Wendy's POV

"I'm sorry Lex, I didn't mean to snap," I whispered. Fuck, I just called him Lex. I hope he doesn't hate me for it, it just slipped out.

"It's okay princess," He said kissing my forehead and walking away. Alex just called me princess and kissed my forehead. What? Why? I watched as Alex made his way back over to my sister and the others. Once he was back over there talking to them, I decided I better go over there as well. Just in case something happened to Kara. I tried to tell myself that as I walked over slowly to them. Truth was, I really just wanted to be around Kara and the guys. Maybe Kara was right, maybe they are nice guys. I should open up more, start talking some more, that way they don't think I'm still trying to push them away.

"You okay Kara?" I asked quietly as I walked up next to her.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Jack, Zack, and Rian were just talking to me about how they all of them are going to the Green Day concert next week." Kara said with a smile.

"That's awesome. Green Day's pretty cool." I said looking up at the boys with a small smile.

"Don't even say that the are 'pretty cool'. They are your favorite band and you know it." Kara said with a laugh.

"Why do you think I said they are pretty cool?" I asked with a smirk. I watched as Kara shook her head and laughed.

"Green Day is really your favorite band?" Alex asked looking at me curiously.

"Yeah. Always have been. Pretty sure they always will be as well." I said with a small laugh as I looked back down at the ground, as I felt the heat in my cheeks rise.

"That's awesome. Green Day are my favorite as well." I could hear the smile on Alex's face. I heard my phone go off in my pocket, playing Good Riddance by Green Day. I took my phone out and look at the message that was just sent to me.

"Looks like she wasn't lying about liking Green Day." I heard Rian chuckle.

"I could never lie about something like that." I said as I clicked on the message, seeing it was from a number I didn't know.

It read:

Hello Wendy. Miss me? I bet you do. I miss you. You're just lucky that guy came when he did, or you would be dead by now. As well as your little sister Kara. By the way, you look really nice in those skinny jeans. Never thought you would be okay in public so soon, mostly after a beating like that. You may be around those guys right now. But just wait. I'll get what I want. And what I want is you. Have a nice talk with your friends my love.

My eyes went wide at the message. I dropped my phone and dropped to the ground, looking around everywhere.

"Wendy? Sis, what's wrong?" Kara asked sitting down next to me. I ignored her and just kept looking around, trying to find him. He was watching us. He knew what I was wearing. He's here.

"Wendy?" Alex asked sitting down on the other side of me. I shook my head quickly and my eyes landed back on my phone. I watched as Kara picked up my phone.

"Kara. No. Give me that." I said trying to grab it from her, but she stood up and started reading the message.

"Kara. Please. Don't read that.." I said as I felt a tear trail down my cheek. I felt a hand on my arm and I quickly moved away. I looked over and saw it was Alex.

"Sorry." I muttered looking down. I heard Kara let out a gasp. I looked up and saw she was turning around looking everywhere.

"What's going on?" Zack spoke up.

"I..it's n..nothing...." I stuttered out.

"This is not nothing Wendy! He's watching you! He's watching me! He's watching both of us!" Kara shouted as she dropped my phone on the ground and I saw a few tears leave her eyes. I jumped up from the ground as quick as I could and rushed over to her, bringing her into a tight hug.

"Shh. Calm down Kara. I'm not letting him touch you. Just calm down." I whispered to her. I saw a hand on my phone and saw it being picked up, I looked up and saw it was Alex who picked it up. He gave me a questioningly look, asking if he could read it. I nodded my head slowly and he looked at it. I held Kara closer to me, if that was even possible.

"Wendy. Is this Nate, as in the guy from yesterday?" Alex asked looking up at me with wide eyes.

"That would be him..." I said softly as I felt Kara hide her face in the crook of my neck.

"Fuck." I heard Alex mutter.

"Can someone please tell us what the fuck it going on?" Jack asked confused. I watched as Alex brought the phone over to the guys and handed it to Rian so he could show the others. He walked back over to Kara and I and put his arms around us.

"I'm not going to let him get to you guys. He has to go through me first." Alex said softly.

"Yeah, same here." I heard Zack speak up as he walked over to us as well.

"Count me in." Rian said as he approached us.

"You think I'm going to pass up a chance to kick someone's ass?" I could hear the smirk in his voice. Alex removed his arms from around us, and Kara pulled out of my embrace. I whipped my eyes, from tears I didn't even knew I had. I looked up quickly when I heard my phone go off again. I saw it was in Rian's hand. I looked up to him.

"Can I have my phone please?" I asked quietly. He nodded his head and handed it back to me. I turned on the screen and saw it was a message from the same number. Nate's new number.

It read:
Awe, how cute. They think they can protect you. I'll be nice and let them have Kara. But your mine. And only mine. ;) See you soon love.

I felt my whole body start to shake as I finished reading it.

"Kara, stay with the boys. I'm going home. He will follow me. I'm not putting you in danger." I spoke as I started to walk away without letting her answer. I felt a hand grab my arm. I turned around and saw Alex had a hold of me.

"Please let me go. I'm not putting Kara in danger. And if I stay here it will put you all in danger. I'm not letting that happen. I need you guys to watch over Kara. Please." I said, breaking down as I finished. Alex walked up to me and put his arms around my waist, just holding me as I cried. I was timid at first, being so close him. I relaxed after I felt his grip tighten, pulling me closer. I buried my face in his chest and just cried.

"Your not going anywhere without me." He whispered into my ear. I shook my head and pulled away.

"Please Alex. Just make sure nothing happens to Kara." I spoke as I tried to walk away again.

"Wendy. Like I just said. You're not going anywhere without me. Not when he is around. I'm not going to let anything happen to you. Nor will we let him get to Kara." He said pulling me back to him. I felt smaller arms wrap around my waist, and I looked over and saw it was Kara. I put my arms around her small frame and nodded my head slowly.

"Fine Alex. But Kara and I have to get home. It's more danger out here then there." I said softly.

"Can they come to? Please Wendy?" Kara asked pulling out of my embrace again. I looked over to the four boys who were standing off to the side of us.

"You guys wanna come over? Watch some movies or something?" I asked awkwardly. I watched as all there faces lit up and nodded their heads. The boys walked over to us, and I took Kara's hand in mine and we all walked down the road and over a few streets to our house.

"Okay guys, here the popcorn. And I don't care if you like it or not, we are watching Saw. Saw is my life." I said putting the popcorn on the table and walking over to the DVD player and putting in the first Saw movie.

"I fucking love Saw." Alex chimed. I looked over at him and gave him a smile.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah. It's my favorite movie." He said returning my smile. I walked back over to the couch, and sat in between Alex and Kara. Rian, Zack, and Jack, were all on the other couch, digging into their bowl of popcorn. I put Alex, Kara, and my bowl on my lap, that way we could all reach it.

"Okay Kara. Go ahead and press play." I said giving her a smile. To be honest, I have never felt this comfortable around guys before. Something about them just made me feel like they really care about our safety, even if we only met a few days ago. Kara pressed play on the movie and it started up. I reached in the bowl of popcorn and took a couple on pieces and put them in my mouth.

"So, about that number..." Alex whispered in my ear. I looked up at him with a small smirk and a chuckle. I handed him my phone, and he handed me his. I typed in my number and he typed his in my phone. We handed each other our phones back and I put mine in my pocket.

"Thank you." Alex whispered in my ear. Making me laugh a bit. We continued to watch the movie in silence. I heard Alex yawn, and next thing I knew, his arm was around my shoulders. This kid did not just use the old yawn-arm around the shoulder move. I looked up at him and glared at him.

"You did not just use that old move." I whispered to him, making sure only him and I could hear.

"I have no clue what you're talking about." Alex said sending me a wink. I shook my head and let out a small laugh. We watched the rest of the movie, and once it came to a end, Alex removed his arm from my shoulders.

"So, I was thinking." Alex started.

"That can't be good." Rian laughed.

"Fuck you Dawson." Alex laughed. "Anyways. Wendy, Kara, we have two extra tickets to the Green Day concert next week, do you guys wanna come with us?" Alex asked turning so he was facing us.

"Yes! Yes! Oh my gosh yes!" Kara shouted out.

"Kara. Calm down." I said putting my hands on her shoulders, laughing at her. Once she was calmed down I turned around to Alex.

"Sorry Alex. We really appreciate it, but we can't take your ticket, you guys paid for them." I said with a smile as I got up and grabbed, the now empty, popcorn bowl and walked into the kitchen. I heard footsteps following me. I didn't look around, thinking it was Kara.

"Please come with us." I heard Alex speak. I put the bowl in the sink and turn around to face him.

"Like I said. It's not right." I said grabbing a bottle of water. "Want one?" I asked holding one out to him. He took it and said thank you.

"I don't care if you don't think it's right. You guys are coming with us." He said with a smirk.

"Alex-" He cut me off.

"No. You're coming. And so it Kara." He said turning around and walking out of the kitchen, not letting me speak. I let out a sigh and walked out of the kitchen and back into the living room.

"Well Kara, looks like we are going to Green Day next week. Since I'm not allowed to say no." I said walking over to the couch and sitting back down, in between Alex and Kara again.

"Damn right you're not allowed to say no." Alex chuckled.

"Yes! This is so awesome! Yes Yes Yes!" Kara shouted out as she jumped off the couch and started jumping around.

"Kara, what am I ever going to do with you?" I asked shaking me head with a smile.

"Well, you could buy me more band merch." She said smirking at me as she stopped jumping around.

"Good call. I could use some more as well. We will go to the mall tomorrow." I said smiling up at her.

"Yes! Green Day and band merch! This can't get any better!" She said jumping around again. We all laughed.

"Okay Kara, calm down. It's late. We should be getting to sleep." I said standing up. "You guys want a ride home?" I asked looking at the boys.

"Were not leaving." Alex said giving me a wired look. "Like I said, you're not going anywhere without me." I sighed and face palmed.

"My Mom gets off work at noon tomorrow, she works crazy hours. You guys can sleep down here I guess. Kara, run and get the boys some blakets and pillows please?" I said turning around to meet a happy Kara jumping around still. She nodded her head quickly and ran off upstairs.

"She always like that when she gets to go to concerts?" Rian asked.

"Oh, trust me, wait till we get to the concert." I said, laughing, thinking about the last concert we went to together.

"I swear, she's like a mini girl version of Jack." Zack laughed with a shake of his head.

"It's funny because it's true." Jack said with a smile.

"That scares me a bit." I said thinking about the stuff that Kara does. I don't think I can handle two of her. And this one was in a older boy form, pretty scary. I heard footsteps on the stairs and saw Kara trying her best not to drop the blankets and pillows as she walked down the stairs. I shook my head with a smile and walked over to her and took half of the stuff she was carrying. She smiled at me and we walked over to the couch and placed the blankets on the couch.

"Here you guys go. Kara, go on upstairs and get ready for bed. See you in the morning. Love you." I said kissing her forehead and walking as she walked up the stairs, once she disappeared I heard her door shut, showing she was in her room.

"You really care about her don't ya?" Alex spoke when I looked back at them.

"Yep. She's my little sister, I basically raised her., with our family being so hectic and everything." I said giving a small smile. "Anyways, my room is just upstairs, down the left hall, and it's the last door. Just knock if you guys need anything. Night." I said turning around to go up the stairs.

"Night Wendy." I heard the smile on Alex's face.

"Night." Zack, Rian, and Jack said at the same time. I got in my room and shut the door behind me, keeping it unlocked. I walked over to my closet and grabbed some night clothes and put them on. I turned out the light and pulled my phone in the charger as I looked at the time. 12:38am. I climbed under my covers and drifted off to sleep.

I heard a knock on my door, and I let out a groan, as I heard another knock. I pressed a button on my phone to make it light up to see the time. 3:49am. I let out another groan.

"Come in." I said, just loud enough that the person on the other side could hear. I heard my door open and close again.

"Hey sleepy head." I heard the voice of non-other than Alex saw.

"What is it Alex? I asked rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.

"Jack kicked me off the couch. And wouldn't let me back on. Can I sleep up here?" He asked sounding hopeful. I sighed.

"Fine. But if you take all the covers in the middle of the night, I will do what Jack did and push you off." I said as I reached over to the over side of my bed and pulled the covers up so Alex could get in.

"I understand." He said with a chuckle and climbed into the bed with me.

"There, now go to sleep." I said turning around so I was facing the other way. I felt his arm fall over my waist. I tensed a bit at the unexpected movement. I relaxed after a minute, and by the way Alex pulled me a bit closer to him, I could tell he did as well.
