"Football is literally the most boring-"
"Chloe Alessandra Carter!" Jack turned his gaze from the Ravens game on the television to me for only a moment. "I don't ever want to hear you talk like that ever again!"
On our day off in Louisiana, Jack wanted to go watch Baltimore's football team play. Alex had plans with Rian, so Jack decided to drag me along to a sports bar.
"Jack? Can we get a picture with you?" Two girls asked him. I smirked, feeling his irritation that he had to stop watching the game even for a second.
"Of course." He smiled at them.
"Is that your girlfriend?" One of them asked.
Jack laughed. "She wishes!"
"Shut the hell up!" I smacked the back of his head.
"Domestic violence?" He raised his eyebrows.
"You're so annoying." I rolled my eyes, looking down at my phone.
He threw his arm around my shoulders and laughed. "You love me, Clo."
"Get off me. No, I don't." I said.
"Not until you tell me you love me." He replied.
"I love you, Jack. So so much." I said.
"Perfect!" He cried. "See how easy that was?"
"Almost as easy as you are." I smirked.
"That was rude. I am not easy." He said, crossing his arms.
"Jack babe, what if I said I wanted us to get out of here, go back to the bus and get naked in the back lounge?" I asked.
"I'd be down." He said. "Oh! Damn it! You got me on that one."
"Exactly."
"You're pretty cute, Chloe."
"Fuck off, Jack."
"I'll be thinking of you." He said, glancing at his phone. "Hey, your boyfriend texted me."
"How many times do I have to tell you he's not my boyfriend?" I groaned.
"Hey, is there something going on between you and Chloe?" Jack read. "Ha! Should I tell him yes? Maybe he'll understand that you don't want to date him then."
I nodded. "Perfect."
"I thought you guys were over. . . I'm trying to make my move actually." He said out loud as he typed. "You're welcome, Clo. Aren't I the best?"
"You're the best." I grinned up at him.
"Now we have to flirt when he's around. Are you sure you're okay with that?" He joked.
"Only if you can handle it." I laughed, even though flirting with Jack made my heart beat faster than it should.
We left the bar and went back to the bus early. Just our luck; Austin and Alan were there, talking to Alex and Rian who were also back early.
"Where did you guys go today?" Alex asked when we sat down with them, jack and I particularly close to each other.
"I taught Princess Chloe all about football." Jack said proudly.
"I still think American football is stupid." I shrugged.
I could fell Austin's eyes on us. Shutting my eyes, I laid my head on Jack's chest and he wrapped his arm around me.
I must have fallen asleep. Jack woke me up gently an hour later, trying not to smile. "Austin wants to talk to you."
Austin watched me walk outside and followed. "So, you and Jack?"
"Why are you so worried?" I asked.
"Because I care about you, Clo." Austin said, frowning. "He's not a one-woman man. He sleeps around, he's a player-"
"You have no idea what goes on between us!" I said angrily. Even though Jack and I being together was totally a show put on for Austin's benefit, he was pissing me off. Austin called Jack his friend, but he was going to talk about him behind his back like this?
"You're playing with fire, Chloe." He said, walking back to his bus. I went inside and looked at Jack, who burst out laughing. Believe me, I knew exactly how hot the fire was.
