Jack

I smiled down at the text Alex sent me back about our plans. I was damn sure that when we get to the store, we were going to fight over different color paints for Miracle's room. There was no doubt in that whatsoever. But, I really do hope they both would like a light purple color, I feel like it suits my babygirl perfectly.
I entered the auto shop and greeted soe nearby workers before making my way to my office. I unlocked my office door and went in, dropping off my personal items before walking back out of my office and going to meet with Matty in his office. I knocked on his door and I heard him say ‘come in’ from the other side.

“Hey Matty.” I greeted him as I entered.

“Morning Jack. How’s the family doing?” He said with a smile on his face as I took a seat across from him.

“So far, so good. Alex is bringing Miracle by on my lunch break so you can meet her.”

“Great. Can’t wait to meet the little sweetheart.” He then passed me over a few papers. I took them and looked them over. They were just papers about repairs that got called in, that need to be done pretty soon. I said a quick ‘see ya later’ to Matty, then left his office to go back to mine. Once I got back in mine, I sat at my chair and picked up my work phone, calling the first number on the list.

“Hello, this is Jack Barakat, I’m from Baltimore Auto Repair, I got notice that you needed a repair done with your car?” I spoke once the person picked up.

So, this is like the shortest chapter I have ever written.
But that's because I didn't really have anything planned for this one.
