Sacrifice

Alex's POV

Since i dont do running i was walking pretty fast back to my house.
They're all freaks.
The girl Hannah, is more of the freak than any of them.
That Oli dude has anger issues, he needs them sorted it.

I got home and went back to bed and fell asleep.
I got a sudden emotion of shock rush through me.
For fuck sake.
But it soon went and I went back to sleep.
I didn't wake up until the next morning at 6 15.
Ugggh work in and hour and I'm not going to be late for once.
I got up and got dressed and slowly walked to work.
By the time I got the Alec was opening up.

"Hey Alec." I said walking in the door.
"Hey Alex, there was a person looking for you yesterday and I sent them your way did they find you?" Alec asked.
"Yes they did." I said trying to spend happy but Alec could tell it was forced.
"Who was it?" He asked,
"Some crazy dude." I chuckled and sorted myself out for and shit day in hell.

The day was like nor uneventful. That was until Jack walked in.
"What the fuck do you want?" I growled.
"What a nice way to greet a customer, I'll give you 10 out of 10 for the customer service!" Jack said sarcastic.
I just stared at him.
" Alec cover for me !" I shouted at Alec.
"Sure, go sort your boyfriend troubles!" He shouted back.
I just flipped him off about the boyfriend part.

We went to the back.
"Jack what the fucking hell do you want!" I said to Jack.
"You need to come with me." Jack said softly.
I felt something tingle through my body but not knowing what it is.
I was stubborn so i completely ignored it.
"Not until you tell me what the fuck you what!" I said loudly getting angry.
" Hannah need to see you." Jack said.
"I'm not going back there!" I said refusing to move.
" Don't make me do this." Jack said in a warning voice. Rubbing the said of his head.
"Do what?" I challenged. Staring hard are Jack.
"This." He just simply said and he bent down and threw me over his shoulder.
" Jack! Put me fucking down!" I shouted and hitting his back.
But he just ignored me and walked through the shop with me over his shoulder.
"Jack for fuck sake put me down!" I carried on shouting and hitting him until we got to Oli's and Hannah's.

"Look who I got!" Jack said and threw me down onto the sofa.
I got off the sofa and stormed over to Jack shouting,
"What the actual fuck Jack! I might be fucking fired from your fucking stunt you just fucking pulled!"
"And I'm not fucking trash! You don't have to fucking throw me!" I carried on shouting.
" Alex calm down." Jack said softly. I felt the tingling feeling coming back but I was too mad so I ignored it and carried on shouting. Hannah and Oli had joined us at this point but I was on a role and nothing was going to stop me.
"Also I don't like it when people give me the fucking look to kill, yeah I fucking talking to you! Also I don't like people in my fucking space okay! My space no one comes into my space. " I carried on shouting.
"I also don't like being fucking stalked while I'm bloody working! And I don't like people asking where I live, what am I too you? Hmm" I said my piece and shut up.

"Thank fuck he's over his temper tantrum." Oli said rolling his eyes.
"Oli your not helping matters!" Hannah said elbowing him hard.
"Jack he's you bloody mate...." I stopped Oli from talking.
"I'm not his mate! I am not anyone's mate!" I growled.
I felt a rush of hurt and sadness wash all over me.
I looked up to Jack and could see the hurt and sadness over his face.
With that Jack left the room.
"Oli go and see if Jack is okay and I'll stay with Alex." Hannah said softly.

Jacks POV.

He said I wasn't his mate. But he was my bond mate, maybe my heart has got it wrong. I left the room before I done something I would regret.
"Jack?" Oli said joining me in the kitchen.
"What Oli." I said bluntly and took a big mouthful of whiskey.
" You know Alex didn't mean it." He said walking up to me.
"Yeah he did." I said sadly.
"No he didn't. When you had the hurt and sadness look on your face Alex felt your emotion and looked at you, he looked really sorry what he said." Oli said carefully.
" He doesn't care." I said taking another mouthful of whiskey.
" He does care, he's more human than creature, give him time. He'll come round." He said.
Oli wasn't the sort of person to give out advise but he always meant it when he did give advise out.
"Maybe I have it wrong, maybe he's not my mate." I said sadly.
"You know as well as I do creatures don't get their bond mates wrong. You just happened to bond with a human, you have to work harder than what me and Hannah did." He said slapping my shoulder.
I just smiled and drunk more whiskey.

Alex's POV.

"I hurt him with what I said." I sighed putting my head in my hands.
"Yes you did." Hannah said slowly moving over to me.
"I'm sorry i flipped, you can sit next to me if you want." I said moving over so Hannah could join me.
"Its okay, its not everyday you can get suck into someone else's head and feel their emotions." She said looking at me softly.
"How do you know?" I said looking up at her.
"Okay, what I'm going to tell you. You must not tell anyone about it. Okay it stays with you!" She said looking round and waited for my answer.
"Okay." Was all I could say.
"Okay so you've noticed that me, Oli and Jack are different." She begins.
I simply nodded.
"That's because we are different. We are not humans like you, we are something called creatures. We where sent to live among humans and protect them from Demons. Demons are creatures which are bad they want to kill every human and rule on earth. Creatures range from vampires like Oli and Jack to something like pixies like me, anything mythical are creatures. Vampires are given a 'gift' they specialize in the elements Fire, Water, Air and Earth. Oli is a Fire user which is why he has a temper on him. Vampires with these elements their attitude plays a role with the element they specialize in. You with me on this?" She stopped and asked.
"Yeah I think so." I simply said trying to take in what has just been said.
Hannah carried on.
"There is one element which only a handful vampires specialize in and that Spirit. That is what Jack is. Vampires who are Spirit users are something different to vampires like Oli. They can do all sorts with their 'gift' they can heal people, they can bring people back from the dead, they can compell people and so much more. Creatures like humans they believe in 'soul mates' part from we call them 'bond mates' because as soon as a creature see their mate they bond with them straight away and will live forever with their mate. There are only a few creatures whose bond mates are human. If you haven't guessed you are Jacks mate." She stopped again. "Still with me?"
"Yeeeah." I said properly looking confused.
"Which brings me to the most important part, you must not flip out about this okay. Yes you can be shocked but don't throw a tantrum about it." She said looking deep into my eyes.
"Okay." I simply said.
"Okay. So you where not by a car which should of killed you. Am I right?" She said raising a eyebrow.
" How do you know?" I said shocked that she knew this.
"I'm a creature, a clever one so I know." She replied with a smile.
"So you should be dead, but Jack saw what happened and brought you back to life. Ever since then you feel what Jack feels, you see what Jack sees. You even share his nightmares. You are bonded to Jack, it not in the way me and Oli are, but in a way called Shadow-Kiss."
"What's a Shadow-kiss?" I asked.
"A Shadow-kiss is a person who was brought back from the dead by a Spirit user. They live in the shadow of the creatures life. They feel, know everything their bonded person feels. They are like guardian Angel soft of thing. But a Shadow-Kiss is a creature, a very rare one. But they are still human. You will always be bonded to Jack Alex. There's another thing abut a Shadow-Kiss you can always connect with the dead. But its a hard thing to do, you have to have a barrier with them. There's one more thing, this thing is deadly Alex. Because Jack is a Spirit user Jack tends to get more angry and depressed because that's what the Spirit does, you have the power to take some of the Spirit away from him, but be warned it leaves him but then you have it, Spirit is a powerful element and if you take too much away you can go insane.
She finished and looked at me.
"So what your saying is I'm a creature but not a creature?" I said really confused about everything now.
"Yes that's what I'm saying." She nodded.
"Well that explains everything, I thought I was going mad for a while." I smiled.
Hannah laughed.

Just then something went through this bond this I have.
Just then Oli came running into the room.
"Jack... he's gone off on one..." He panted.
"Your time to shine Alex." Hannah said patting my shoulder.
