Noughts and Crosses

*3 weeks later*


Alexs POV

"You know the plan is and you two have to stick to it with no changes." Sir said.
I raised my hand as its was becoming a habit when I wanted to talk or ask questions.
"What happens if something comes up which wasn't expected to come up?" I asked.
Sir thought about it and looked at Kyle who was in the darkness of the room .
"You seriously gonna trust him with a gun?" He asked.
"Wait what?" I asked shocked and confused about this as they all thought I was too hot headed to own a knife or a gun or even both.
"He only has a problem with you Kyle, so yes I am going to trust him." He said and handed me the gun.
"Don't kill Kyle, Kyle don't kill Alex." He said and looked at us both.
He walked over to to me.
"Don't make me regret this Alexander otherwise your a dead man." He said quietly.
In other words don't fuck up.
"You won't regret this." I said quietly.
"Good. Now you both know the plan, you'll be watched so you can't afford fuck ups." He said and looked at me and Meggie.
We both nodded.
He smiled and left the room with Kyle following him.
I was still confused why he followed Sir all over the place but I didn't ask questions about it.

I pulled on a beanie and Jacks jacket since I haven't returned it to him yet.
We knew the the security didn't make you take you hats off so I had some bombs in my hat while others stuffed down my pants.
Which I am not comfortable with if I can say.
"Right when we get in there you to to the loo and plant one of them in the toilets. If anyone asked questions shoot them. Keep your hood up and change your clothes as well." Meggie said and picked her bag up.
I didn't have a clue where she was hiding her collection of bombs.
Jack came in.
"Meggie Sir needs to see you." He said seriously.
She smiled and went out the room.
"Do you want your Jacket back?" I asked.
"Na, it looks better on you than it does me." He said quietly.
I smiled.
"It's lost your smell so your gonna have this back then I'm gonna steal it from you again." I said.
It was safe to say we both knew we liked each other but we didn't want to say anything to each other about it cause it was a dangerous game once you do that. So we just flirted alot.
"Shouldn't wear it so much then." He chuckled.
I smiled.
"Since your on push bike you better get going since Meggie is getting a lift there. Once you've turned them on you have exactly 5 minutes to get out of there and get as far away as you can. You come straight back here using the back streets I showed you. You don't look back and you don't go back for Meggie. Got it, its risky enough as it is without you going after her." He said seriously.
"But..." I said but Jack stopped me.
"No buts. No exceptions. You get out of there and come back here." He said.
I looked at him.
He moved closer to me.
"I don't want to lose my friend." He said quietly.
"And you look cute in a beanie." He whispered in my ear which made me blush.
He chuckled.
"Go. Otherwise everything will not go to plan." He said and walked out the room.
I picked the scaf which was on the table and put it on and covered the lower half of my face and went out the back and got on the bike and made my way to the train station.

I got there and Meggie was just out the car so I put my bike round the back and took the back way into the station. I looked around and kept out the cameras veiw and went into the station.
I looked around and everyone was too busy with their lives to notice me.
I looked around and saw Meggie and went into the loos.
I took my beanie of and put a bomb under the toilet and quickly and got changed and took the bombs out my pants and put them in a bag.
I got out out the toilet and looked around.
The train was going to be here in 10 minutes and we had to dump this bag and get out before this.
To make it more realistic I stopped and talked to Jack.
"So far so good." I said quietly.
"That's good." He said.
"Start to tell everyone to get out." I said and walked off.
I walked around and blened in with everyone.
I went towards the fire exit and put the bag down.
I got my phone out and texted the person who ever was in charge of the bomb and threw it somewhere close to the bag so it would disappear when the bomb went off.
We all agreed that when either me or Meggie had finished we you fire one bullet as a signal to get out.
So I did and ran out the door and went and found the bike and pedaled as fast as I could until I got back.

I went inside and everyone stood and looked at me.
I looked around and didn't see Meggie.
"Where's Meg?" I asked and looked at them.
"She didn't come out." Kyle said.
Knew I should of gone back in.
"What do you mean 'she didn't come out' she was stood right by the fire exit when I left." I said.
"Look if she wasn't out before they went off then we had to go. You know the rules." Kyle said.
"I'm going back." I said and turned round.
"No your not Alex!" He said loudly.
I stopped and looked at him.
"And yet if it was Jack it would be completely different. Like with everything else, if that was Jack you be over at that station looking for him. Why can't I do that?" I said.
"It wouldn't be different I would have to wait until he came home until then I wouldn't have a fucking clue if he was dead or alive." Kyle said.
"I am here you know guys." Jack growled.
"Shut it Jack." Kyle snapped.
Jack walked over to him.
"No. Let him find her for fuck sake because if she's gone missing we could all be in the shitter." Jack said.
Kyle looked at him.
I scoffed and went back to the station after I changed my clothes.

When I got there it was chaos.
"What the fuck have I done?" I muttered to myself as I looked at the damage I've done.
I walked around and looked at the people.
Injured and dead.
I felt someone grab my hand.
I looked around and saw Jack.
"Look we have to go in there." He said quietly and looked around.
"How the fuck are we going to do that?" I whispered to him.
"That's where your brains come into action. And it better hurry as we don't have much time before they go in and look." Jack said.
I thought about something.
I grabbed his arm and dragged him to behind the building.
"One of us has to keep look out." I said and looked at him.
"You do that. Your eyes are better than what mine are." He said.
"I last saw her by this door. If you cant find her then we have to leave before they have this place surrounded." I said and Jack went in to the building.
I looked out and started to panic a little which is not what i need to right now.
A couple of minutes later Jack came out with Meggie.
"She's knocked out and probably have a broken leg or something." Jack said.
I looked at him.
"She needs to go to hospital." I said and looked around.
"We have company." I said quickly and quietly.
"Fuck we don't need this." Jack muttered.
"Why are you two down here this area is cordoned off to the public." The police officer said.
"We heard her shout so we helped her but when we got her out here she passed out." Jack said calmly.
"Do you know who she is?" He asked.
Jack looked at me I sighed.
"Meggie Gaskarth, she's my sister." I said.
The police officer went off.
"Look I don't think I'll be able to come for a few weeks okay. I have to show mother and dad that it shock me up and that I don't want to leave my room." I said and looked at Jack.
"Okay, but they wont be happy about it." Jack said.
"I dont care. Make sure you come and see me so i can at least stay sane." I smiled.
"I will." He smiled and got up and left.
Meg went to the hospital and I was kicked out when mother and dad got there so I went home.

I was sat outside on the balcony writing and playing my guitar when Jack showed up.
"Hey." He said and looked around the place.
"You don't have to worry. They are with Meggie." I said quietly.
Jack sat next to me.
"Why aren't you with them?" He asked and picked the book up and started to read what I had written.
"Let's just say me and mother and dad aren't on good terms anymore." I said and started to play the guitar a little louder than before.
I guess Jack worked out I didn't want to talk about it so he left it at that.
We stayed quiet for a while.

"Can you stay the night?" I asked as I didn't want to be on my own.
Jack looked at me.
"I understand if you can't or don't want to." I said quietly and looked down.
"I'll stay just because you have no one here." He said.
I smiled.
I got up and got hold of his hand and took him into my room.
"Wanna watch a film?" I asked and took my top and trousers off and put a pair of shorts on.
I threw a pair to Jack.
"I can't wear your clothes." He said quietly.
"I have stolen your Jacket for the last 3 weeks. You can wear my clothes. I don't care." I said and sat on the bed.
Jack smiled and took his clothes off and put a pair of shorts on.
I climbed into bed and Jack just stood there.
I moved and got hold his hand and gently pulled him onto the bed.
"You can sleep in my bed." I whispered.
"Haven't slept in a bed for a long time." He said quietly.
"Well now you can." I said.
Jack smiled.
I pulled Jack so he could get under the covers.
Jack got under the covers and I put a film on.
I moved and rested my head on his shoulder.
"If I fall asleep then you can carry on watching films just use this and choose whatever you want." I said quietly and got comfy.
Not long after I fell asleep.
