hello trouble, want me to take you home and have tea?" She said. "No." Rowan said. "Riley have Sky." She said and put Sky on his lap and sat on the bed and picked Alex hand up and messed with his hand. "Ri pass me my bag." She said and Riley passed her the bag and she looked through it and pulled some hand cream out. "His hands are dry." She said quietly. I smiled. "Do you want to come with me and get something to eat?" I asked Rowan. "No." He pouted and Sky started to grizzle. "Want to do a child swap?" I asked Riley and he nodded and I put Rowan on his lap and he passed me Sky. She stopped grizzling and looked at Alex. I sat her on the bed and Aid passed her a hand she got hold of his finger and lent against his chest. Rowan did manage to go and eat something, and he was asleep on Riley's chest. Sky was asleep on my chest and Aid was asleep next to Alex on the bed. Riley was just about falling asleep. The door opened and I looked and saw the nurse from earlier walk in. "Im guessing you need some more blankets so here you go." She said quietly and she put a blanket over Riley and Rowan. And put on over Aid. "I've even smuggled this for you." She said and handed me some baby milk. "You didn't have to." I said quietly. "Well I did, I'm guessing little one will wake up hungry anyway so I'll be doing you a favor." She chuckled. "Thanks." I said quietly. She smiled and walked out the room. I got comfy and slowly fell asleep.
