Selene is having a terrible time trying to keep everything thats happening to her. She’s almost about ready to just scream it, but she knows that that would only result in getting made fun of even more. That leaves only one thing that she can do, tell her sister. Rose would keep it a secret from everyone, and she wouldn't judge her sister because of it.
Selene continues walking down the hallway with this thought in her mind when she falls over onto her face. She holds her nose as she gets up into a sitting position. Her eyes come in contact with the person responsible for this. It is none other than Becky.
Yeah, Selene is definitely going to tell her sister when she gets home.
When the older sister gets home, she follows her sister into her room. Of course, she makes sure to knock before entering since her sister hates it when people are in her room. Rose, however, can enter Selene’s room whenever she wants. After knocking, the shorter girl enters the room.
“Hey Rose, I need to tell you something,” Selene says as she makes her way over to her after shutting the door behind her.
“Ok.”
“Well, um, some time ago, I had found this book. I just had this feeling that I should pick it up, so I did. I found a wishing spell in it, so I cast it.”
“I know.”
“Wait. What? How do you know?”
“I was still awake, and the door was slightly open, so I peeked in your room.”
“Oh ok.”
“Continue.”
“Anyway, I’ve been having this feeling that someone’s been dreaming of me and watching me. It’s been going on ever since that night. I think... No, I know that this has to do with the spell that I cast.”
“What did you wish for? I didn’t watch long enough to find out.”
“I wished that I could be with Jack Barakat.”
“Of course you would wish for something like that.”
“Anyway, I keep getting this feeling.”
“And you think it’s because of this spell?”
“Yeah.”
“Well, I guess it could be. I mean, I may be atheist, but you always say that magick is because of the power of the mind, so I guess that it’s possible.”
“So you believe me?”
“Sure.”
“Good. I couldn’t keep that in any longer. You know how I am. Oh, don’t tell your friends about this. I mean, the only way that I’d ever let people know about this is if Jack just showed up at our school or something which would never happen. I can feel that he doesn’t know where I live anyway.”
“What do you think is going to happen though? I mean, do you think he’ll try to contact you? He did see you at the show.”
“Yeah, but I don’t think he knew what I look like. I know that we both felt something, but he seemed confused about it. If he knew that it was me, he wouldn’t have acted like that.”
“That makes sense. Um, how long are you going to keep this spell going?”
“I don’t know. I haven’t planned on it. I doubt that it’s causing too much harm, so I’ll leave it on.”
“Well just remember what they always say.”
“What’s that?”
“Be careful what you wish for.”
“That’s true. Anyway, I’m going to make another cover and maybe update another one of my stories. They’re all late since I haven’t had every day in the library to write. She hasn’t been in there, and the sub was at the computer.”
“Oh ok. I’m going to watch some videos on YouTube.”
Selene leaves the room and goes into her own. Once in there, she grabs her laptop and looks at the list of all the songs that she has been meaning to cover, but she starts to think about actually doing one of her own songs. This thought leaves her head when she remembers that she doesn’t have a band or any way to get the music for her song. The brunette would give anything to be in a band, but nobody plays any instruments in her area unless you count her, her mom, and her dad.
That reminds her that the day just happened to be Wednesday. She forgot that she’s going over to her dad’s today while talking to her sister. Selene looks at the time on her phone and realizes that she doesn’t have any time at all to even come up with a song, and sure enough, she hears her mom’s peek-a-pom barking. The brunette grabs her stuff and heads out into the kitchen to find her dad waiting for her.
That day, Selene practiced the song that she chose and created the bass line for one of her songs. If the wish really made Jack try to find her, there would be that chance that she will get to perform it for him.
Of course, when does something that cool actually happen to Selene.

Notes

Sorry this took so long and is so short. I started to actually write this last week, but just like in the story, I wasn't able to finish it while in the library last week. She may be out some this week too, which sucks because my other stores are late too.
Next time Jack's going to learn something else in a dream.
