Sacrifice

Jacks POV.

"What's bothering you?" Alex asked looking at me while eating the pancakes and toast I cooked.
"Nothing.." I lied.
"Remember what I said about lying, and also your keeping this from me, what is the matter Jack?" Alex said looking up from the pancakes.
"Fine, Hannah and Oli are having a party and I was wondering if you want to come as well?" I said looking down at the table.
"Is Jack asking me out on a date?" Alex said as he got up and washed up.
"Maybe." I muttered.
"Course I would Jack, question is, is there gonna be any alcohol?" Alex said smiling and looking at me.
"Yeah, if Oli has anything to do with it then there will be alcohol." I smiled.
"Excellent, then I'm in." He smiled.
I couldn't help but smile at this as well.

So today's the day of the party. I couldn't help but feel nervous about it cause Alex was going to be the only human and some of the creatures have had nothing to do with humans.
"Jack, you don't have to feel nervous about it, I can look after myself and you if I have too." Alex shouted from the shower.
" Who said I was nervous." I muttered to myself.
I got in the shower after Alex had finished.
When I got back into the bedroom Alex was just finishing getting ready.
He was wearing skinny jeans, vest top, flannel shirt, beanie and a pair of boots. He went downstairs.
He looked fucking hot.
"OI, keep your filthy thoughts to yourself!" Alex shouted from the sitting room.
I got changed into skinny jeans, Blink-182 shirt, hoodie and boots and went to join Alex.
He was in the kitchen having something what human calls 'per drinks'. He saw me and just looked.
"Whose got the filthy thoughts now?" I smirked and took the drink from Alex and downed it.
"Who said I was, because last time I checked I can get in your head but you can't." He smirked back and leaning himself into me.

After having 3 more shots we decided to make our way to Hannah and Oli. It took a bit longer as Alex stopped at a shop and got more alcohol and we where sharing it while we where walking to Hannah and Oli.
We got to their house Alex started to dance a little.
He was fucked, so was I but I could hide it better than him.
"Dance with me Jack." Alex said running up to me and took hold my hand and started to 'dance'.

After a minute or two Hannah answered the door.
"Jack! Alex! What took you so long." She said looking a bit drunk.
Alex was straight indoors getting us another drink.
" Piss head other there got some alcohol but we drunk on our way here." I explained.
I went in and Alex came over to me and handed me a drink and he went off to go and dance with the others.
I didn't trust them so I kept an extra eye on Alex and the others.
"Jack, where the fuck have you been!? And whose the human?" An old friend of mine Tristan said.
"Tristan, I've been hiding in this town. The human, he's my mate Alex." I said smiling and pulling Tristan into a hug and looked for Alex.
He was with another old friend of mine Rose and they where both dancing drunkenly.
" You've bonded with a human! Out of everyone I'd never thought it would be you bonding with a human!" Tristan said moving with the beat of the music.
"Yerp, I've bonded with a human. What you doing with yourself Tristan? I don't see you much anymore, I don't see anyone much anymore." I said a little bit sad.
I looked up and saw that Alex had noticed and was looking at me but he saw I was fine and drunk the rest of his Drink and got another one.
"Hes good looking Jack, didnt think humans could be that good looking and cute." Tristan said downing his drink.
"Hands off he's mine." I said playfully but warned at the same time.
"Hey, I know he is, pretty much everyone in this room knows he's yours, buuuuuut it looks like someone doesn't get the message." Tristan said, but I heard Alex shouting and he was mad.
Sober mad Alex was scary, don't even want to know what drunk Alex is like.

"KEEP YOUR FUCKING FILTHY CREATURE HANDS TO YOUR FUCKING SELF!!" Alex shouted.
"IM FUCKING TAKEN, ONLY THAT PERSON CAN TOUCH ME!!" he carried on.
"ALSO YOUR A FUCKING CREEP, WHO LIKES TO STEAL OTHER PEOPLES MATE, CREATURE OR FUCKING HUMAN!!"
I had to admit the person he was shouting at looked shocked at the fact that Alex was human.
" Your human?" He said in a odd accent.
"WELL FUCKING DONE SHERLOCK, I AM HUMAN!!" Alex shouted.
The man said something to Alex.
"NEVER FUCKING SAY THAT AGAIN!!!" He shouted.
Next thing I saw was Alex lunging at him and beating the shit into the person.
Fuck.This isn't good.
" Move!!" I shouted over the people to get them out my way.

"Alex." I said putting a hand on his shoulder. He just shuggered it off.
Whatever he said to Alex must of really hurt him and made him angry cause Alex isn't like this.
I had to compell Alex in the end.
"Alex stop this, this isn't you." I said.
He suddenly stopped.
He looked at me and stormed passed everyone.
"Oli go check on Alex." I said accidentally using compulsion on him
He went off to find Alex.

I turned to the man Alex was beating up.
What a surprise it was Mac, he would do anything to take peoples mates away from them.
" What did you say to him Mac?" I growled.
"I said nothing to that pathetic human, Spirit boy!" He snarled.
"He is not a pathetic human, you thought he was bloody creature, so what if I'm Spirit, I can do this."
With that I made Mac think he was seeing ghosts, evil ghosts doing stuff to him.
"You see Mac I'm stronger than you and you bloody know it!" I growled.
"Stop, please stop it, I'm sorry." Mac begged.
I suddenly felt a some of anger go, Alex must of taken it away using the bond.
I turned round to find Alex, but not before i turned round and punched Mac hard.
"Stay away from my mate, you shit!" I snarled and went to find Alex.

I went outside to find Alex, I saw Oli on the decking looking out into the garden.
" He's sat on the tree trunk, whatever Mac said to him has upset him a lot Jack, give him some space, he looks like he's about to flip again." Oli said quietly.
" He took some Spirit away." I said quietly.
Oli looked at me and then looked back out to the garden and said,
"He really likes you Jack, he's proving it as well, he was always looking over at you, he saw you with Tristan and looked really hurt. I maybe no spirit user and shit but I can tell when someone loves someone." He said looking back at me.
"Do you know what Mac said to him?" I asked looking at Oli.
"He knew about his sister, don't ask me how, and he was trying to hit on him. Alex knows you've bonded with him and he's trying to do the same to you but it takes humans longer too bond. Their such odd things." Oli said deep in thought about humans.
"Only I knew about his sister, I haven't left his side since he told me. I know he's slowly getting there, just need some more time. Live with Alex then you'll see how different they are to us. I mean they eat fuck loads, watch really weird on TV and they confusing with their emotions." I explained. I earned a chuckle from Oli.

I heard something and noticed Alex was on the move.
"I'll see you later Oli, say by to Hannah for is will you?" I said making my way towards where Alex maybe.
"Will do Jack." He smiled and went back indoors.

Alex was making his way home.
I knew he sense I was behind him.
"He knew about Lily, how did he know?" He said turning round and facing me.
"I don't know." I said sadly.
I noticed Alex aura had changed to a bright red.
Shit, he was gonna flip.
"YOU DO FUCKING KNOW! YOU FUCKING TOLD HIM, WHY JACK? WHY DID YOU TELL HIM, I FUCKING TRUSTED YOU!! I THOUGHT CREATURES WHERE DIFFERENT TO HUMANS I WAS WRONG!!! IM FUCKING WRONG ABOUT EVERYTHING!!" He shouted and then broke down into tears.
I went to go and comfort him. But what Alex shouted next was a slap in the face,
"DONT FUCKING COME NEAR ME!! DONT FUCKING TOUCH ME!!" While backing away from me.
"Alex I never told him, I hardly speak to any other creature other than Hannah and Oli." I said quietly.
" Alex, I wouldn't break your trust, why would I? I have no reason to break your trust. Creatures are different from humans. But their attitude is the same as humans we live of trust to our mates.Your not wrong about everything Alex." I said softly sitting down next to him.
He didn't move away, he didn't shout, he just stayed there and stared off into space and sniffed.

"Alex speak to me?" I said moving closer to him. He didn't move away.
"What's there to speak about? Nothing." He said blankly while still looking to the other side of where we where sitting.
"I know you didn't speak to anyone about Lily, I know creatures are different from humans but are so alike. But there's always something wrong with me." Alex said really quietly I almost didn't hear him.
"There is nothing wrong with you!" I said and sat right in front on him and looked at him.
His face was tear stained, his eyes where red from crying he looked really broken from what Mac said to him.
"There's always something wrong with me." He repeated at a whisper and looked away from me.
I placed two fingers under his chin and made him look at me.
"No there's not." I said looking deep into his eyes.
I leaned forward and softly kissed his cheek. He leaned into the kiss and as I pulled back he kissed me on the lips softly.
I looked at Alex's aura after we kissed and could see it was shining bright like the sun.

"Come let go home, its cold out here." I said standing up and helping Alex up.
Alex rested his head on my shoulder and put his hand in my back pocket and we walked in silence. Alex had a smile on his face like I had a smile on mine.
When we got back Alex was pretty much fallen asleep only using me as support.
"Come on you, let's get you to bed." I said quietly kicking the door behind me and watched it shut and then I locked it.
I carried Alex upstairs and placed him on the bed.
"Alex wake up, put some PJs on or something." I said.
Alex snorted and woke up a little.
"What?" He said running his eyes.
"Put these on." I said giving him a pair of sweats.
"Okay, can you help me?" He said quietly.
" Course I will." I said as I took his tops off.
I noticed finger marks on his arms.
" Alex where did you get these?" I said looking at Alex.
He looked at me with a really sad look on his face.
"It was the man who I was shouting at, that's why I shouted at him, he grabbed me from behind and held me really tight on my arms and gave me these." he looked down at his arms.
"Let me heal them." I said looking at him, Alex nodded.
With that the marks had disappeared.
"I'll never be amazed of your healing ability Jack." Alex said looking softly looking at me.
I just smiled.
After that Alex got changed into sweats and climbed into bed.
I went to go out the room as I knew i wouldnt be able to sleep.
"Stay with me Jack?" Alex said sat up in bed looking like a little kid whose just had a nightmare.
"Okay." I said taking my shirt off and boots as I walked over to the bed.
I climbed into bed and Alex moved to the side of me and cuddled into the side of me.
"Night Alex." I said quietly.
" Night Jack." I head Alex say really quietly.
