-Monday at School-
-Sam's Pov-

I basically ran to school this morning anxious to see Zack's face again. Why did his charm have to get to me? I sighed and started to put the books from my locker in my bag.

"Hey!" Kat said as she hugged me from behind and rested her head on my shoulder.

"Hey, Kat." I replied.

"What's his name?" Kat asked standing next to me and crossing her arms.

"What's who's name?" I asked, pretty confused.

"The boy that you are head-over-heels for! I know when you like someone, Sam so don't even try to lie to me! Who is he?" Kat asked shaking my shoulder.

"Zack Merrick." I sighed.

"Oh, my God! He's in my Bio class, I can so hook you up!" Kat squealed.

"You are not hooking anybody up. "

"Fine. Why didn't you tell anybody? " She asked hitting my shoulder.

"I don't know. Shut up. He's coming over here." I said sternly.

"Ok. I'm still mad at you, though."

"For what?" I asked.

"Not telling me." She replied.

"Get over it." I mumbled through my teeth.

"Good Morning." Zack said smiling sweetly.

"Good Morning." I replied staring into his eyes idly. "Uh, Kat, this is Zack, Zack, this is my best friend Kat." I said introducing them.

"Hi," Kat said shaking Zack's hand.

"Hey," Zack replied.

"I've heard SO much about you." Kat said glaring at me momentarily.

"Uhm, Kat, I think you should get your books so that you're not not late for class." I said interrupting her.

"I already have my stuff" She said gesturing to her bag. Then help Leikin with her combo. I said turning Kat around and pushing her gently in the direction of Leikin's locker.

"Bye!" She screamed from down the hall.

"Bye." I mumbled.

"So, you talk about me?" Zack teased.

"Maybe." I mumbled.

" So, how was your weekend?"

"Fun." I stated. Suddenly, The warning bell rand.

"That's my cue. See ya." Zack said softly.

"Bye." I replied. Slamming my locker shut and locked it. I looked up to see Alex making kiss faces at me. Mocking Zack and I . I slapped him upside the head. "Shut up."

"Hey, don't get all feisty just because your boyfriend left, ok?" Alex said jokingly.

"Hahaha, Alex. You're so funny." I said, sarcastically rolling my eyes.

" I know, right?" He smiled. I sighed and walked to homeroom with Alex.

-Alli Pov-

Jack and I sat in homeroom next to each other. All of a sudden, Kat ran in and sat in front of me.

"Sammi's in love!" Kat squealed.

"With who? Why didn't she tell me?" I replied, surprised.

"Zack from bio and I had to force it out of her. You should've seen the way she looks at him!" Kat said. I could see how excited she was for Sam.

"Oh, I know him." Jack cut in.

"You can't tell him!" Kat and I replied in unison.

"Why would I? He wouldn't shut up. about this Sam girl," Jack said

"That's the perfect reason TO tell him," Kat said, simply.

"He should find that out on his own, and I am NOT a fan of playing cupid." He said, crossing his arms.

"Good," I added in. Rian walked in shortly after.

"What are we talking about?" Rian asked

"Nothing," Kat and I said in unison.

"You guys need to stop talking at the same time. It's creeping me out," Jack laughed lightly.

"Fine, leave me out," Rian said sitting next to Kat.

"Their friend likes Zack, but don't tell anyone because if she found out that Kat's big mouth told us, she'd kill her."

"Yeah, basically," Kat said calmly.

"Ok," Rian said calmly.

-Kat's Pov-

After school ended I went over to Sam's house. We laid on her bed.

"So, when are you gonna tell Zack?" I asked

"Tell him what?" She replied

"That you looovvvveee him." I replied, teasing her.

"Like, never," Sam replied simply.

"Why not?" I whined

"Because, he probably won't like me,"

"Are you stupid?! He does like you! He went to your locker first-thing in the morning. Have you seen the smile on his face when he sees you? Jack, his friend says that he's always talking about you he-"

"You didn't tell Jack, right?" she asked.

"I'm sorry." I replied instantly.

"NO, Kat! you know what happened last summer! Why would you do that?" Sam said going into ultimate panic mode.

"I wasn't thinking, I'm sorry."

"It's fine," Sam replied softly. "Everything's fine." Man, did I feel like a piece of shit. Why can't I just keep my mouth shut?
