Sacrifice

Jacks POV

I suddenly went from sad to angry.
I took my last mouthful of whiskey and smashed it onto the floor.
I watched the glass fly all over the place.
I went over to the draws and got a knife.
I slid down the draws and sat on the floor.
I put the knife onto my skin, I was just about to drag it across my skin when I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Don't do this Jack, let me have some of it." Alex said softly. Joining me onto the floor.
"Have some what?" I asked confused.
" I know your a Spirit user and I'm a Shadow-kiss you can give me a little of your Spirit. It'll help you Jack." He said just as softly.
"I don't know how to." I said weakly.
Alex was looking at me when I felt something just disappear.
"I got your back Jack." He said as he got up and kissed the top of his head.
"Can I have the knife?" He asked holding his hand out. I put the knife into his hand and he took it away.
He started to clean the mess I made. He cleaned up quickly and he came back to me.
He handed me his hand and I took it and he helped me up. Well I fell back down Alex manage to support himself on the counter.
" Come on, you need sleep." Alex said managing to get me onto my feet and helping me to walk and took me too the sofa.
" There you go, sleep it off you'll feel better." Alex said softly and left me to go to sleep.

Alex's POV

I can't believe he was about to hurt himself like that.
Im glad I got him to stop.
Jack is asleep on the sofa while I was in the kitchen finishing cleaning the mess.
"You did well." Hannah said walking into the room.
"But remember what I said Alex." She said with warning tone to her soft voice.
" I will don't worry." I said going back to what I was doing.
"Its late, I've already spoken to Oli you can stay here tonight if you like." She smiled.
" Yes thank you, I don't want to leave Jack in this state." I said with a sad smile.
Oli came into the room with some candles and put them down and lit them using his gift of Fire. I just stared in shock.
"You'll get used it, especially with Jack." He chuckled and walked over to Hannah and hugged her from behind.
"What do you mean?" I asked standing up with the rest of the broken glass.
"Here I'll take this, Oli you explain this one since I always do the explaining round here." Hannah said running over to me and took the rubbish and ran out the room.
"Come on." He said walking out the room.
I followed behind.
"Jack is something different. Yeah he has Spirit but what he can do with it always amazes me. Like healing things it so cool but creepy at the same time, he's ability to walk in peoples dreams, its creepy as fuck to start of with but its pretty cool, he's ability to being you back from the dead. He is so different compared to other Spirit users we know, but with this he's also completely crazy, but that's because of the Spirit. Jack can use Spirit without even knowing, you have to try and help with this Alex." With that Oli got up and left.
I don't know what to make of Oli he really odd, but so is Hannah really, but their really nice.

I went into the sitting room to find Jack sat up looking like he was about to get up.
"Easy there Jack, your fucked out your face, lie back down." I said as I walked over to him.
"Only if you stay." He slurred.
I smiled.
"I'll stay." I said as I helped Jack lie back down and cover him in blankets.
I sat on the floor next to the sofa. Jacks hand fell over the side. I picked it up and put it back where it would be comfy.

Hannah came in with blankets.
" Since sleeping beauty here stole the ones from the sofa so here's some blankets and pillows since he also stole them. You can sleep in one of the chairs if you like." Hannah said quietly not wanting to wake Jack.
"I'll stay next to him for the night he seems to be really down." I said looking at Jack.
"That will be the Spirit, you have alot learn about Jack." She said and went upstairs.
" Night Alex."
"Night."

I was pulled into one of Jacks nightmares it was the same one as before, but it was different.
The person was running and there was people catching up with them with pitchforks and flames. They nearly caught him but he hid in the trees and moved slowly.
I was pulled from it by Jack screaming.
"Jack wake up." I said sleepily and began to shake him.
He didnt wake up
"Jack wake up!" I said louder.
He woke up as flew into my arms knocking me off balance.
"Its okay I have you." I said rubbing his back.
Jack just cried harder.
I heard a something from the stairs my head snapped up to see Oli in just his pants, he has loads of tattoos, I like them.
"What happened?" He asked sleepily rubbing his eyes.
"Jack had a nightmare." I said.
"Oh, you okay down here?" He asked looking like he was ready to fall back asleep.
" Yeah, you go back to bed." I said.
"Cool, night" Oli said turning round and slowly walking up the stairs like a zombie.
" You okay Jack?" I asked after he went quiet.
I felt him nod his head.
" Do you want to get back on the sofa and go back to sleep?" I asked as I really want to go back to sleep.
But Jack shook his head.
"Well how about the sofa part as its not very comfy sat like this, for you yes, but not for me." I said.
Jack moved off me and went to sit on the sofa.
I stayed on the floor.
"You can get up here as well." Jack said looking at me.
"Move over then I will." I said falling back asleep.
I felt myself being picked up and put down on the sofa and being covered by blankets.
"Sleep well Alex." Jack said quietly and kissed the top of my head.
