“Are you sure that you’re ok to do the show?” Alex asks Jack, who looks like he’s going to pass out at any given minute.
“Yeah,” the Lebanese man sighs. “I’m going to drink a couple of Monsters before the show. I have this strong feeling that I should be awake and observant during this show.”
“Do you think Moon Rock is here?”
“I don’t know, but she might be. I really hope she is. I can’t take this lack of sleep and these visions anymore.”
“I hope so too. I can’t stand seeing you like this.”
“Anyway, I’m going to down some caffeine now.”
Jack walks over to where the drinks are and grabs his first can. It barely takes him anytime to down it, but he’s not awake enough, so he downs another and another. When he starts to feel all of the sugar, he stops and looks at the time, Pierce the Veil has just gone onstage, so he still has time. The skunk haired man sits down and closes his eyes. If she is here, he might see her in a dream and then be able to find her.
The lanky man was expecting to see something, but he doesn’t see anything. He’s just overcome with pain. It’s like he’s being bend over someone and a group of people are pushing in on him. He tries to push the people away, but they’re like a brick wall. Sound starts to overwhelm him. Screaming? Singing? Chanting? It’s a crowd at a concert, but not just any concert. It’s the show that’s going on right now. Slowly all of it starts to go away as a different voice comes through...
“Jack,” Alex says. “We’re going to be on soon. Jack, why are you crying?”
Sure enough, when Jack wiped his face, there were a couple of tears there. “I was dreaming about her. I could feel what she was feeling. She’s in the crowd right now.”
“But you didn’t see her face.”
“No, I didn’t.”
“Don’t worry about it. Maybe, you’ll recognize her if you see her.”
“Yeah maybe.”
Both men get the last touches done and make their way out when they get called out. They start the show off with the same song they always do, “Lost in Stereo”. Jack’s jumping around like he always has and doing his best to make sure that none of the fans know what’s actually happening to him. He goes over to the side of the stage, sits down, and reaches out to the crowd. The first girl that he holds onto her fingers has brunette hair with a beanie on top. As soon as their fingers touch, he doesn’t want to let go. A feeling overcomes him as if he’s met her before, but he doesn’t know where. He ends of letting go and grabbing others hands, just not as long, to make it seems like she’s just another fan in the crowd. He keeps his confusion hidden from everyone and continues to play.
After the show, he hopes that the girl had left him a note, but as soon as he sees them, he knows that she didn’t. She wasn’t able to. A sigh falls from his lips as he goes into his bunk to go to sleep. It takes him some time to decide if he really wants to try to sleep or not. Jack ends up going to sleep.
When he opens his eyes, he’s in the room that he had been in last time. Sleeping in the bed in front of him is Moon Rock, but her back is turned to him, and he can’t move like last time. Nothing is happening like last time though. It actually made him feel like a creeper, but he has no control over what’s happening. His vision starts to fade, and he can feel himself heading back, but before it all ends, he sees a name.
Selene Stone.
Jack gets up and rushes over to Alex who is in the front lounge. He grabs his hand and pulls him away from everyone. “I know her name,” the lanky man tells him as soon as there is no one around.
“What?”
“I saw her name. Her name is Selene Stone. Her stage name has the same meaning as her real name.”
“That’s great. We can look her up on facebook or something.”
“That’s not going to work.”
“Why not?”
“She doesn’t have one.”
“Does she have a twitter or something else.”
“No, her twitter is her stage name along with every other website that she uses which is mostly places to read fanfictions like mibba.com. I can see it in my head, but she wouldn’t message back to us. She’ll message about the stories, but she doesn’t let anyone know who she is. When I saw her before, she was crying and singing this depressing song. I think she’s bullied. No, I know that she’s bullied. She doesn’t want everyone to know that she’s Moon Rock. People would just make more fun of her.”
“Fucking assholes. She’s a good singer too. She shouldn’t be hiding it. She should be embracing it.”
“I’m just going to have to wait for the next clue because she isn’t going to talk to us with her stage name.”
“I guess so.”
Jack hopes that the next piece will be revealed soon. Of course, since it’s him, it probably is.

Notes

I'm so sorry for not updating. I know this chapter is short, but I'm either going to update this story later or my other late one later. When school starts up again at the end of this month, I'll be updating more regular. I help out in the library, so I always have time during school, and I'm copying all of my stories down into notebooks, so I can write when I have nothing to do in class. I'm also getting my writing mood back. I lost it for some reason all of July, and I want to update this one a couple of times before the normal week to catch it up.
