The room was filled with our thick, heated breaths. The smell of the room transformed from Ocean Breeze to sweaty body odor. Our bodies were pressed together like wet clay, our tongues moving around in each other’s mouths. After the last shout of my name, I was yanked out of – what?! A dream! I startled awake, and with my blurred vision, I saw a figure beside me. “I think you're the wanker in this scenario, brother.” Tom threw another joke my way. I threw a pillow at his face in hopes to shut him up. “Well, someone is having their mood swings.” I gave up on trying to ignore him, and I sat up in my bed. Tom’s eyes went to my stomach. “All jokes aside, how're you doing, Lex? Mum and dad told me it hasn't been easy.” I looked down with a frown.

“It's been hard, but now, with Jack, he's been so helpful to me. He was someone who didn't judge me when he found out when I was pregnant. I have been getting looks at school, and he protects me. He doesn't let anything happen to me; he's making it easier.”

“Just, I'm begging you, don't get your hopes up. I don't want the same thing to happen like with what happened with Oliver. Just, be safe, okay?”

“I will, Tom. I promise.” I smiled. Tom opened his arms for an embrace, and I didn't hesitate to leap into his comforting arms. “I love you, bro.” I whispered.

“I love you, too. Now come on, we need to go get ready to see your lifeguard boyfriend.”

We arrived to the water park just in time for the start of Jack’s shift. My parents had went to do their own thing while Tom stuck around with me. The weather was scorching, but today, I was too self-conscious to remove my shirt. Tom and I searched for the area where Jack was, and we soon found him at the wave pool. The minute I saw him was when a wide, mile long smile spread across my face. Jack instantly caught glimpse of me because I heard a loud, “Alex!” He jumped from the lifeguard tower, leaving a coworker of his to watch the kids, and ran over to us with open arms.

Jack reached me and pulled me into his strong arms. The strong smell of chlorine invaded my nostrils. I nuzzled my head into his shoulder, though, just desiring the closeness. “Hey, you. It's so nice of you guys to make it!” When Jack pulled away, he turned his attention to Tom. “Hey, bro. What's up?” Jack asked as he fist pumped Tom.
“Nothing much, mate. Just was walking mama around, so he could find his Romeo.” he joked. I groaned.

“You and your fucking jokes, man.” I spat.

“Well, now that you found Jack, I'm going to find a very lovely lady to converse with. Au Revoir, mates.” With that, Tom skipped away. We laughed at my brother’s antics. Jack motioned me over to the wave pool lounge. He sat me down on one of the long lounge chairs and sat beside me.

“How are you feeling, baby?” Jack asked as he rubbed my back.

“I'm okay. I'm really glad you invited us all here. My parents are having a blast at the pool, and Tom will be having his own blast tonight. Now, I'm at my happy place because I'm with you.” I smiled with a light blush.

“Well, why don't you go in the wave pool? It'll be fun!” Jack suggested. I shook my head.

“Nah, I rather not. I just want to lounge and relax – maybe take in the sun.”

“Alright, then. At least take off your top?” I frowned at his second suggestion. “What's wrong? You don't want to?”

“Just kinda feeling conscious about it.”

“Aw, don't! C’mere!” Jack proceeded to pull my shirt off and reveal my tiny tummy to anyone who was around. Jack placed a palm against the bump, and I let out a gasp. “You have such a cute –“

“Why don't you get your hands off my kid, yeah?” A voice boomed. The voice made my stomach plummet and my eyes widened. I looked up to see a face I never thought I'd see again.

“O-Oli?”
