Sacrifice

Alex's POV

I was really mad that Jack picked up the photo of me and Lily.
But I know that he's properly not seen something like it before.
But he should of asked.
I didn't mean to breakdown and ramble about Lily but its been a while since I've been in that room and everything just came rushing back.
By the look of Jacks face I could tell he never seen anyone show that sort of emotion, he also was thinking what creatures would do but he decided not to do that and came and sat next to me and hold me.

There was a sudden emotion of frustration go through the bond.
I woke up straight away to find Jack wasn't in bed.
I went straight into his head to find him.
He was downstairs in the kitchen, failing badly at cooking. I came out his head and just smiled.
I went downstairs and went to the kitchen.
I was greeted by Jack getting in a strop with something.
"Fuck sake, stupid human technology!" He muttered.
I couldn't help chuckle.
"Guessing creatures don't actually blend in with the human world, like using their technology?" I said walking in to the kitchen making Jack jump in the progress.
"Don't do that!" He shouted.
"You should be able to tell when I'm round, using your creature senses." I said and turned on the toaster.
"You forgot to turn it on." I chuckled slapping his face a little.
" Your the one who can tell when I'm around, not me." He smiled.
" And how was I meant to know?" He said looking back at the toaster
"Its called waking me up and showing you, you will be a house bitch one day." I said chuckled.
" But you looked peaceful and also I'm not going to be a house bitch to anyone.. well maybe one day." He said thinking.
"Hey don't think to hard, one I can hear you, two the toast is burning." I said pushing the button to make the toast stop cooking.
"Now next question is can you work the cooker?" I asked looking at Jack.
" Nope." Shaking his head.
"How the fuck did you live?" I asked looking at him shocked.
" Its called blood mostly but sometimes eating human food." Jack said.
"Go sort yourself out and i find out how to work this shit out." Jack said pushing me out the kitchen.
"Don't burn the house down Jack, and I'll be watching!" I said leaving Jack to whatever he's doing.
"And I don't fancy food poisoning ether, even if you can heal me for it!" I shouted walking up the stairs.
"Okay!" Jack shouted back.

After sorting myself out and checking in on Jack every so often. I felt something tingle through the bond.
What was this?
I headed downstairs where the food has been cooked.
"For someone who can't use human technology you look like you've done a bloody good job." I said shocked about this.
"Ahh you see being a Spirit user has its good points!" Jack said smiling.
" Like what?" I asked looking confused.
" shut up and eat your pancakes!" Jack simply said.
So i did.
