I was currently sitting on the tour bus of my best friend’s band. They had just got of stage and were now in the showers. My best friend and I have been best friends since the young age of ten and eleven, and I was now twenty-six and he was now twenty-seven. I sat on the lounge couch and watched some mindless videos on Youtube, on my computer. I heard the bus door open and I looked up when I heard the sounds of foot steps. I was my best friend standing there drying his hair with a towel, and was also shirtless.

“How many groupies try to touch you out there, Lex?” I asked with a knowing smirk.

“Way too many.” He chuckled.

“Man, you just gotta love your fans.” I laughed. He over to where I was sitting, and sat right next to me.

“They should know better by now. This body is for you only.” He said with a smirk as he grabbed my hand and ran it down his chest. I sent him a wink.

“Damn right it is.” We both bursted out laughing, not being able to hold it back anymore. This is how Alex and I acted. We acted like we were a couple, but where really best friends who have seen it all with each other. Hell, Alex and I even had a few drunken sex nights together, which we always seemed to land in each others bunks when we were drunk, so almost every night. Basically what we were, were friends-with-benefits. Sometimes when we are out at clubs, I would bring a random guy onto the bus and have meaningless sex with him. But, come to think of it, Alex has never brought a random girl onto the bus before. But it’s whatever, we may be best friends, but we live different lives. My thoughts were driven away by Jack, Zack, and Rian walking onto the bus.

“Did you guys have sex again?” Was the first thing that came out of Jack’s mouth.

“No.” Alex spoke for the both of us.

“But I wouldn’t mind if we did.” I said smirking, getting Alex to look over to me with a smirk on his lips as well.

“We all know you wouldn’t, Y/N.” Rian chuckled.

“We all know Alex wouldn’t mind, either. With his crush on-” Zack was cut off by Alex throwing his towel at his face.

“Alex has a crush?! Oh my gosh! This is amazing! Who is she? What’s she like? What’s her name? Do I know her? When can I meet-” Alex cut me off by putting his hand over my mouth.

“Damn you ask a lot of questions. But, too bad they will not be getting answered anytime soon. Now, I’m going to go and get ready so we can leave for the damn club.” Alex chuckled at the end as he walked away. It wasn’t a normal chuckle, it was like a awkward one, one that said ‘oh no, this can’t be happening right now.’ kind of chuckle. I ignored it and closed my laptop and put it on it’s charger as I got back to my bunk and grabbed a nice black dress, not too fancy, out of my suitcase and started to make my way to the bathroom. I knew Alex was in there getting dressed, so I just walked in. I shut the bathroom door behind me and turned to be face-to-face with him. “May I help you?” He asked with a amused look.

“Nope. Just need to get dressed. Now, continue getting ready, the sooner I get drunk, the sooner I can bring a random people on the bus to fuck.” I said with a smirk, knowing that he hates my life-style.

“Why can’t you just end up in my bunk instead.” He spoke with a wink as he put on a pair of skinny jeans.

“Alex, I have to admit, you are like, the best person to have sex with. You are amazing, and I’m not just saying that because I’m your best friend. I mean really, holy shit are you good. But, I kinda just want to find a random person, no-strings attached, y’know?”

“I understand.” He said, but his voice was a bit quieter as he looked away from me and put his shirt on. I had to admit to myself. The real reason I wanted to have sex with strangers, was a little bit more complex than what I told him. You see, I have been in love with Alex since I was sixteen, and he was seventeen. The more I had sex with him, the more in love I got with him. It’s been about two weeks since we really had done anything with each other, and that’s a good thing. I was pushing him away a bit, no matter how much it hurt on the inside. But the more I fell in love with him, the more heart broken I would be, knowing that he would never feel the same way about me.

Once everyone was ready to go to the club, we all walked out of the bus and went straight in, since we’re stopped out front of it, and were also on the VIP list. Like always when we got to a club, the first thing we all did was head straight to the bar and get shots of fireball. We got two shots each and then went out to the dance floor. I was dancing with Jack and Alex before someone caught my eye. I smirked at him as I saw he was looking over to me, and he sent me a wink.

“I’ll caught up with you guys later tonight. I believe I just found my prey for tonight.” I told Alex and Jack as I started to walk away. I couldn’t help but look into Alex’s eyes, and some-what she a look of hurt in them, but I just shrugged it off. I made my way over to the guy and started dancing with him. “I’m Y/N.”

“I’m Mike.” He said to me. Great, he had the name of a asshole, I just hope he’s not one.
We continued to dance with each other for what felt like forever, but was only about a hour. I grabbed onto his hand and started to pull him to the exit of the club. We exited the club and started walking to the bus, as I was giggling at some stupid joke he told. I was stopped as I ran into someone.

“Shit, sorry.” I said, then looked up at the face of the person. “Oh. Hey Lex. You’re not going back to the tour bus, yet. Are you?”

“I am.” He said looking at me.

“Well, you might not want to.” I said with a smirk as I nodded over to the Mike guy who was standing next to me.

“Well I am. And you are coming with me. He’s not coming.” Alex said as he took my hand in his and started pulling me. I broke from his grip and shot him a glare.

“What the fuck Alex?” I said as I crossed my arms over my chest.

“Please just come with me Y/N. I need to talk to you. It’s like, really important.” He said awkwardly as he rubbed the back of his neck. I let out a groan and spoke.

“Fine. But you better be able to have sex after this conversation, you know how I get when I’m sexually frustrated.”

“Agreed.” He said with a smirk. I turned to Mike and he looked very confused.

“Sorry dude. Looks like you're not getting lucky with me tonight. My best friend needs to talk to me. Later.” I said turned back to Alex as he took my hand again and we walked back to the bus. Once we were on the bus, I sat on one couch and Alex sat across from me. “Hurry up, and this better be good.”

“I’m in love with you.” He blurted out.

“What?” I asked without hesitation, hoping I heard him right, but most likely not.

“I said I’m in love with you, Y/N. I have been since we were teenagers.” He said, speaking casually now, probably feeling more comfortable since we talk about everything with each other.

“How come you never said anything?! I have been having meaningless sex with strangers to keep you out of my mind! I have been in love with you since I was sixteen!” I said raising my voice a bit, but not in a angry tone.

“What?” He said, sounding baffled.

“You heard what I said.” We both looked each other in the eyes and jumped at each other, attaching our lips to one another's. He pushed away from me and looked me in the eyes. “What’s wrong?”

“I wanted to ask you something first.”

“What’s up?”

“Will you be my girlfriend Y/N?”

“Yes, yes I will Alex.” I said with a smile. When the words let my mouth, Alex smiled and smashed his lips back onto mine as he picked me up and brought me to his bunk.
