I just read this story all in one and I love it so freaking much. I want to laugh, and cry, and curl into a ball because the secondhand butterflies in my stomach and feels together actually hurt. Well done! That doesn't happen often. This is one of my favorite stories!!
Also I really like your idea of him just being called Kid for now (and all of Alex's references to Kids name in that last chapter without him realizing cracked me up so much.). Its so original :) Again, I love it and you're brilliant!
