Take A Breath And Let The Rest Come Easy –Jalex

“Jack can we watch a movie or something? This game is getting boring.” Alex complained to Jack as he almost threw the controller at the TV. “Alex, you only want to watch a movie because you keep losing.” Jack smirked. Alex knew it was true but he wasn’t going to tell him that. “Wanna bet?” And with those words Jack tackled Jack to the floor.

The two usually did things like this and Alex usually won; him being the one with stronger arms and Jack gave up way too easily. Alex and Jack continued to tickle each other until Alex ended up on top of Jack. They stopped tickling each other almost instantly. Alex was looking into Jack’s eyes and Jack was looking into his. Without hesitation both boys leaned in. Alex’s breath was hot on Jack’s cheek and Jack’s nose rested against Alex’s.

Alex brought Jack’s chin up to meet his and carefully leaned in. Jack’s lips grazed against Alex’s and he completely lost control. Alex kissed him harder and pinned Jack’s wrists beside him. Both boys weren’t pulling away; they kind of just kept going. That was until Alex pulled himself away from Jack and walked backwards until he was backed up against a wall.

“Jack I just-I don’t know- what just happened?” Alex allowed himself to walk back to Jack and sit beside him. Jack and Alex were best friends…they had been for years and they just kissed. It was obvious that they both liked it otherwise someone would have pulled away sooner.

“I don’t know Alex but we need to sort this out, I’m not losing you.” Jack said was a serious tone. Jack was never serious so Alex knew that he wasn’t going to let up easily. Thoughts ran through Alex’s mind; he knew that he had a small attraction to Jack but he thought that it would pass. Not get bigger.

“I-I think I like you.” Alex said quietly. Jack was sitting next to him so he heard everything; the small quiver that Alex had before saying ‘like’ and the way that his shoulders tensed up once he was finished his sentence.

Jack knew that he liked Alex; he had since the day that they met but he never knew Alex’s thoughts towards gays so he never said anything. The thought of losing Alex over his sexuality crushed Jack and it soon consumed his thoughts. So for the three years that they’d known each other he kept it a secret.

As many best friends were Alex and Jack were very ‘touchy’ people. They often stayed at each other’s houses and slept in the same bed [which most of the time they were cuddled together] and neither of them had a problem with it.

Alex rested his head on Jack’s shoulder and wrapped his arms around Jack’s small waist. “Please say something.” He sighed. Tears were about to fall from his eyes, he needed Jack and he wouldn’t leave his side just because of a kiss.

“A-Alex I like you too.” Jack confessed. Once Jack had finally told some he felt like a great amount of weight had been lifted from him. “And I’m not going to lose you. So if you don’t feel the same way can we at least stay fri-.” Before Jack was able to finish his sentence Alex pressed his lips against Jack’s once again.

“Jack will you be my boyfriend?” Alex asked Jack with a calm tone. He didn’t want to screw this up and right now he was worried that he had. Jack nodded his head. “Of course Alex.” Jack placed a small kiss on Alex’s nose and hugged his body closer to his. Alex was finally his.
