Perfect Boyfriend

Nyssa's POV:
"Sorry, but your voucher is still not in," the guy tells me. I let out a sigh and grab my student ID. School started two weeks ago and I still don't have my book voucher. My scholarship really needs to hurry up with it. I leave the bookstore and make my way to the reflection pond, which is really a fountain in a 3 foot pool that's really big. I find Claire and sit next to her, "still no luck?" "Nope.." Claire wraps her arm around me and I rest my head on her shoulder. "When do you have work?" "Soon. I just want to rest for a bit before I have to walk over."

"Have a good night mam." The girl completely ignores me as she gets off her bar stool. I work in a punk bar, which is really rare to find here. The bar plays punk, pop punk, and metal music. But mainly punk music. The decorations and food also go along with the theme. "What's Jin?" "Huh?" I turn around a see my co-worker Zack. "Your flannel, what's Jin?" "Oh, that's a member from my favorite k-pop band." "K-pop?" "Korean pop. The band is BTS." "Huh. Sounds interesting." Zack shrugs his shoulders and walks off. God he's so hot... But not once has he noticed me.. He barely talks to me anyway.. "Hey, excuse me. Hey." I look up and see an annoyed guy. "What can I get you?" "A beer, and I've been trying to get your attention for a bit." "Sorry.." I quickly grab him a beer and put it in front of him.

Tonight is a slow night, as it always is around this time. The main crowd doesn't come till 10 pm. I fix my flannel and push up my glasses. I look around and I see a guy walk in. He walks up to the bar and smiles at me. "What can I get for you?" "A coke, and something to share with you," he grins at me. "Zack!," I call out. Sometimes we get the perverts. And because I'm the only girl working tonight, this was to be expected. "What's going on here?" I nod to the guy and keep my head low. "What did you order?" "I want to share something with that girl." "That isn't allowed." "Oh come on." "If you want something from a girl, go to a strip club." The guy quickly stands up and slams his hands on the bar. "Oh come on. That girl looks like she hasn't been laid in months. Why don't I do her a favor."

Zack pushes me back and quickly jumps over the bar. "I'm going to have ask you to leave." The main reason Zack works here is because he is the muscle. He can take care of the perverts and rude customers that come in. Zack grabs the guy and pulls him out. Zack soon comes back in and walks over. "You okay?" "Yeah..."

First guy to hit on me and it was that guy. I should've known that would be the only way. I throw the trash into the large bin and pick up my backpack. My shift is over now for the night, and I have to walk back home. Good thing it's not that far away. "Hey girly," I hear a drunk guy say. I start to turn around, he grabs my arm and forces me against the wall. It's the guy from earlier. He quickly covers my mouth and I stare up at him in fear. He laughs, alcohol in his breath. I try to move but he keeps me pinned to the wall. "I don't like how you denied me earlier sweetie. How about you make it up to me?" He stops what he was about to do, when I see two fingers tap him on the shoulder. He turns around and I see a guy smile at him.

"I don't think so buddy." The guy punches him in the face and the drunk guy runs into me. The guy kicks him away from me and pulls me towards him. The drunk guy groans and slowly gets up. He shakes his head and slowly walks off. To drunk to remember. My heart is beating fast, "hey hey. You're okay now." I look up at him and he smiles at me. "Just try to calm down." I calm my breaths and he lets me lean against the wall. I push my glasses up and finally calm down.

"Wh-who are you?" "My name is Rian. I was walking by and saw what was going on." "Thanks..." "I like helping people, its part of my job." "Sounds like a good job." "I am also an inventor. It goes along with my work." "An inventor?" "Yes. I design things that people can use to help themselves. Now tell me, what is the one thing that you most desire?" "Uh..." "Come on come on. Tell me." "Um..." I bit my lower lip, this guy looked weird. "A boyfriend." "Uh huh. A boyfriend. Lets see... Ah! I got it." He pulls out a card from his back pocket and holds it out. "Take this card, and go to the website on it. There, you can get your boyfriend." I slowly take the card away from him. "Um.. Okay..." "Don't believe me? Give it a try tonight." I look at the card, Perfect Boyfriend. "Uh. Rian." I look up and he's gone.

"Well damn.. It's a real website..." I go through it a bit, I can create my perfect boyfriend. "I guess its like a game..." I click start and pictures of a lot of men show up. First step shows up and tells me to pick which one I like the most. I scroll through and find a guy with brown eyes, brown hair, and a bit of a beard. He's really cute.... I go ahead and click on his picture. Then it tells me to select style. I pick a punk rock style; skinny jeans, black converse, and a band shirt. It even gives me the option to give him tattoos which I do. The next step is to pick his characteristics. "My dream guy would..." And I start typing away. When I'm all done it tells me to confirm it. I press the button and tells me 'thank you for doing Perfect Boyfriend'. I yawn and look at the time. I didn't realize it was so late.

I hear a loud knock and slowly get up. "I'm coming Jack!" I roll out of bed and make my way to the door. I open the door and see two guys in black suits and sunglasses with a large metal pod that's as tall as them. "Uh..." "Your order is here mam. Shall we bring it in?" "Um... I didn't order anything." "Of course you did mam." I step aside and they bring the pod in. "Have a good time mam." They quickly leave and I stare up at the pod. "Huh.. What is this?" I get close and it opens making me jump back. I look up and see a guy inside it. Not just any guy. The guy I created last night. He falls forward and I catch him, but he's to heavy and we fall anyways. I push him off me, he's still unconcious. "Wha-what the hell is this!?"
