Jack Barakat Imagines

Rooftop Love

Warning: alcohol mention

Your POV

Here I was on the top of Jack’s house. He didn’t know I was here. He would soon because I brought baby Jack with me. Baby Jack as in Jack Daniels. I came up here to think a lot. Jack didn’t know I was up here all the time. Sometimes he did, it just depended on whether or not I wanted him to know.

My roof wasn’t a good roof to sit on. For one thing, I couldn’t get to it. For another, Jack’s felt better. That sounds wrong, let me explain.

Jack is my very best friend. We’ve been really tight since as long as I can remember. When I got lonely or sad I came up here to think. Now I’m up here to drink. I didn’t intend to invite him up here, but I guess my drunk mind craved him.

I had about four shots in a row, and it was really starting to hit me, so I decided to text Jack, asking him to come up with me. He probably was really confused, but this isn’t the first time I’ve done this. I was staring out into the neighborhood scrolling through my phone when Jack saw me.

“Y/N, why are you on my roof,” he smirked. I looked over to where he was and he was looking at me from his balcony. “More importantly, how did you get there?”

“That’s not important,” I slurred, rolling over to face him. “Now get up here and join me.”

“You’re already drunk? How the fuck did you already get that drunk, you’re such a lightweight.” He giggled to himself as he pulled him up to where I was. I couldn’t help but stare. The way his arms flexed when they brought his weight up to where I was. All I wanted was to be held by those arms.

That’s the alcohol talking, Jack is my best friend.

“Here, give me some,” Jack reached for my bottle that I was holding.

“No, this is the only Jack that will ever love me,” I stuck out my tongue at him.

“What are you talking about , Y/N of course I love you.”

“Yeah but baby Jack loves me more.” I started to giggle, and he grabbed a hold of the bottle.

“Baby Jack? Really?” He chuckled for a bit, and drank some as I watched. “You didn’t bring any shot glasses did you?”

“Of course I didn’t, I’m on a fucking roof.”

“Why the hell are you on my roof anyway?” He took a glance at me, and my heart skipped. Probably because of the alcohol.

“Sometimes I go here when I want to think.”

“Don’t you have your own roof.”

“Yeah, but yours is better.”

“How?” He bit his lip and pushed his hair back. My eyes wandered around his face until they lingered on his lips. Probably just wanted to know if he liked the alcohol.

“Cuz it’s yours,” I mumbled. Jack was sipping the baby jack and I was looking at anywhere but him. If I did look at him, I’d probably stare. I didn’t want to stare.

“What do you mean?” He was trying to get me to look at him, but all I could do was stare at my feet as if they had just themselves won the Nobel Prize. If only they had.

“Your neighborhood is quiet, I like it.”

“Y/N?” I brought my head up to glance at him, but he held my gaze for longer than intended. His hair fell over his face, and I had an urge to wrap my fingers in it. Hoy Jesus, he was kissable. He scooted closer to me and my breath hitched in my throat. I was starting to feel nervous. The alcohol probably made it happen. “Are you sure that’s the only reason?”

The smell of Jack was on his breath and it made me giggle because Jack smelled like Jack and it was just too funny for my drunk brain not to laugh at.

“What’s so funny?” he smiled while I continued to giggle uncontrollably.

“You smell like Jack.” He cracked a smile, but he obviously didn’t find it as funny as I was. My stomach was starting to hurt from laughing too much.

“I probably taste like Jack too,” he whispered as his hand wandered over to my thigh and his face got increasingly close to mine. “Wanna find out?”

“Wha-” before I could really say anything, Jack’s lips were on mine, and before I could process what I was even doing, I kissed back automatically. Maybe it was the alcohol, but it felt right, Jack felt right.

Our lips were moving together, and I wanted more. I licked his lip lightly, not wanting to force anything, but it seemed like he wanted it, because next thing I knew his tongue was in my mouth. We were now not innocently kissing, but full on making out. With Jack’s taste in my mouth, I don’t think I wanted another drop of alcohol, he was all I really needed.

My hands were in his black hair, and I made a little note to myself saying that he straightened it today. I’ve felt his hair before, but not like this. It was soft to the touch, and I constantly wanted more. His hands were wandering my body, trying to decide on whether or not to keep them on my boobs or my thighs, so he settled on both.

When the taste of baby Jack came in my mouth I started to think if he really wanted this. I could just be a drunk fuck. Or I could be a drunken mistake. He didn’t really want me. I didn’t want him, it was the alcohol that made us want each other.

I couldn’t stop kissing him though. I needed him here with me for some reason. It felt right to be with him, so I climbed in his lap, and straddled him. His boner was rubbing against me, and it was making me want him so much more. I didn’t want to go further than kissing, but jesus christ did he make it hard to control myself.

Jack’s lips left mine and were now trailing down my neck. He bit into a place causing a moan to escape my lips. I flipped my hair over so he could get better access, and he was sucking up and down, leaving hickeys all over me.

I nibbled on his neck, but didn’t leave any obvious marks. His lips found mine again, and his hands were making their way under my shirt.

He pulled away from me, slightly out of breath. “Come with me,” he groaned in a raspy voice. I happily complied and followed him into his room. I flopped down, and he flopped next to me. bringing me up with him to his pillows. He was hovering over me, giving me kisses up and down my jawline. I let little noises escape my lips, and he was enjoying it.

We flipped over, and now I was on top. Our mouths still exploring each others, and I was really not wanting to stop. I started to get tired, and our mouths weren’t moving as much. The kisses became longer and with less tongue. My body weight was falling into him until we stopped kissing, and I laid my head to rest on his chest.

“Goodnight love,” I heard a voice say. Probably the alcohol.

When I awoke, it was bright outside and I still was lying on Jack. I remembered most of the events from the night before, but not all. I lifted my head from Jack’s chest and wriggled myself out of his grasp, making sure he was still asleep. I started to pick up my things when I hear Jack speak.

“Where are you going?” he asked me, his head propped up, and his brown eyes staring into mine.

“Uh, out?”

“Why?”

“Cuz this wasn’t supposed to happen, Jack. We were both drunk last night and things just got out of hand. It was just the alcohol.”

His expression changed to slightly less amused, but he kept a small smile on his face. “I was a lot less drunk than you were.”

“Yeah, but still drunk.”

“Not by much.”

“So then why’d you do it?”

He didn’t say anything for a bit, but his smile fell, and was replaced with a confused grimace. “Do what?”

“You know.. Me.”

“Come here,” he whispered. I sighed and did as he was told. I sat on the bed and gazed at his figure. He must have changed last night or something, because now he’s in his boxers, and I don’t remember him being like that last night.

“Y/N..” he starts, and I start to get nervous. He pats the bed to show that he wants me to lay with him, so I do. I rest my head on his bare chest and sigh. The feelings were coming back from last night, and the way I fit in his arms made me swoon. “There’s no easy way to say this.”

His grip on me gets tighter, and now he’s fiddling with my hair. “I’ll just come right out with it okay?” I nod silently, not wanting to miss a minute of his voice, because let’s be honest, his voice is super sexy in the morning. “You want to know why I kissed you last night and everything even though I wasn’t all that drunk?” I nod again. “To make it short, it’s because I love you.”

My head whips around to him, and instead of leaning into him, I’m now sitting up, looking at him full on. “What?”

“I knew I shouldn’t have said anything,” he cursed himself. “It’s just Alex told me it was now or never and I didn’t want anything to hold us back. Could you feel it too?”

I knew what he was talking about. His words probably didn’t make sense, but his eyes did. I did feel it. “For lack of a better term, was it the spark?” I asked him, my voice low, not wanting to ease the tension because it was what I wanted. It was a much needed tension.

“You felt it too?” His eyes lit up as he gazed in mine. “Y/N, I could feel the tension between us, and I knew that I loved you. I do love you. Do you feel the same?”

I thought for a moment. It made sense if I loved him. Other guys never worked out, the feeling I got when we kissed, whenever he touched me. If he touched me in a friendly way, it’d still leave a feeling in me. I guess it could be described as love. I hadn’t ever thought about it that way. Did I love my best friend?

I guess my silence was worrying him because the more I thought the more Jack’s face fell. I had to give him an answer. “Yeah, I think I do love you.”

His face lit up, and he pulled me close to him. “Oh thank god.” I rested my head back into him and nuzzled up close. He kissed the top of my head, and the same feeling last night stayed. I was 100% sober. I guess it wasn’t the alcohol after all.
