Perfect Boyfriend

Nyssa's POV:
"Here you go ladies," Alex smiles down at the girls while he hands them their drinks. They all sigh and stare at him. "Need anything else?" "No," they all sigh in unison. He nods and walks off. All of the girls, even some of the guys, find Alex really hot. Why did I have to create such a hot boyfriend? Even though Alex technically doesn't have to work anymore, since I no longer have to pay, he still insisted that he stayed. So that he can collect more data. Which is fine by me, because I do not want to pay in the next three months.

Alex walks over to me and rests his hands on my waist. "I wish you would let your hair down more Nyssa, you look sexy that way." "Alex, we're working." I lightly push on his chest but his hands stay on my waist. "Hey you two, get a room," I hear Zack say. "What does that mean?" "It means we're showing to much PDA." "PDA?" "Public Display of Affection." Alex stays still and stares off for a few seconds. He smiles and looks down at me, "data collected. I now know what PDA is. And I think I like it."

He walks me backwards and I feel my back hit the wall. "Alex not here." "Why?" I remember the nightmare and push him away harder. "Nyssa?" I have to get these memories out of my head... Alex tries to grab me but I run past him and run into the back. I search through my bag and find my iPod. My hands are shaking, my eyes are tearing up. I quickly put the earbuds in and play the first song that comes on. I close my eyes and allow the music to blast in my ears. I feel someone gently grab me and they sit me down. I lean forward and rest my elbows on my legs, and resting my head in my hands. Whoever had me sit down is now rubbing my back.

I don't know how long its been, but I finally open my eyes and look up to see Jack. I quickly take the earbuds out and look away from him. "Are you okay now Nyssa?" "Yeah.. I am." I turn off my iPod and I hand it to Jack. "Do you.." "Yeah, I know what just happened." I let out a long sigh and rub my head. "Why won't it go away Jack..." "I don't know Nyssa, but you have to continue to fight it, and one day, it'll be gone." "Nyssa?" I look up and see Alex. "You, you caused this." Jack stands in front of me to block Alex. "Jack-" "I don't know what you're talking about." "You obviously don't know what happened to Nyssa in her past, but I do. And I know what you did earlier caused this." "Jack it's not his fault that he doesn't know. I never told him." "And he obviously doesn't deserve to know if he can't respect your space. I saw you push him away but he still persisted."

Jack forms a fist, I quickly stand up and grab his hand. "Jack please stop." "And why should I? I'm the one who knows you best Nyssa, not him." "Because he was there for me last night." Jack stops and slowly looks down at me. It was always Jack that's been there for me when the nightmares would come. Him and my parents are the only ones who fully know what happened. Claire doesn't even know. "Jack. It's okay. He didn't know." I feel his hand relax and I let go of it. "I just don't get what you see in him," he mumbles and walks off. "Nyssa, I'm sorry that I was the cause." "It's okay Alex. You didn't know." "Please tell me when I'm making you uncomfortable. That'll be the only way I can successfully collect data." Alex walks up to me, he looks so concerned about me. "I promise I will Alex."
