We'll Be A Legend Tonight

The worst part about being part of the crew was having to wake up way earlier than the guys in the band. While Alex and Jack and Rian and Zack could sleep until half an hour before their show that day, Vinny and I had to get up and start selling merch.
"Vinny!" I whisper-yelled, rubbing my eyes. "Hurry up!"
"I'm done, I'm done." He emerged from the bathroom and I rushed in to take a shower. I was washing my hair when the door burst open.
"Hey- Oh, you're not Alex." Jack blinked.
"Jack!" I cried. "What are you doing?"
"My bad." He shrugged, turning the opposite direction. "I gotta pee."
"You really couldn't wait five minutes?" I asked dryly.
"Nope." He yawned. "I'm not even looking, although it's very tempting. Aren't you proud of me?"
"You're so annoying." I rolled my eyes.
"You love me, Chloe." He replied.
"Are you almost done?" I asked, irritated.
"Yes." He said, shutting the door on his way out.

"How was your shower this morning?" Alex asked innocently later that day.
I looked at Jack. "I hate you."
"Lying is a sin, Chloe." He wagged his finger at me.
"It's so interesting having you around." Zack said, looking at me curiously.
"Never a dull moment with Chloe around." Vinny called from his side of the tent.
"Oh, Austin was looking for you earlier." Alex grinned at me.
I groaned. "Ugh, can't he take a hint? I'm really not interested!"
"You're charming, Chloe. You can't help it." Jack said. "You attract men like nobody's business."
"Is that a good thing?" I asked slowly.
"I think so." He shrugged.
"You're terrible at giving compliments." Alex rolled his eyes.
"Chloe, you're funny and you look great naked." Jack said. "Is that better, Alex?"
"Perfect." Alex replied.
"I'm freaking starving." Jack said. "I'm going to go eat."
"I was just about to take my lunch break! I'm coming with." I said, walking with Jack to the catering tent.
"Have you met Dan and Kyle?" Jack asked as we got food.
"Who?"
"That's a no. Come on." Jack rolled his eyes, and took us to sit with two guys I'd seen around but never spoken to. "Hey, guys."
"Jack! How's it going?" The one with darker, longer hair asked.
"This is my merch girl slash private hooker. Her name's Chloe." Jack said. "Clo, this is Dan and Kyle. They're in a band called Real Friends."
"Hi, Dan and Kyle." I smiled. "Not a hooker. Just a merch girl."
"That's pretty rude of you. You shouldn't call a girl a hooker if she's not a hooker." Kyle said to Jack.
"Jack is a pretty rude person if you haven't noticed." I laughed.
"Chloe's nice though, so she makes up for my discrepancies." Jack said.
"Good thing you have Chloe." Dan said. "You ought to see the rest of our band. If only the had their own personal Chloes."
I laughed. "I'd love to meet them."
Jack and I left a little while later and he looked over at me. "You were doing it again."
I frowned. "Doing what?"
"That little thing that you do." He insisted.
"Very specific."
"Making people like you, I guess. Drawing them in." He said. "Dan likes you. I can tell."
"He's nice." I shrugged.
Jack wrapped his arm around my shoulder. "Too bad you're my girl, right?"
I laughed out loud. "Ha! As if!"
