We slowly walked back hand in hand towards the tour bus, we talked after what happened and we both agreed that we’d take this slow, keep it simple, nothing too serious, nothing exclusive. It was best, we also agreed that Alex was to know nothing, no one would. We knew that it wouldn’t be easy living on a tour with so many people but we’d see how far it would go.

“Oh you two are finally back” Jack grinned as I slowly entered the bus, letting go of Matt’s hand right away
“Yeah, Matt decided to show me around” I gently smiled back
“Amm, where’s Alex?” I asked as I took a seat beside him
“Shower, I think”

I slowly nodded to myself.

“I’m gonna check, to see if anything else needs to be done” Matt grinned as he walked away
“You two seemed to be hitting it off” Jack grinned as he gently elbowed me
“We’ve always been like this, just never had this much time around each other”
“Whatever helps you sleep at night, Gem” he chuckled
“Jack Barakat, will you shh” I playfully hit him in the arm

He got up from his seat, and headed towards the bunks.

“Trust me, I know these things” he smiled, as he tapped his nose

I sighed to myself, as I sat alone in the front longue. I knew keeping this a secret was going to be more than difficult. I considered Jack as one of my best friend and I knew keeping this from him would kill me and probably hurt him.

I quickly forgot about it when Alex re-emerged.

“So sis, how you likin’ Warped so far” he grinned
“It’s only day one Alex, ask me on day 15” I laughed

I glanced at the time on my phone, and turned my head slightly. I still had time.

“Hey, if Matt asks for me or looks for me to do something, tell him I’ve gone for a run” I smiled as I headed towards the bunks to change into my running shorts
“Ha, I knew running mad Gemma would re-appear sooner or later” he chuckled

I just laughed to myself, as I quickly changed from my denim shorts into more appropriate running shorts. Then I grabbed my iPod and headphones before heading out the door.

I knew my best bet was to leave the venue, I knew Alex said something about there being a park near by.

I hopped up the steps of the bus, as soon as I seen a seat I jumped onto it and happily sighed. I reached for a bottle of water and downed it. Running was my way of getting rid of my thoughts and anxiety, and my anxiety was running high at the moment.

“Hey, there you are” Matt smiled
“I told Alex, to tell you I went for a run” I half smiled
“Gem have you met Alex?” he chuckled

I slowly rose for my seat and headed towards the bathroom to grab a quick shower. But Matt grabbed me by the waist as I walked past and pulled me close. I saw him glance either side of him before he gently kissed me.

“You do know, I just went for a run?”
“Don’t care”

I held my iphone tight in my left hand as I held my prize Gibson in my other, as I snapped a quick selfy for my instagram. I had a little obsession with instagram these days, snapping everything and anything. So this was the best opportunity to take advantage.

“Gem, you are making me regret following you on instagram” Alex chuckled as he placed his two hands on my shoulder
“Your one to talk” I giggled
“You nervous about the set?” he gently asked, I felt him gently rubbing my shoulders
“Nah, you know me Alex we don’t get nervous” I grinned as I stuck my tongue out at him
“Good, it feels good having my baby sis on tour. A little piece of home with me”
“Aww, Alex you are saying such cute things these days” I cooed as I pinched his cheek

He gently slapped my hand away.

“Well, you have a good show and I’ll see you during Sunday”

He grinned at me as he walked away. I took my Gibson and placed it on the rack beside the boy’s spare guitars if anything would happen to the back-ups.

“Hey Gem can you double check if the soundboard is working and Zack and Jack’s mic’s are on too” Danny’s voice came through the mic I’d clipped to the strap on my vest top.
“Of course, it can be done” I grinned to myself

I skipped across the stage and sang 1,2,3 into each mic before ducking to side stage to check the soundboard but I seen Matt was already there.

“Hey” I shyly grinned as I edged closer to him
“I knew I could Danny to get you to come over here” he chuckled
“Using your power to get “alone” time with me” I cooed

He threw his arm around me and pulled me close. Then he gently kissed the top of my head.

“Who knew they’d be perks to having his job” I grinned
“Yeah, your not getting away with anything, I’m gonna watch you like a hawk” I half glared at me, which ended up as a smile
“You know that sound really creepy” I shot him a confused look

We just laughed it off, until a call from through the mic.

“Hey, you two stop messing around and get to work. We have a show to play” I heard Jack’s voice, I looked across the stage to see Jack holding onto Danny’s mic. I seen the expression of his face, he was trying to be serious but he couldn’t hold it and he burst into laughter.
“You’ll never be an actor Jack, you can’t hold expressions without bursting into laughter” I joked

He guested me to join him, l looked at Matt and he smiled.

“We’ll get some alone time soon, don’t worry” he grinned

I just grin and nodded at him, before I skip across the stage to join Jack, the crowd cheers as I do, I guess they were excited to see All Time Low play.

“Someone’s getting buddy, buddy with their boss” Jack chuckles as he gently elbows me in the arm
“Well you guys are like that, so why can’t I” I laugh
“Ah well played”

Then he suddenly grabbed me from behind and hugged me.

“You know I love you Gem”

I smiled to myself, but before I could answer the band’s five minute call came across my mic, I guessed it was go time.

I handed back Jack’s guitar to Ian before he packed it away with the rest of the boy’s guitars. Myself and the rest of the crew just finished up packing up after All Time Low’s set. The set was amazing, I was happy of how well excepted into the All Time Low fan base, when I stepped out for Remembering Sunday, the crowd went wild. I was over whelmed by it and when the song ended and Alex introduced me to the crowd they seemed to cheer even more.

We headed back to the bus, after the set was done and dusted. I hung back a bit to walk with Matt.

“I see the Gaskarth talent really exists” he grinned as he poked me gently
“You were doubting me,” I asked in a sarcastic tone

I glanced ahead of me, and noticed the boys where a good few feet ahead of us. But before I could have another thought, Matt scooped me up bridal style.

“Romantic aren’t we” I asked with a giggle
“Better now than ever”

Jack

I decided to hang back and talk to some old tour buddies while the rest of the band and crew headed back to the bus.

This tour was starting out amazing, the crowd was amazing but the kids on warped are always crazy.

I took my time heading back to re-join the others, until something in the corner of my eye, grabbed my attention. I swore I hear Gemma’s giggling somewhere infront of me, and I was right.

I saw Matt carrying Gemma bridal style, a few feet infront of me. When I told her earlier than she was getting buddy, buddy with her boss I didn’t think it they were this friendly.

But something in my head told me something, something I’d been thinking about ever since I knew that Gemma was gonna joining this tour. Alex had always told me ever since she was 16, if he ever caught me “with” her he’d kill me. But what he didn’t know is that telling me I couldn’t do or have something made me want it more.
So I’d been trying my best to get her into bed, I know it sounds dickish, and almost selfish but I’m not out to hurt anyone, I just want a fun time.

As I was getting lost in my own thoughts, something once again caught my eye. As Matt carried here, I seen him kissed her passionately.

My eyes almost widened. We all knew how Matt felt about Gemma, even Alex knew. But I didn’t think she felt the same about him. I didn’t know should I tell Alex or confront them about it. Well I guess my plan to get her into bed wasn’t gonna happen, no biggy, I’d move on.
