Part 6

4 Weeks Later

I couldn’t help but giggle as Matt, grabbed me from behind and lifted me into a hug.

Things between us couldn’t be better. This was still a secret to everyone else and I was surprised how I kept it this quite this long. Normally I would have spilled it to someone by now, but I think since the only people I’d talk to, Alex would find out before I could tell him. I was going to tell him, but when the time was right.

Matt kissed me gently; I knew that we must have been alone in the bunk area of the bus. These where the times, I loved this small moments we had. They were few in number it was hard to find the time during the day since we were surrounded by everyone but in the evening or when night fell it was easier.

We were still taking it slow, something I wasn’t used to. My relationships normally start after what I was planning as a one-night stand, but we hadn’t even got there yet. I liked the place we were in, but I knew my hormones would take over soon.

We broke apart when we heard footsteps coming onto the bus.

“Ahh, there you two are” Alex grinned as he pulled the curtain back
“Ohh you finally looking for me for once” I laughed
“Haha, very funny Gem. But yeah warped party in a few hours, there’s a clearing among the tour buses” he grinned

Jack followed in behind him, and grinned.

“You two going?” he asked with a smirk

I looked at Matt and shrugged

“Well count me in” I grinned

“Sure, why not we all gotta let loose sometimes” he grinned
“Did I just hear that? You’re actually going to do something besides tour manager stuff?” Alex joked

We all laughed but I swore I heard Jack say “Of course, you’ll be there if she’s there”, I just shook it off.

“Well unlike you boys, I need more than 15 minutes to get ready”
“Lalalala” Jack shouts as he stuffs his fingers in his ears
“JACK JUST GO!” I shout back at him with a smile,

And with that the boys leave, with Matt shuffling out last, shooting me a quick grin.

I jumped in the shower, after I dried my hair. I decided to go with an almost baggy vest top with a leopard print bikini top underneath, high waist shorts and my comfortable vans, I knew it was gonna be warm out even though it was beginning to get dark. I kept my make-up simple and I’d straighten my hair.

I was in the process of running the straighter through my hair, when I spotted Rian in the mirror I’d propped up on the floor of the bunk area.

“Oh Rian” I sang
“Oh hey Gem, didn’t think you’d be here” he grinned, I could hear in his voice he was up to something, but I decided to ignore it.
“Ri-Ri when is Cass coming to visit, it’s been forever since I’ve seen her” I sighed
“She told you didn’t see?”
“Noooo, but you just did. She’s coming tomorrow isn’t she?” I laughed
“Amm, not exactly” a voice came from behind him, I knew it could only be one person
“CASSADEE” I screamed, as I placed my straighteners on the floor and jumped up to hug her
“How did you keep this all hush, hush?” I asked with a smile
“I actually don’t know”

Rian stood there as we chatted, but I could tell from the look of his face he wasn’t enjoying our chat.

“Well, I’m gonna take a quick shower, if you two are gonna talk” Rian said as he squeezed between us

Cassadee quickly pecked him on the cheek as he pasted. I quickly finished my hair, before rummaging through the alcohol cupboard from something for us to drink.

“So glad you’re coming tonight, and you’re gonna be here for a few days. It’s too cramped with guys around here” I smiled at first but it slowly became a frown
“Of course, well I was used to that remember I was in a band with guys” she laughed
“So come on Gem, any dishy stories to tell me?” she grinned

I wanted to tell her about me and Alex but I couldn’t I didn’t even know what me and Matt were and I wasn’t gonna tell anyone till I knew that.

“Well me and Jake broke up a few months back” I chuckled
“Oh good, never liked him. No offence”
“None takin”
“So there’s no-one else on the table then?” she asked
“Nope” I said as I popped the “p”
“Well then, you’re on tour with loads of guys and other bands I’m sure you’ll find someone” she grinned
“Actually that our mission for tonight” she widened her eyes at me
“But you quite rightly know how Alex will feel about that”
“Well he can suck it,” she laughed

Then she took a sip of her drink, looked me up and down and grinned.

“First, you need to get the girls out more” she chuckled as she fixed my top
“Of course, boobs. Every mans weakest” I laughed

Then I turned to see Rian standing there, giving us a weird look.

“And_what_are_you two talking about?” he asked
“Boobs” we said in unison

He grabbed the open bottle I’d left on the counter and took a swig of it.

“Excuse me?” I glared at him
“That’s mine”
“It’s says Alex on it?” he questioned
“Well technically” I laughed

After that I grabbed my phone and shoved it in my pocket, and we headed out.

“Remember, you’re on the prowl tonight” Cassadee whispered in my ear as she followed me down the steps of the bus.

I cracked a fake smile and nodded. I needed to tell her soon.

“And I win again” Jack grinned as raised his arms in victory

I just smiled as I downed another cup of beer. For the past hour or two, myself, Jack, Alex and Matt where involved in games of beer pong, which I was clearly bad at.

Jack unofficially crowned himself the king of beer pong after two matches, and I think Matt regretted having me a teammate.

By this time, I was pretty tipsy and I felt once again that Jack was throwing beers or anything he could at me, but I was used to this by now.

While Alex had his back turned, Matt grabbed me by the arm and dragged me beside one of the near by tour buses. He gently pressed me up against it and kissed me passionately.

“You do not know how long, I was holding that in” he grinned as he pulled away
“I do like, this sneaking around. It’s just so …” I paused for a moment
“Romantic” I giggled

He leaned in again and this time it turned into a full on kiss, but the moment was broken when we heard Alex shouting for Matt. We quickly broke apart, he grinned at me, before heading off in search of him. I waited a few moments before moving so it didn’t look too suspicious but as I just rounded the corner, I bumped into Jack who had another beer in his hand for me.

“And where did you venture off to Missy?” he asked with a grin
“No-where. I just needed a minute to myself” I smiled
“Ahuh” he nodded as he sipped his drink

I shoot him a confused look but he just shrugged his shoulders at me.

“Are you okay Jacky?” I asked, nudging him slightly
“I’m p-e-r-f-e-c-t” he childish grinned
“Jack?” I glared at him
“Are you up to something?”
“Me? Oh Gem why would you think that?”
“Cause I know you Jack Barakat” I laughed as I poked his arm

We walked off together to re-join the group, but Alex gave me the weirdest look, when Jack and me turned the corner together.

“What’s up Bro?” I asked as I skipped over beside him
“Nothing” he just sipped his drink
“You boys, are seriously weird” I sighed, downing the last of my beer and if by magic Jack had another one waiting for me
“Welcome to Warped Sis” Alex chuckled tipping his cup to mine
The night seemed to last forever, and I was a happy as I could be. Cassadee’s mission to find me a guy, had failed within a few hours when she got preoccupied with Rian, which I was glad about.

The large group had broken off, I was happily chatting with Cass, Rian and Jack.

“But seriously Gem, it is great having you on tour. Feels like the old days” Rian said flashing his infamous smile
“Doesn’t it. I feel 17 again,” I sang as I downed the last of my drink

I was starting to get that happy drunk feeling and I liked it. Soon enough Cass and Rian snuck off while Jack and I were in the middle of a heated conversation about Home Alone.

“And then there were us two” he announced
“Oh, they really do know how to sneak away” I laughed

But then out of no-where I yawned.

“Oh someone’s sleepy” Jack giggled as he poked me
“No, and ouch! That’s my boob,” I said as slapped his hand away
“Come on, I’ll walk you back” he offered turning me around and pushing in the direction of the bus, I managed to catch Matt’s stare and mouthed to him “My bunk later” but I’d gone before he could reply.

On the way back, Jack came on poking me in random place, my boob being the most popular.

“Jack, will you stop poking me there, please” I asked nicely
“You should take it as a compliment, my dear” he grinned

We were nearing the bus at this stage.

“So your saying you like my boobs then?”
“Isn’t it obvious?” he chuckled

I just laughed, we’d reached the door of the bus but as I grabbed to open it, Jack gently took my arm and spun me. I landed in his arms and he hugged me close, I found this all too funny in my state and I was giggling but when I looked up, his lips collided with mine. I didn’t stop; my head was too fuzzy to think to. He gently pushed me towards the side of the bus, and the kiss heated up. Then he softly with one arm picked me up, our lips still connected and carried me onto the bus.

I wasn’t sure what Matt and me were, and my heart was screaming at me to stop but my head wasn’t listening. But there was something I’d been wanting for few weeks now and knew Jack would easily give it to me.

I know what I was doing was wrong; having sex with Jack was a big mistake. But I was too drunk to even comprehend, all I wanted was sex, and well I got that.

I felt horrible, I was hurting Matt even though he would never know.

“So” I nervously said as I threw back on my clothes
“Yeah” Jack replied grabbing this t-shirt from the floor of back longue

I felt that we were going to have a huge talk about this, until I heard voices from the front of the bus.

“Fuck!” I cursed
“One of us need to leave here now, because if Alex finds me here like this with you. He’ll kill us both on the spot”
“You go” he gestured

I quickly got up from the couch, as I gripped the handle to slide open the door, Jack spoke once more.

“Are you gonna tell Matt?” he asked

I froze, he knew.

“Why would I?” I nervously asked
“Gem, I know what’s going on between you two”
“Are you going to tell Alex?”
“Gem, you have to stop worrying about Alex. He’ll have to learn to deal with it. You just had sex with me, and your with Matt that a bigger problem”
“He’ll never know, we’re nothing at the moment”

I said nothing after that, I just snuck out while the boys where preoccupied by the t.v in the front. I quietly snuck into the bathroom, locking the door behind me. I held myself up with the bathroom sink, and stared at myself in the mirror. What had a just done? I thought I had something special with Matt, it wasn’t love I wouldn’t have had sex with Jack. But I tossed it out of my mind, I’d never tell Matt and I prayed Jack would keep his mouth shut.

I took a deep breathe before stepping out of the bathroom, and made my way to re-join the boys.

“Oh hey, this is were you got to” Alex grinned
“Yeah, I felt a little tired so I decided to come back here” I grinned

Then I yawned once again.

“Well, since I’ve said my hello’s, I’m gonna go to bed” I smiled
“Yeah me too” Matt said, I could see he was faking a yawn
“Pussies” Alex chuckled

I shot him a quick wave and headed off to my bunk, I quickly grabbed my sleeping shorts and my raven’s jersey and ran off to the bathroom and change. When I returned, Matt was leaning against my bunk, and he shot me his irrespirable smile, I melted for a moment.

“I wanna ask you something”
“Okay, but not out here” I smiled as I grabbed my vans and then grabbed his hand and pull him through the second entrance for the bus. The night hadn’t gotten any cooler and it was about 3am, I think.

“Sooo…what do you wanna ask me” I grinned

He gently took my hand and pulled me close.

“I wanted to ask you and well I’ve been thinking about this for a few weeks now. I know said we weren’t gonna make this exclusive but fuck it. Gemma I wanna make you my girlfriend” he grinned

I didn’t take one second to think,

“Of course”

He leaned in and kissed me passionately.

“Well this will be a story, you ask me out while you all dressed up, and I’m in shorts and a Raven’s jersey” I chuckled
“It will be”

Once again he kissed me, this time the kiss was more intense and I could feel something. I knew we had something more, and I completely forgot about Jack.

We broke from the kiss, and he gently whisked me inside. I checked to see if Alex was still up front, and I seen Jack had re-joined him. He caught my stare and sighed, I wasn’t sure what he meant by that but I shook it off.

As we passed I pulled the curtain of my bunk to make it look like I had gone to sleep, Matt helped into his bunk not before sneaking in a quick kiss. I lay in his bunk as he dashed off the change into something to sleep in.

I could tell this was going to be a difficult relationship, not between us but everyone else and when I mean everyone else I was scared Alex wouldn’t approve, I could feel it in my stomach.
