Jacks POV. I was watching Rowan blowing dribble raspberries on Skys belly which made her smile. I smiled a sad smile as Rowan used to do this when Alex was expecting Sky. Seth had gone out but he came back about an hour later. Kit had dragged Riley out somewhere and Aidan was talking to Tyler. I looked at Rowan and Sky and saw Sky wasn't enjoying the raspberry blowing game anymore. "Row, Sky doesn't want anymore raspberries." I said and he looked at me. "Dada?" He asked and crawled over and sat on my lap. "Not today bud, maybe tomorrow." I said. He nodded and rested his head on my chest and I pulled him into a hug. I heard my phone go off but I ignored it as I was really enjoying having a hug with Rowan. Aidan came barging into the room. "Have you seen your phone?" She asked. I shook my head and she went over to my phone and passed it too me and sat on the bed and Rowan went over to her and I picked Sky up as she was about to fall off the sofa and I don't think Alex would like it if I had to explain to him why she was in hospital. I looked at my phone and saw Alex had texted me. I unlocked my phone and looked at the message. 'I'm sorry I can't do this anymore. I love you x.' The message said. I looked at Aidan. "He isn't is he pa?" She asked quietly. "I would lie and say no but I'm not because you are old enough to know the truth. So whatever you are thinking its properly true. Tell Seth and Ri where I am and I need you all too pull your weight and look after Sky and Rowan." I said and put Sky in her play pen and walked over and pulled my coat on and pulled Alex's shoes on. "Pa?" Riley asked and Seth showed up as well. "Something has happened to dad and I need you all to be here for each other and look after Row and Sky. I will let you know what is happening. I probably won't be back until tomorrow at some point." I said quickly and looked for my keys. "Let me come with you." Seth said. "No. I need you to stay here and look after everyone for me." I said and picked my keys up and put my phone in my pocket. "Riley can go." Seth said. "None of you are coming with me. End to conversation. I'll let you know what is hapoening, I'll let Rian and Cass know what is happening and if you need anything then you call them. Also once the door is locked don't answer it and no wild parties." I said thinking of any more rules they should know about. "Skys bottles are already made up for the night and some of tomorrow but I'll be back at some point,I'll let you know what is happening don't worry." I said and looked at Aid who had Rowan balanced on her hip. "Be good. See you guys later." I said and walked out the door and made my way to Alex's. I got there and walked to his door and banged on it loudly. "Alex let me in!" I said loudly and banged louder on the door. One of his neighbors came out and looked at me. "Can I help you?" He asked. "Has Alex been in?" I asked quickly. "Is that his name, hardly see him if I'm honest but a boy was round earlier but that was the only time I have saw him." He said so Seth has been here. "Have you got a key or anything?" I asked. "No, I don't I'm afraid." They said. I rolled my eyes and started to kick his door down. "Sir,I don't think you should do that." They said. "He's my husband and something could be happening and then our 5 children will be without their dad do you really want that?" I said and looked at them hard. "The teenagers who's been coming backwards and forwards are your kids?" They asked. "Yes, now do you mind?" I said and gave the door a final kick and walked in. "Alex?" I said and looked in the sitting room and saw letters and his phone on the table. I quickly moved from there and looked round the house until I got to the bathroom and saw Alex on the floor bleeding badly. I guessed the nosey neighbor had followed me and I looked round d and saw them standing there shocked. "Well don't just fucking stand there looking shell shocked call a fucking ambulance before he fucking dies!" I said and grabbed what I could and kneeled beside Alex and sat him up a little. "Hey Lex, its me." I said trying not to cry. I looked round the room and saw a bottle which was empty. I looked back at Alex and he was conscious just about anyway. "Hey, babe. What have you done to yourself?" I said. Alex smiled a little. "Am I dead yet?" He asked weakly. "No, no your not and your not going to die." I said and kissed the top of his head. He lifted his arm up and rested his blooded hand on my cheek. "I'm sorry Jacky." He said quietly and closed his eyes. "Hey, don't fall asleep, show me your eyes I haven't seen them for a long time." I said and tapped his face and his eyes opened and he looked at me. "You shouldn't be sorry I should be the one saying sorry." I said and looked at him. "I'm so sorry Lex. If I didn't do what I did then we would still be at home together and you wouldnt be like this." I said and felt some tears fall. I felt Alex move his thumb and wiped what tears he could away. "I forgive you." He whispered. I smiled and I kissed him softly on the lips which he returned and rested my forehead against against him. I looked at him and he was falling unconscious again. "Hey stay awake for me." I said and tapped his face again and he woke up and looked at me. "How about when you get better, you come back home and we can all go on holiday somewhere. Or just us two can go away for the weekend. Would you like that?" I said and Alex smiled and nodded. "I love you Lex." I said quietly. "I love you too." He said barely above a whisper. I looked at him and he was unconscious. "Lex." I said and moved away a little and he didn't wake up. "Alex?" I said a little louder and shook him. "Alexander!" I said loudly and shook him hard. "No don't die in me or the kids." I said quietly and I felt someone put a hand on my shoulder. "Sir, my name is Poppy and I'm the paramedic." A voice said. "H..H..He's not breathing." I said quickly. "Mind out then Sir and we'll make him better.' She smiled and I stood up and stood in a corner and watched them. "Is my husband going to die?" I asked. "Right now Sir we don't know, his pulse is very weak and he's lost a lot of blood on top of overdosing on these. I'm not the right person to ask." Poppy said with a sad kind smile. I looked over to Alex who was getting lifted onto a stretcher. "Does he have anything that we need to know about?" She asked. "He has anxiety and Borderline Personality Disorder." I said. Poppy nodded. "Can I go with him? He doesn't like people he doesn't know." I said. Poppy nodded and I followed them. I looked at the neighbor. "Um, sorry about the front door can you get someone to replace it for me? And keep an eye on his flat for me." I said and handed him some money. "For ypurself and the door." I said and went to the ambulance and texted Seth what was happening. Once we got to the hospital I was told I had to wait in the waiting room. I phone Seth and told him what was happening and he said he was coming to the hospital before I could stop him. I was sat on my phone looking through the picutres me and Alex have taken over the years. I heard someone sit next to me and I looked and saw Seth. "He's gonna make it pa." He said quietly. I shook my head. "I don't think he is." I whispered and wiped a stray tear away which was rolling down my cheek. I felt Seth put a arm over my shoulders and pulled me to his side. "He will, he has too. I can't live any long on your poor cooking skills." I said I smiled and moved away from him and looked. "I'm not that bad." I said. "We've been having burnt toast for the last 4 months. I think you should just leave the cooking to Aidan." Seth chuxkled. "Probably will do." I said quietly. We both heard the door open and both our heads snapped round and saw a doctor. He looked round and saw me and he walked over to me and Seth. "Mr Barakat." He said and we both shook hands, he looked beside me and looked at Seth. "This is my son Seth." I said and the doctor shook his hand. "Is my dad going to be okay?" Seth asked. "The next few days are going to be touch and go if he'll make it." The doctor said. "So he could die?" Seth said quietly. "In all honestly with him overdosing, losing loads of blood from self harming and hardly eating anything for the last few months I would be surprised if he made the night." He said. "He can't! Pa tell him that dad can't die." Seth said desperately to me. I just ignored him and was lost in thought. I could literally be losing everything which meant the world to me. "I need some air." I said and got up and walked out the waiting room and went outside. Once I was outside I sat in the floor and rested my head against my knees and started to cry. I felt my phone go off and looked at it and saw Cass face and name on my screen. I ignored it and stared into space until I felt someone pulling me into their side. By the smell of things it was Seth. "Aunt Cass is worried sick." Seth said quietly. "She has nothing to worry about." I said and sniffed loudly and moved from Seth's side. "Go home pa. I'll stay with dad." He said quietly. I shook my head. "I have to be here, I have to make sure he'll be okay." I said my voice shaking a little. "Your clothes have blood all over them and so does your face." He said. "It doesn't bother me." I said quietly. "Don't blame yourself pa. We can't lose you as well." Seth said and rested his head on my shoulder. "I'm not going anywhere okay. I promise." I said and rested my head on top of his. "I'm sorry I'm the reason dad is in this place." I said quietly and moved my head of his. "Don't blame yourself. You said sorry to him didn't you?" He said and moved his head and looked at me. I nodded. "What did dad say?" He asked. "That he forgave me." I whispered. "Then why are you so down then? I know probably dad is on deaths door and that enough to anyone feel down, but he forgave you pa, surely that should cheer you up just a little bit." He said. "Because he might not of meant it." I said and looked at Seth. "Did you kiss?" He asked. I nodded. "Then he meant it. I know when me and Ty fight we always make up with a kiss and sex but I don't see that happening for a while with you." He smiled. "I don't need to know what you two get up to." I said and playfully pushed him. "We're not as bad as Ri and Kit!" He said. "I'm not talking about yours or Ri's sex life." I said. Seth chuckled. "Come inside its cold out here." He said and got up. I followed and looked at him. "Stop bloody growing will you!" I said. Seth chuckled. "What's up shorty?" He chuckled and I smiled. I liked how close me and Seth have gotten the last few days but it wasn't going to be like him and Alex. We walked to Alex's room and he had loads of wires attached to his chest and he was covered in bandages. "He did a good job this time didn't he?" Seth said quietly. "Yeah he did." I said quietly. "I've text Ty to ask him to bring some stuff for us." Seth said and put his feet on the bed. "Your going home when Ty show up." I said. "But pa." Seth pouted. I chuckled. "Your going home whether you like it or not. I need someone too look after everyone until I go home tomorrow." I said. "But I'm your most favorite." He said. "I love you all the same." I said and the door open and Tyler walked in. "Fucking hell." He said quietly. "Tyler don't stare it rude." Seth said and got up and took the bag of Tyler and gave it to me. "I've put a blanket in with your phone charger and headphones and I stole Seth's psp and charger for you to pass time and some spare clothes and toiletries." Tyler said. I smiled, "thanks Ty." I said. "Anytime Jacko." He smiled. "Can you drag Seth back home with you?" I asked and looked for my phone charger. "Sure, I mean we have to try and fit two people on my board which will be entertaining." Tyler said. "Or we can steal a wheelchair and I sit in the chair while you push me on your board." Seth said. Tyler pulled him close to him. "I don't think so." Tyler chuckled. "See you later pa." Seth said and walked over and hugged me which I returned. "See you later. If Rowan isn't in bed then he goes to bed when you get home." I said seriously. "Aidan was doing something with him and was getting him ready for bed." Tyler said. "Is Sky okay?" I asked. "Flat out asleep on her back in her cot." Tyler said. I chuckled. "Go now." I said and the both went off. I got the blanket and wrapped it round my shoulders and rested my head on the bed and got hold of Alex's hand and helded it u til I slowly fell asleep to Alex's heart monitor thinging going.
