Alex's POV

I was sat in English slowly losing the will to live.
It wasn't as bad as it normally was as Jack was in my English class as well so at least I had someone to talk to.
"Oi, is it true you shagged the Nigga?" Someone asked quietly.
I looked at them confused.
"No I haven't shagged him. I'm not even gay." I said back.
"They said give it two weeks and you will do cause everyone knows what a slut you are." They said.
I just ignored them.
"Get into pairs." The teacher said.
Jack looked at me and I smiled making sure he knew he could work with me.
He got up and sat next to me.
"Told you. Them two are gonna be fucking in a matter of days." The person next to us said to the person they was working with.
"Oi dagger! Don't speak about us if you dont know the fucking facts so shut the fuck up and get on shagging each other." Jack said.
Well at least Jack had my back on this.

"What did you say?" They questioned and got out their seat.
Jack got out of his stood right in front on the person.
"You heard." He growled and he wasn't going to back down.
I got up and got hold of his arm.
"Leave it Jack. Hes not worth it." I said.
Jack moved but not before he punched him hard in the stomach.
"Learn the facts before you say shit." He said and spat on them and walked out the class.
I sighed and got my stuff and went after him.
I found him out on the field.
"I feel like bunking. Wanna come back to mine?" I asked.
Jack looked at me.
"Sure. But what about your parents?" He asked.
"Just leave them too me." I smiled and we walked back to mine.

We got back to mine and dads car was out.
"Your in luck about not meeting him." I said and looked at Jack whose mouth was wide open.
"Don't look so shocked. You used to spend pretty much everyday here." I said.
"I know." He said sadly and looked down.
"Mother might be in but I'm not sure." I said and walked indoors with Jack following like a lost dog.
"Mother you in?" I said loudly.
"Alexander why aren't you at ..." She started but stopped when she saw Jack.
"Why is there a Cross in my house?" She asked.
"It's Jack. You know..." I started but she stopped me.
"I don't know a Jack." She said and looked at me hard.
"Maybe I should just go." Jack said quietly but I grabbed his arm and stopped him.
"Well considering I don't actually have any friends and the fact Jack my partner in English you'll have to get used to seeing his face." I said and barged past her dragging Jack behind me.
"Alexander you get down here right now!" She shouted up the stairs.
"Hate the fact she calls me that." I muttered and Jack chuckled. "2 seconds make yourself at home." I said and left Jack in my room looking round the place.

Jacks POV

Alex had left me in his room while he shouted at his mum downstairs.
I sensed he doesnt get on with his family.
I looked round his room.
His bed wasn't made and there was loads of clothes on the floor.
He had a TV which was mounted on the wall with an Xbox underneath the tv.
His guitar was lent against the foot of his bed and other than the clothes he had loads of books and papers on the floor.
He also had one wall covered in posters.
I walked over and picked his guitar up and sat on the edge of his bed and played it quietly.
Alex came back and slammed his door shut.
"Sorry about that Jack." He said and started to take his school uniform of.
I couldn't help but stare at him.
He got down to his pants before he looked round and saw me looking a him.
I looked down quickly and muttered sorry.
He chuckled and pulled a jumper which was too big for him on and sat on the bed next to me.
"Give it here." He said and I passed him the guitar and he moved more onto the bed and sat cross legged and started to play the guitar.
I watched him and couldn't help think about how attractive he looked.
"You can sit more on the bed. I don't mind." He said and looked up and smiled at me while still playing the guitar.
I really didn't know how to put this bloody plan into place it was so simple in my head but its so hard to put into practice.

After a while Alex got bored and got off the bed and grabbed two controls and passed one to me.
"Have you played before?" He asked as he rolled a cigarette.
"No. We don't have the money for it." I said quietly and looked down.
I felt him move closer to me.
"Well that doesn't matter because I'll teach you if I have to." He smiled and blew smoke out of his mouth away from me.
I groaned to myself and flopped back onto the bed.
I could really kiss him right now but that would be rule 5 out the window.
Don't get close to anyone.

We gave up with the Xbox so we was watching some film. "Alex." I said and looked at him.
He was stood by the door smoking and looking lost.
"Yeah." He said and looked at me.
How the fuck am I meant to do this?
I knew I had Alex's trust I've been working hard on getting his trust for the last week and I think I've finally have it.
"Put some pants on." I said and got of his bed and put my shoes on.
He looked at me confused.
"Meet me at the beach in 5 minutes." I said and climbed down the drain pipe and ran to the beach since his folks didn't know I was coming round and everything.
Alex came down and was wearing a hoodie.
"Jack what's going on?" He asked.
It's now or never.
"Remember when you managed to work out when Meggie was part of a gang?" I asked and looked at him.
"Yeah. I'm not stupid." He said.
"Never said you was Alex. But I'm part of the same gang as Meggie." I said and looked into his eyes as his eyes always gave away on how he really felt.
I was shocked when I didn't see any anger in them.
"I know. I put the pieces together and worked out that the reason you and Meggie was there was because you want to watch the house blow up."
Well we wasn't watching the house blow up but I won't say that to him.
"We need your help." I said.
He looked at me really shocked.
"Look I know what it looks like. A bunch or Crosses asking you to join them and help but we need someone with brains. Your sister is fucking useless and that." I said carefully.
"Once I'm in I can't leave can I?" He asked.
I shook my head.
He thought about it and grabbed my arm and dragged me to the fence where to got out.
He pulled his hood up and so did I.
"Show me the way then Jack." He said as we walked towards where we needed to be.
