Selene sighs as she enters her room. She’s having one of those days where she just wishes that everything would just end. It’s like she’s been traveling to the edge and is now falling off. Of course the best way to say this to someone that hasn’t felt like this would be that it’s just not her day or she’s having a bad day. That’s what she always tells anyone that asks her. The only person that she actually tells is her sister and their friend, Anna.

The girl makes her way to her bed and sits down on the foot of it. Selene tries to keep everything in as she goes to grab her laptop, but she knows that that isn’t going to happen. Instead, she grabs her notebook out of the pocket of her jacket and a random pen off of the floor. As soon as the pen makes contact with the paper, she can hear a tune in her head. Her foot starts to tap to the rhythm and her lips move to try to find the right words that rhyme. Rhyming is her weakest skill when it comes to songwriting. It’s just another one of her flaws.

The thought of her flaws causes more tears to come from her eyes. She thought that she cried them all out before, but it turns out that her eyes still have enough liquid. By the time that she’s done, she’ll probably have to put drops in her eyes. Dry contacts are one of the most annoying things there is.

“Why does this always happen to me?” she sobs in a tune. “Why can’t I be normal and pretty? I’m useless, pathetic. No one will ever get me. No one will ever see that they are slowly killing me. I’m useless, pathetic. Don’t tell me twice because I know. I’ve already taken that blow, but every new one breaks me even more.”

All of a sudden a voice comes out of nowhere. “Please don’t cry.”

Selene stops everything and looks at the foot of the bed, but before her head turns into view of it, it feels like whatever was there is now gone. It’s a known fact that she’s gotten EVPs in her house before, but there has never been any in her room and she has never been able to hear anything without it being on a recorder.

The teenager starts to think of how the voice actually sounded. She has recorded two voices in her house before. One was male, and the other was female. Although the voice that she just heard was a male voice it wasn’t as deep as the one that she has caught on her recorder. This voice actually sounded like... No, it couldn’t be, but it did sound like him.

Selene puts her notebook down and goes over to get her bass. She knows that playing and singing will help her out. She shouldn’t dwell on all of the negative things that happen. She needs to focus on the positive. Besides, she’s going to get to see her favorite band tomorrow, and she has another concert to go to on the following day. Selene has been waiting for this weekend every since she got the tickets.

The next day, energy flows through her veins. Finally, she’s going to get to see her favorite band. She pulls out her coral “BONER” shirt and her dark grey skinnies and gets dressed. Her sister is already dressed and talking to their friend Anna, who stayed the night. Once Selene is dressed, she pulls out her makeup and cakes her face in powder to cover up her scabs and scars. It’s the only way to make her look as decent as she can. She puts on some metallic pink, than orange, and then a little bit more pink in order to create the color of her shirt. Once this is done, she put on some eyeliner and mascara. At least it looks like she has all of her eyelashes now. The last things she does is put her black beanie on her head, and put her socks and neon green vans on.

The ride to the other state takes a few hours, but it goes by quickly because of her ipod. The wait for her early entry sees to go by because she talks a little bit with a girl that she knows from mibba. Of course, she’s Selene though. That means that someone has to go wrong. That something is the fact that they aren’t allowed to take anything in with them except for wallets and phones. She ends up having to call her mom and have her take all of their stuff in the car. It’s nice that her mom, sister, and friend got to skip the line, but it sucks because she didn’t get in early. The doors actually opened when she was about to get in for early anyway. The worst thing about that though is that she made a plushie for Jack. It was made with a cat plushie and a bear plushie, so it’s half bear and half cat. Inside the stomach held a letter about how much ATL has done for her, and the fact that she thinks she knows what’s happening to Jack. She even left her phone number and Twitter name.

When the show finally starts, she’s in the front by the speakers on the side that Jack stands on. It was the closest that she could get. Her mom is right next to her, and Rose and Anna are behind her. Rose is happy after she sees Mayday Parade, since she came to see them. Anna is happy when she gets to meet Josh from You Me at Six and gets a picture of him making a derp face. The only ones in the crowd out of the four is Selene and her mom, and they’re hating every second of it.

Pierce the Veil in currently on, and Selene and her mom are being squashed to death by Jaime fangirls. Her mom has her arm around her, so she doesn’t get hit in the ribs every two seconds. Selene is leaning onto her mom’s shoulders in a very uncomfortable way and is having a hard time breathing. When a few tears slip down her face, she can’t help it. She’s in pain, and this is suppose to be one of the best days ever.

When Pierce the Veil finally leave, a bunch of the fangirls have the security guards take them out of the crowd. Finally, Selene’s favorite band is coming on. She wipes the tears away and focuses on the way that they are being introduced. She can’t help but laugh at every sentence that describes them. She laughs the hardest when Rian being a potato is mentioned.

The energy of the show takes all of the sadness of the last performence away. She dances along to the beat and sings her heart out. One thing in particular makes up for everything. She gets to touch Jack’s hand. Her mom didn’t even know that she had until she tells her when. When made it even better was that he held hers the longest. Selene was able to feel something during that time, and she swears that he felt it too because he was looking right at her during it.

When the show finally ends, she buys almost one of everything. She just doesn’t get the tank top and the jacket. The jacket is almost like the one that she has at home, and she hates tank tops. After everything that has happened today, she can’t help but smile. Her day was almost ruined, but it ended up being one of the greatest days of her life. Of course she is still upset because she was unable to throw the plushie at Jack, but she has this feeling in the pit of her stomach that she’ll be able to see him again very soon.

Selene gets home late. They had to drop Anna off at her house on the way home and stop at McDonalds long before they got home so they all would have time to eat. Selene finds herself going to sleep as soon as she hits the pillow of her bed. Before, she goes to sleep, she feels like someone is watching her. She has this feeling that someone was dreaming about her earlier as well. Selene has no idea what this means, but she has a feeling that it has something to do with the spell that she had cast. Every weird thing that she feels she thinks comes from the spell because it probably is. Actually, she knows it is. It’s just thought she doesn’t want to believe it because, well, she’s Selene. Since when is something like a spell actually working going to happen to her. The only thing that she doesn’t know at this point is...

I'm sorry this is so late. I've been tired. It seems that all fo my staying up late is finally getting to me. I was going to update this last night, but I fell asleep when I got home from the family reunion. At 8, I didn't want to get up to go to my dad's, so I went back to sleep at my nana's. I got up at 12 today. I sleep a lot when I'm not staying up. My dad thinks I'm a vampire because I normally sleep during the day.
Anyway, sorry for this being late. This chapter is actually what happened to me when I went to go see them in April. The only difference would be the feeling and anything else that deals with the spell. Next chapter, Jack is finally going to get to see her face! Hope you like the story so far!
