Chapter 3
Leikin's Pov-
-Friday Night-
Kat, Alli, Sam ,and I are supposed to have a sleepover at my house tonight. We haven't really gotten a chance to hang out all week until now. I was sitting in the basement staring idly at the ceiling.
"Leikin! Your brother's on the phone! " My mom yelled from the kitchen upstairs. I ran upstairs and grabbed the phone. I haven't talked to my brother, Nat since he left for college a few weeks ago. He wanted to become a doctor and he decided to go the farthest he could possibly go for college, which was University of Colorado at Boulder.
"Hello?" I asked as soon as I got ahold of the phone.
"Hey," It was good to hear his voice again.
"So, how's college."
"It's," He paused in search for a word. "Pleasant.." He trailed off.
"Sounds fun." I laughed
"How's high school?" He asked.
"It's good, but I haven't really gotten the chance to hang out with my friends yet, they're supposed to be coming over soon," I said
"Oh, that's good," He replied
" I really wish you were he-"
"Who's that?" Allison asked scaring the shit out of me.
" Nat." I said. Clenching my fast-paced heart.
"HI NAT!" Alli screamed.
"HELLO!" He screamed back. "I'll call you tomorrow, okay?" Nat stated.
"Okay, bye." I said hanging up.
-Sam's Pov-
I laid down on my bed. I missed Colorado. I moved to Baltimore with my mom when I was five. My dad and my brother, Sean stayed in Colorado. My parents are still married, they call each other all the time. My mom got a job here, but Sean, who was nine at the time didn't want to leave, so my dad stayed in Colorado with him.My mom and I visit Colorado every summer for at least two weeks, if not, a month. I missed Sean so much. I sat up. and looked at the clock 7:30 I was supposed to be at Leikin's house at 6 Shit I grabbed my bag and rad downstairs.
"Mom, I'm going over to Leikin's house." I said halfway out the door.
"Okay, be safe,bye." she replied. With that,I ran to Leikin's house.
When I got there , I rang the door bell. Leikin answered.
"Where the fuck were you?" She asked
"I'm sorry, I lost track of time," I replied
"Come in, we started the movie without you."She stated
"Gee, thanks," I replied sarcastically as I walked in.
"We're watching Home Alone, again" Kat complained.
Leikin was OBSESSED with that movie, the probably knew the whole script backwards from walking it like 15 billion times.
"Can we watch something else? You're gonna kill me with this." Alli added.
"Fine, I'll find something else." She sighed defeated. We stayed up until about 2 am watching movies. I couldn't fall asleep, I had something on my mind, Zack to be exact. It wasn't like me to stay awake thinking about guys I've just met because what were the odds of them liking me back?
