All I Ever Wanted

Alex and I arrived at Rian's house; the only member of his band I hadn't met yet. We walked up the drive hand in hand, and Alex knocked on the front door, releasing my hand when it was pulled open.

"Hey, Alex. Come in." We were ushered inside where a ton of people were that I didn't know. I looked around, spotting Zack and Jack, and Alex lead me over, the guy who had opened the door following us.

"Hey guys. Alex, where's Lisa?" Zack asked. Jack smiled at me.

"We broke up. Guys, I'm not sure if you remember, but this is Elizabeth," Alex said. I smiled as he rested a hand on the small of my back, bringing me forward a little bit. Zack extended a hand, and I took it, quickly shaking his hand before Jack pulled me into a hug.

"Liz, this is Rian," Alex said, and Rian smiled and gave me a small wave.

"Hi. It's wonderful to meet you," I told him.

"And you. Would you like a drink?" Rian asked.

"That would be pleasant. Nothing alcoholic, though," I said. Rian nodded and went to retrieve my drink.

"What, are you pregnant?" Jack asked with a wink. I rolled my eyes at him as a smile spread on my lips.

"No, dumbass. I just don't feel like drinking tonight," I said. Jack chuckled. A minute or so later, Rian returned with a nice cold Coca-Cola for me. I thanked him and popped the tab, taking a sip after doing so.

"Come on, Lizzy. Let me introduce you to some people," Alex said in my ear, and he pulled me along with him as I concentrated on not spilling my drink. Alex lead me over to a somewhat large group of people, and I suddenly felt shy, because I didn't know who any of these people were. Alex caught their attention quickly by clapping one of the guys on the shoulder. He turned around, and a smile spread on his face. He was gorgeous. Don't forget tall.

"Lizzy, this John. John, this is my girlfriend, Lizzy," Alex said. He raised an eyebrow, accompanied by a smile, and he held out a hand for me to shake.

"Hi," I said.

"Hello. I'm John, from The Maine," he told me. I kind of wanted to melt, because God. His voice. We shook, and Alex turned to the next guy. We had the attention of the whole group now, so there were a lot of eyes on me.

"This is Tony, that's Jaime, that's Vic, and that's Mike. All four are in Pierce The Veil. This is Kellin from Sleeping With Sirens, that's... I don't know who those five dudes are, but they look cool...." Alex trailed off. One of the guys chuckled and stepped forward, taking my hand in his.

"I'm Andy. This is Ashley, CC, Jake, and Jinxx. They're all in my band, Black Veil Brides," he said. His voice was deep and smooth, and his eyes a piercing blue.

"It's great to meet all of you guys," I said. I looked at Alex who grinned and kissed my temple.

Alex and I spent the whole night glued to each other's sides, but we'd be in completely different conversations at the same time. I talked to John a lot; mainly about where he was from and how he got his band name. I literally got all of their numbers, and Ashley tried to pull a move, but Alex glared at him until he backed off. So, when Alex and I had to leave, I almost didn't want to, but sleep was calling my name.
