Perfect Boyfriend

Nyssa's POV:
I look in the mirror and stretch. This is one of the few things that Alex doesn't know about. I quickly walk over to the stereo and press play, making A by GOT7 play. I look in the mirror and start doing the dance. Dance has become my stress reliever and work out when I can't get to the gym. I'm glad that my school has some dance studios, because it was not great practicing in my room. A small space and I have to worry about not jumping or stomping with my neighbors downstairs. I smile to myself and look away from the mirror, I finally have the dance down! I go through the whole dance and hold the back of my neck while breathing deeply. "Nyssa." I freeze and slowly turn around. "J-Jack. What are you doing here?" "I'm here to work out. I heard music blasting in here and wanted to see what was going on." "Oh. Um. Nothing." "Were you dancing again?" I push up my glasses and quickly grab my stuff.

I grab my iPod and Jack's hand grabs mine. "Nyssa. What's going on? I know you mainly dance when you're stressed out." "How-how do you know-ow that?" "I'm not stupid Nyssa..." I slowly look up at him, he was leaning over me, his face close to mine. "Jack, I-" "How serious is your relationship with Alex?" "I... Um..." "It's just a simple question Nyssa." His hand grips mine and he steps closer. "Jack." "How serious are you two," he whispers. "Jack.. Stop.." I look away from him and he stops. He lets go of my hand and I step away from him. "I'm sorry... I-I don't know what came over me..." "It's fine.. Bye.." I grab my iPod and run out. My heart beating fast.

Jack's POV:
I stare in the mirror, "how stupid are you Jack? She has a boyfriend now. You should be happy for her." I shake my head and grab my iPod and plug it in into the stereo. Nyssa doesn't know that I like learning dance routines as well. And for some reason I decided to learn Obsession by BOYFRIEND. I don't know why... For some reason I think this song will relate to Nyssa and I one day.

*NEXT DAY*
I knock on her door, "Nyssa! It's me!" I wait a bit and Alex opens the door. "Where's Nyssa?" "Studying. How can I help you Jack?" "I have dinner for her." "That's okay. I already prepared dinner for the two of us." "Oh. Okay." "I'll tell Nyssa that you stopped by." "Um. Thanks. Hey uh, Alex." "Yes?" "How serious are you two?" "What do you mean?" "Well, you're Nyssa's first boyfriend, she's never had luck when it came to guys. And I just want to know how serious you two are." Mainly how serious is he about Nyssa. I don't want to see Nyssa get hurt by this guy that literally came out of nowhere. "I understand what you are saying now, well, I live here." "With her?" "Yes." That was really fast. Way too fast. "Is Nyssa comfortable with that?" "She agreed to it." Oh.

"Alex, is dinner ready," I hear Nyssa yell. I look in and see Nyssa walk out in pink pj shorts, pink bunny slippers, and her Super Sonico hoodie that has bunny ears on it. Her hair is in messy braids and she pushes her glasses up. She looks so.... Stop it Jack.. She rubs her eyes and looks up at us. "Oh. Hey Jack. When did you get here?" "Um. Just now. I wanted to bring you dinner." Nyssa walks over and smiles up at me. "I can keep it, since you already made it, packed it, and brought it over. I can eat it tomorrow." She takes the container from me and walks away. "Well, have a good night Jack. Thank you for thinking of Nyssa." Alex smiles and closes the door. That guy is so weird... I just want to know how Nyssa really met Alex, because I know he's not in any of our classes. I've never never seen him around school or work. So who is he?

*NEXT DAY*
Nyssa's POV:
"Nyssa, where are we going?" "It's a secret." I decided to wear one of the dresses that Alex picked out for me. And with the dance done, I figured I show Alex. We finally reach my favorite spot at school, which is an area in the nature trail. One day when I was walking it, I decided to take an adventure and go a way that didn't have a trail path. I'm so glad that I did, because it opened up to a small lake and enough space for me to do lay down and enjoy time alone. And as far as I know, no one else knows about it. This place is special to me. I drop my backpack, pull out my phone and the portable speaker. "What are you doing?" "Just stand right here, I want to show you something." I connect my phone to speaker, find the song, and press play. I smile at Alex and start dancing. As I danced, Alex kept his smile, his eyes never leaving me. When I finished, he comes over to me, holds me in his arms and spins me around making me squeal.

"That's awesome Nyssa! I didn't know that you danced!" "Yeah, it's my work out. I've been working on this dance way before we met. I wanted to show you it once I had it down." "I'm really happy that you did Nyssa." He sets me down on my feet and keeps me close to him. "You wore one of the dresses that I picked out for you, and you danced for me, I couldn't be more happy." He leans down and kisses my cheek. I look up at him confused, he usually goes for my lips. "I know that you get uncomfortable when I try to kiss your lips. I promised you that I wouldn't hurt you. I don't want you to be afraid of me." "Alex," I whisper, my eyes tearing up. On the speakers, Peter Pan by EXO starts playing and I start crying. "Nyssa, are you okay?" I know the English lyrics by heart and I smile more. He wipes my tears, "what's wrong?" "Everything is alright Alex. I promise. Can you learn to sing this song?" "But you're crying." "I know, I'm crying because I'm happy." "I've never heard of that before." "It's something that I can't explain. But, this song, I always dreamed that my boyfriend would sing this to me." "For you, I'll learn this song and sing it to you."

I literally have the world's perfect boyfriend.
