Sacrifice

Alex's POV

I was outside away from everyone.
I felt a load off nerves go through the bond so I went intto Jack head to have a look.
I looked round and couldn't see any danger.
But I did see the creatures that tortured Jack.
I was going to see what they where going to do.
I looked round again.
Oli was stood in front off everyone looking like he was ready to speak.
The room slowly silenced.
"Well come back everyone. Just a couple off things before we start. Alex is in a serious grump. Its better if you don't go near him today. Unless you want your head snapped off cause that is what's going to happen if you go near him, if you took part in what happened and I know your in the room and Alex properly does too. I would stay very clear away from Jack and Alex. Also most off you need to feed. Me and a couple off others who know the area will go and find food and then later we can all feed." Oli said.
"Too get to the field you have to walk past Alex, who is sat on a tree stump, don't look or even speak to him." Oli said now finished what he had to say.

They all slowly left the room so I went out of Jacks head and back to mine and just looked at everyone put the corner off my eye.
I spotted the creatures who I 'beaten up' last night.
I was just about to get up when I felt a hand on my shoulder.
I looked up to see Jack.
"I'm going to fucking kill them." I growled.
"Their not worth it." Jack said softly.
I slowly got up and looked at Jack.
"What we going to too?" I asked and played with his top.
"I don't know but we have someone watching." Jack whispered in my ear.
I looked over to find Annie.
"Aleex.." She said and she ran over to me and hugged my leg.
"Hello you." I said and picked her up.
"Hello Jack." She said and waved to Jack.
"Heya Annie." Jack said.
Then her dad showed up.
"Annie get away from that thing." He said disgust lacing his voice.
"No." Annie said.
The dad reached over to grab her.
I moved Annie to the other side off me which was furthest away from her dad.
"Don't touch her." I growled.
"I will do what I want to do." He said and stepped forward.
I stepped back pushing Jack with me.
"Take Annie." I whispered handing Annie to Jack.
"This isn't going to end good." I heard Jack mutter to Annie.

Jacks POV

"What you going to do monster!?" Morris growled.
By looking at Alex body language he was shocked but soon shook it off.
"Morris don't." I said stepping forward but Alex stopped me.
"Stay back." He growled.
I put Annie on the floor.
"Stay behind Alex. Don't move from behind Alex." I whispered.
"Okay." She smiled.
I got up and went in the middle off the two.
"Morris stop this." I said trying to compel him.
It worked a little.
Suddenly we felt the ground shake.
Since I could manipulate gifts with the Spirit I did that.
I got the ground to stop what Morris got it too do and then got the grass to wrap round his legs and arms riding them together.
" What you doing!" He said loudly.
"You where warned not to go near Alex. Like normal you didn't listen. This is pay back, a little." I growled and then stopped manipulating Morris gift.
"Annie come here." He said.
Annie was holding onto Alex's leg and looked round it.
Annie shook her head.
I went over but she hid further behind Alex.

Alex was giving Morris the death stare but soon snapped out off it when he felt Annie on his leg.
He bent down and unwrapped her arm from his leg and kneeled in front off her.
"What's the matter?" Alex said softly
His attitude completely different to what it was 2 seconds ago.
Annie looked at me and then to Morris.
"You scared off Jack?" Alex said.
Annie nodded.
"There's nothing to be scared off about Jack. He's a big softie really." Alex smiled and whispered something in Annie's ear which made her giggle.
She looked at me and smiled but then she looked at Morris and fear went over her face.
Alex noticed and so did I.
Morris looked like he'd seen a ghost.
"Why is your own daughter scared off you?" Alex said sounding hurt.
He bent down and picked Annie up.
Morris didn't say anything.
"Jack can you get the answer out off him. I don't think Annie should be near him." Alex said softly but looked hard at Morris.
"Sure." I said never looking away from Morris.
Alex went off towards the house.

Once I heard the door shut that's when I lost it.
"What have you done to Annie?" I growled.
"Nothing Jack." He said.
He was lying.
Even his aura showed he was lying.
"Lies." I said quietly.
"They are not lies." He said more harshly.
"Yes they a...." I was stopped by Alex flying out the house and pinned Morris down and started to beat the crap out off him.
"HOW COULD YOU!?" Alex shouted.
Morris looked at him fear all over his face.
" Your meant to protect her! Not beat her!" Alex said sounding like he was going to cry but he didn't.
I understood why Alex was like this.
It makes a lot off sense now why Annie liked Alex more than anyone.
Morris couldnt even get a word in.
"Shit this isn't good at all." I said to myself.
I was still testing stuff out with the Spirit and I learn recently that I could send messages to people who I was close with.
"Oli I need your help." I said through to his head.

Not long after Oli showed up with Bobby.
They both stopped at looked at me and then to Alex.
"What happened?" Bobby asked.
"He's a monster! Beating a small innocent little girl like he did." Alex said loudly shaking Morris hard.
They looked at me.
"I don't have the strength behind me to pull Alex off by myself. I need your help." I said starting to worry about Alex.
Oli and Bobby looked at each other and went over to Alex and pulled him off hard and held him tight.
" Get off me!" He snarled.
"He has to know what it feels like to get beaten senseless!" He snarled again.
"And you know how it feels like..hm?" Oli said.
Something changed in Alex features.
The others noticed.
"Yes I do know how it feels like." Alex said quietly.
"Let me go." Alex growled.
They let him go and Alex ran off.

Morris got up to go after him.
"Don't even think about it!" I snarled.
Morris looked at me and then to Oli and Bobby.
"What your just going to let him get away with it." He huffed.
We all looked at each other.
"Yes." Oli said.
"Where's Annie?" Morris asked.
"Somewhere where you can't get to her!" I growled.
" I can't lose her." Morris said and started to cry.
"Should off thought about that before you beat her!" I snapped.
Morris looked at me.
"Morris everyone knows your not coping after Tillys death. You can't stand to be near Annie everyone can see it. She looks some much like her that its killing you. That's why you started to do what you did." I said softly.
Morris looked at me and nodded.
"Give yourself some time. You need to look after yourself before you can look after Annie. If you want me and Alex will look after her." I said having no idea what I just said.
"You sure Jack?" Morris asked sounding hopeful.
"I'm sure. I know Annie loves Alex and Alex loves Annie." I smiled.
Morris got up to hug me but i stepped back.
"Don't." I growled.
Morris stopped.
"Can I see her first and explain to her what's happening?" Morris said.
"yes you can." I said and started to walk towards the house.

We got to the house and saw Annie sat on the floor.
She saw me and smiled.
She saw her dad and fear washed over her face.
"Annie you dad needs to talk to you." I said softly.
"Okay." She said in a small voice.
I went over to Oli and Bobby.
" Keep an eye on them I need to find Alex." I whispered and left the house to find Alex.

I feel this chapter is really confusing but I couldn't think off any better ideas...
