Nameless Beauty Boy

15 days later. Thursday.

“Kid we’ve been climbing forever, where is this ‘city spot’ you speak of!?” Alex yelled. They were walking up a mountain trail and Alex could feel his legs start to give up. Jack was ahead of him rushing to get to wherever it was he was going.
“Hurry up Alex we are literally almost there!” Kid was acting like a….. Well, kid going to Disney land.
“Why did we have to your bring a camera?! And why do you have a camera in your motorcycle pouch? Isn’t that dangerous?”
Jack turned around throwing his arms in the air, walking backwards “Isn’t everything dangerous!?” He smiled at Alex. Alex stopped walking “I don’t want to walk anymore!”

Kid put his arms down and started rushing down the path towards Alex. He slid and grabbed the sides of Alex’s face pushing their foreheads together. “Come on Alex the spot if right fucking there! I am going to show you this world and you are not going to stop me.” He reached down and grabbed Alex’s hand. “Now Shut up and take my hand, we have a great journey ahead of us.”

He turned around and started pulling Alex up the hill, Alex was okay with kid holding his hand he loved the feeling his body got when they were close. He felt completely at peace like there was nothing that could stop them. He left like a whole knew person.

Kid felt like it was his job to show Alex the world, and he now feels like he is meant to take care of him. He could feel like there was something in him, something in the both of them that was drawing them together. After feeling alone, feeling like he wasn’t complete, he realized that Alex is what he was missing. He finally feels right.
Kid stopped and turned around letting go of Alex’s hand. “Okay, now close your eyes.” He said putting his hands over Alex’s eyes. “Dude I’m going to trip and fall on my face!”
Alex reached his hands out in front of him. “I’ll catch you then” Kid laughed “Now come on”
They started walking and Alex became nervous, a few moments later they stopped.
“Okay keep your eyes closed.” Kid pulled the camera out of Alex’s hand. Taking a couple steps back and looking into the view finder and focusing on Alex.

“Now open”

He did just that, slowly opened his eyes and he saw it, he saw everything.
Alex mouth was open slightly, shocked and amazed at what he was seeing. See this all for the first time, never has he felt like this. Felt like he was flying.

*Click* *Click* *Click*

Alex looked over at the idiot with the camera. “See, now we have your reaction forever.” He smiled putting the camera down.
“Kid, This… This is amazing!” Alex smiled staring in aw at the beautiful city below them, Jack walked over to Alex placing a hand on his shoulders.
“Sit.”
They sat down looking over the city, Alex pointed “There’s the park!” Kid smiled and nodded .
“And- and there’s the mall!”
Jack looked over at Alex, he took everything in. His wonderful smile, his glowing eyes.
“And I live over there! With my Mum and Dad!”
“You still live with your parents?” Alex’s smile went away.
“Yeah, I need to find a place to live, someone to live with.”
Alex has been looking for a home since he graduated high school, he has friends but none of them in which he wanted to live with.

“Hey! Come live with me!” Kid blurted out.

“What!? N-no… I- I cant. Are you crazy?”

“Why not? There has been his apartment that I have had my eyes oh, I just needed someone to move in with me, I needed someone like you Alex. Come on? You’ll be out of your parent’s house, don’t you trust me?”

“Moving in with someone is a big thing Kid; I mean I would be walking blindly into this. I don’t know what I’m doing! I need someone to show me the way!”
I fucking met the guy 2 weeks ago and now he wants me to move in with him? Is it weird that it also feels right? It feels completely right. We have spent everyday together, and he is always showing me new things. New ways to live life, maybe this is my chance?

“Alex? Don’t you, trust me?” He looked eyebrows raised

Alex did trust him, he trusted him with his life. This is it; this is the moment Alex was thinking about. It wasn’t him getting on the bike with Kid it was moving in with him. That risky decision that will change his life, make it better. I was living with Kid.
Alex nodded

“Yeah, I trust you.”

That’s it; those were the words that would change Alex’s life forever. Loving is easy, needing is easy, but trusting. That’s something completely different. It’s hard to trust someone.

Jack smiled and lifted the camera to his eye; taking a photo of Alex, “Good, let’s photograph our memories so we can live forever. Remember all the times we’ve spent together. ”

“Kid, this is amazing you can practically see the whole town! How on earth did you find this place?”

Jack put the camera down and smiled at Alex. “Well let’s just say, I get lost a lot.”

Alex couldn’t take his eyes off of the city he wanted to fly over it; he wanted to save it with him forever. He wanted to save how he felt forever. “Kid, hand me the camera.”

Jack walked over and Alex and handed him the camera, “Now stand at the edge for.”
He smiled at Alex and walked over to the edge. “Now pose Kid.” Alex lifted the camera to his eye, looking at Kid through the view finder. Kid had his arms up and out making his body look like a ‘Y’. His shirt was up and you could see midriff, he was smiling, he was always smiling. Alex took the picture and looked at the camera to see hoe it turned out. That’s it, that is what he was feeling he photographed his feelings perfectly!

Jack ran over to Alex, “Let me see!” He put his arm around Alex and Alex showed him the photo and looked at Kid’s. His face lit up, “That’s a keeper, now you go.” Alex walked over to the edge, but he didn’t turn around. Alex flipped the hair out of his eyes. He looked over the city; he took a deep breath and closed his eyes. Alex lifted his arms up to a ‘T’. He let the slow winds blow through him, Alex lost himself. He was wrapped him the thought of his mine thinking how perfect everything is.

Am I dreaming? So quite and peaceful.

Alex felt arms around his waist and a head rest on his shoulder. “You know if you stand to close to the edge you’ll fall.”
Alex placed his hands over Kid’s holding him close “Not as long as you have me. I know you won’t let me fall.”
Jack laughed under his breath and kissed Alex lightly on the cheek, “Yeah, I got you.”

Alex and Jack drove back to Alex’s house. It began to get dark and the entire city was lighting up. Alex and Jack were in Alex’s front yard,
“I don’t want to say goodbye, Alex the city comes to life when we are together…”

Alex leaned and pushed them together, cutting Jack’s words off. It felt easy this time, like he’d been kissing Kid for a long time, and maybe it was because of tonight, but Alex was beginning to think it wasn’t that entirely; maybe it had never been about that. That first dizzy moment he’d laid eyes on him, the way his body fit against Kid’s, like the effortless lean of his motorcycle. Thick and sweet, like Kid’s smile, so much better in the daylight.

Jack smiled “God, why can’t this Thursday last forever?”
Alex patted Kid’s chest “Because then we wouldn’t to be able to create new memories.”

“So are you going to tell your parents, tomorrow?” Jack asked.
“Yeah, I have most of my stuff all ready packed. What about you? Is your tuff packed? Do your parents know?”
“My stuff is all packed and ready, we can move my stuff in tomorrow.”
“Wait, how? We haven’t even bought the place yet!”
“I bought it a week ago; I just needed someone to move in with. I’ll borrow my friends truck and we can move my stuff in tomorrow because it’s 100% packed and you can move in Saturday, m’kay?”

Alex nodded “This is so unreal.”
“Well you better start believing it.”
