Jacks POV

After Alex left his brothers was talking about something and I was just sat here like an awkward person with nothing better to do because I really didn't have anything better to do.
"What is your name?" One asked I think he was the oldest out of them.
"Jack." I said.
"I'm Eric and this is Freddie." He said.
"Nice too meet you." I said quietly and looked away from them.
"Thanks for trying to help him." Freddie said.
"Didn't even do anything." I said.
"Yeah you did, you didn't ignore him like most of these shits in this place." Eric said.
"He doesn't help himself." I muttered.
"We know, we have too live with him." Eric chuckled.
I smiled.
"We're going home, you want a lift home?" Freddie asked rolling a cigarette and handed it to Eric and then rolled himself one.
"Might as well." I said and got up.
"You smoke?" Eric asked.
"No, I'm only 14." I said.
"So is Alex but that doesn't seem too stop him." Freddie said.
"Well Alex is just an oddball." I said.
"Unless you want a fucking punch round the face I suggest you don't speak about Alex like that." Freddie growled.
I just stood there.
Someone a bit protective.

Eric and Freddie was sat at the front aruging about what they should listen too while smoking.
After 5 minutes Freddie won and got to listen to what he wanted.
"What do you listen too?" Eric asked.
"Blink, Greenday you know that sort of stuff." I said.
Freddie looked at Eric and smirked.
"What?" I asked confused.
"Nothing, so what do you think about Alex, part from him being a oddball." Freddie said.
"Hold up, how do you know I'm even gay?" I asked confused.
"We didn't but now we do and we have a plan." Eric said.
"Christ." I muttered.
"So, what do you think of about our Alex then?" Freddie asked and looked at me.
"Are you actually girls under that clothing?" I asked.
"Want us to strip and show you?" Eric chuckled.
"No, I'm good thanks." I said.
"Stop avoiding my question!" Freddie whined and slapped my leg.
"Ow." I muttered.
"Leave the poor bastard be will you." Eric said and pushed Freddie by the shoulder.
"I need to know and I know you do too." He said and rubbed his shoulder.
"Fine I'll answer, he has serious problems but underneath it I'm guessing is a nice person." I said.
"Would you fuck him if you could?" Eric asked.
"Eric!" Freddie said and punched his arm.
"Ow I'm driving you shit and unless you don't want to walk home then don't fucking touch me." He said seriously.
"We're home anyway." Freddie said and got out the car.
"Yeah, what happened about taking me home." I said.
"Get out the car princess, your staying here for a while." Eric said and I got out the car.
I rolled my eyes and followed them.

"Hey we have a hostage." Freddie said loudly.
"I'm not your bloody hostage." I said.
They went to the kitchen and I followed them and Alex was sat on the table nursing some sort of drink with a load of pills beside him.
His mum was doing something but I don't have a clue what.
Alex was also just in his pajama bottoms.
"Have you brought Jack here against his will." Alex said.
"Yes!" I said but Freddie and Eric said no louder than me.
Alex chuckled and looked at the pills.
"Ugh why does my life envole around pills." He said and picked one up and put it in his mouth.
"Because your a physco and mentality messed up." Eric said.
"Gee thanks Eric." He said sarcastically.
I just stood here really awkwardly.
"Your not even gonna bother asking him if he wants a drink?" Alex said with a mouthful of pills.
"He's your guest." Freddie said and looked in the fridge.
"I didn't kidnap him." He said and downed his drink and got of the table.
"Yeah but still." Eric said.
Alex shook his head.
"Want a drink Jack?" He asked and looked at me.
I shook my head.
"Sure? Don't let these pigs stop you." He said.
"I'm sure." I said.
"Well since their not gonna have anything to do with you, you might as well come as see if you can complete this bloody game for me." He said and walked past me.
I followed.
"Don't go fucking him Alex!" Freddie shouted.
"He's probably a nun anyway." He muttered and walked up the stairs with me following.

We walked into this room.
There was a double bed which was by the wall and unmade, a TV up on the wall, the wardrobe was built in and his room was really big.
I stood in the doorway feeling awkward bout this.
Alex was under the duvet.
"You can come in you know, but if you think your getting a share in the duvet you got another thing coming." He said and lent against the wall.
I walked in and sat on the bed.
"I'm sorry about anything they have said to you, they can get a bit much especially if they think it's someone I might like." He said and passed me the control.
I looked at him.
"The only time we have spoken was when I was drunk and losing my shit. But now I'm all drugged up for a few hours I'm completely normal." He said.
"Why do you take some much drugs?" I asked.
"Somehow I managed to get all the problems." He said.
"Like what?" I asked.
He smiled and fidgeted.
"Like ADHD, anxiety and depression and they think I have other stuff wrong me me." He said.
"Explains why you lose concentration easily." I said.
I looked at the TV and saw the level Alex was trying to complete but wasn't working.
"It's hell trust me and then having other things wrong as well makes me royaly fucked up." He said.
Alex moved and got off the bed and grabbed the guitar.
"Does that mean you don't sleep much?" I asked.
"I do, but from a helping from drugs. Drugs glorious drugs." He said and started to play it.

Alex literally doesn't stop.
He's completely different here than what he is at school.
"It's behind you!" He said loudly and snatched the control from me.
"Hey!" I said and looked at him.
"Shush!" He said and slapped his hand over my mouth but quickly moved it back on the control.
I laughed.
"Your insane." I said.
I was surprised when he didn't take offensive to it like normal.
"Aye, dunno where I was when the dished out the sane brains. But I'm crazy and i have to live with it." He said.
"Bastard!" He shouted and threw the control on the bed.
"Stupid game." He said and got off the bed and walked rpund the place.
"What you doing princess?" Eric asked and looked in the room.
Alex pulled a face.
"Fuck knows, Jack is shit at the game as well." He said and sat on the floor with a thud.
"Oi, don't knock these lights out otherwise you'll be buying more to replace them!" He mum said up the stairs.
Alex snorted and lead on his back.
Eric shook his head and walked off.

"It's late, my mum is probably wondering where I am." I said.
"Well my brothers are stalkers and somehow found your number and phoned your mum." He said and looked at me still on the floor.
"Creepy." I said.
"Hmm, and people call me creepy sometimes." He said and looked at his arm and ran his finger down it.
"Your not creepy." I said.
He laughed and looked at me.
"I see nothing wrong with you, part from I'm have problems keeping up with you when your talking since your talking really fast." I said.
"If that happens then just tell me to slow down or take a breath or something. I get a bit carried away." He said.
"Eric and Freddie sometimes have problems keeping up with what I'm saying." He said.
I smiled and Alex got up and walked back over to the bed and sat next to me.

"What happened?" I asked and pointed to the scars on his arm.
"Self harm, a lot of stuff happened when we was in england, this is our fresh start." He said quietly.
His mum came in.
"Your mum is outside." She said.
I smiled.
"You in school tomorrow?" I asked.
He shook his head.
"I'm having a few days off since things aren't going well as what they thought." He said.
"Confused." I said.
"It takes me a while to settle into places like schools and if it gets too much then I do what I did today, but I'm coming back but it'll still be for half days though as I can't cope with full days." He said.
"Oh." I said.
"I'm sure you'll be allowed round, part from I'm now really hyper and shit but hey, shit happens." He said and got off the bed and ran out the room.
"Alex fuck off will you!" Eric shouted.
I walked out of his room and saw him messing around with Eric.
"I swear if you don't beat it I'll fucking do something too you." He said.
"No fun, Eric." Alex pouted and slapped his shoulder.
He walked over too me.
"This place is a mad house." I muttered.
"Aye." Alex said and went over somewhere.
Alex returned a few seconds later and ran down the stairs pretty much.
I walked down the stairs and peered round the sitting room door.
"Oi you rude shit see Jack out." Freddie said from the chair.
"Ugh." Alex said and got up and walked over to me.
"There's the door, open it and don't forget to shut it when you have walked out the door and I'll see you whenever I return back to school." He said.
"Such a charmer." I said and looked at him.
He looked at me and shrugged his shoulders and walked back to the sitting room.

"Fucking hell Alex your people skills are shit." Freddie said and walked out to where I was.
"Sorry about that." He said and walked me too the door.
"It's fine." I said.
"Look I need you to do something for me." He said and walked outside with me and shut the door behind him.
"Which is?" I asked.
"Be a friend to Alex. I know he's hard work and impossible to keep up with especially he's on a roll, but he likes you its rare that Alex actually likes someone." He said.
"I see myself as a friend of his anyway." I said.
He smiled.
"He might try and push you away but that's Alex he does that, but if you keep on coming back he'll give up eventually, might take a few month since he's a stubborn bastard but he'll give in." He said.
I smiled.
"You better get going see you tomorrow." He said and walked in and shut the door behind him.
I walked to the car and got in and let my brain calm down a little.
