Music flows with the light breeze in the meadow. The dressed up Lebanese man makes his way towards it, sometimes singing along as he goes. There she is. The girl is sitting on a blanket. Her brown hair blows in the breeze, and her outfit is the same white one as before. Jack goes over to her and sits down next to her. She turns her face away from him, but Jack isn’t having that this time. He needs to know what she looks like. Jack takes her chin gently into his hand and starts to move her head back to face him, but he doesn’t get to see it. He blinks just once, and the whole area changes.
The tall man is in a room that he has never seen before. Zombie and other Halloween things decorate the walls. Every movie by the TV is a horror film. Jack turns to the door to find that it is being opened. In walks a very short blond girl and another girl wearing a hood. He knows that this girl is the one that he needs to see. The shorter girl makes her way over to the black couch and sits down. The hooded girl, Selene, starts to make her way to the love seat. Jack is standing in between it and her, but she doesn’t notice. Instead of their bodies colliding, she goes right through the puppy eyed man.
Considering that Jack already knows that this is a dream and similar stuff has happened, this doesn’t faze him. He turns around back to the girl. For him, it’s almost like it’s in slow motion. Selene takes her hood off. Now he can finally see her face. Her eyes are hazel and surrounded by black eyeliner. Although it may be a little too much, he looks fine on her with the light brown eye shadow. The more that he looks at her eyes, the more he notices that she doesn’t have any eyelashes. At first he thinks that his eyes are playing tricks on him, but he really doesn’t see any. Now he can see why she wears so much. He also notices that there are some scabs on her face. Some of them are in plain sight because her make up had come off some, and he can kind of see others that are hidden under a lot of make up. Jack can kind of see why it took him this long to be able to see her face. She may be insecure about her face and the fact that she does this to herself.
Then Jack realizes something. This is the same girl that he saw at the concert. He wasn’t imagining things when he felt a connection between the two of them. The connection that he feels just looking at this girl is the same one that he felt during the concert. Jack smiles just thinking about how he finally knows who she really is. There is no mystery anymore. Maybe he can finally get some sleep, and never think of the matter again...
Wait. He can’t just do that. He can feel that this is not the end. He doesn’t know why, but he is actually happy about it too. Jack has this feeling that he wants to actually meet her and talk to her. He needs to help this girl be happy again. Although Jack doesn’t know how he’s going to do that, but he also knows that his dreams with help him with all of that.
When Jack wakes up, he’s smiling. He gets up and goes out to the front of the bus to get himself something to drink. Alex is sitting there, so the taller man goes over and sits across from him. Alex looks at him and raises one of his thick eyebrows.
“You look really happy?”
“That’s because I am.”
Alex’s eyes widened. “Were you able to actually sleep without some dream or vision of that girl?”
“Nope.”
“Then why are you so happy?”
“I know what she looks like now!”
“So does that mean that all of the dreams are over now?”
Jack shakes his head. “No. It’s only just started. It won’t go away unless I’m with her in person.”
“Well that probably won’t happen. For one, we don’t know where she is, and the other thing is that we’re going to be leaving for the UK soon.”
“Yeah, but I have to go see her.”
“Maybe you can find a way to video chat with her until after we find her and we get back.”
“What if I find her before we leave?”
“If you do, we can go visit her before we leave, and if she’s old enough and able to, you can take her with you. We could even arrange for something later too. Just know that we can’t stay here. We have to go on tour. Just think of all of the fans.”
“Yeah, I know. I’d hate myself if I let them down. I mean, if I can take it right now, I can take it for a while longer.”
“Yeah, and maybe it won’t be so bad if you start chatting with her online through video. Now that the secret is out, it shouldn’t be all that bad.”
“You’re probably right.”
“Anyway, I think I’m going to go to sleep myself.”
“I’m going to finish this and maybe stay up a little longer. So, Night.”
“Night.”
Jack smiles as he takes a sip. Alex is probably right. Now that the secret is known, there won’t be that much visions or dreams. Of course he still wants to see her, but maybe now he can finally get a full nights rest. All of a sudden out of nowhere Selene’s voice makes it’s way into Jack’s ear. He thought that it would lighten up, but now he knows. He covers his ears with his hand, but the song still continues. This isn’t just any song. It’s the song that she is recording right now. He can hear what’s she’s saying right now. That means...
Now he’s going to hear everything she says all of the time...
