Life Being on Tour

"Jack.. you know you have a show tonight, right?", Vinny explained to me, after I went inside.
"Yeah, I know.."
"And you have to make sure that you're not going to puke.", he continued.
"Okay. I get it. Damn, Vinny go and annoy someone else.", I said unnerved.
"Woah, there Jack. What's wrong?", he asked wondering about my mood.
"Nothing.. I'ts nothing, okay?"
"Okay, if you say so..."
"Thank you. Give me the key to my hotel room."
"Sorry what did you say? I couldn't understand you because there's such an unfriendly undertone."
"Pleaaase? Can I have the key to my hotel room? I have to take a shower."
"There you go. It's room 402.", Vinny said, handing me the key.
"Thanks.", I replied shortly and went outside.

After I finished my shower I put on some clean clothes and went to the venue. Soundcheck was happening soon, so I hurried up.

Everything was set and we began with the soundcheck.
We started with "Coffee Shop Soundtrack", but I got interrupted by Alex.
"Jack, you're playing it wrong."
"No I don't. I play it like I always do."
"No, you're not.. Look..", he said showing me how I played.
I couldn't figure out what the mistake was, so I continued to play along and ignored the fact that Alex accused me of something I didn't do wrong.
"Seriously Jack, you're playing it wrong.", Zack now said.
"Excuse me?", I asked shocked.
"He's right, Jack. You played it wrong.", Rian agreed.
"No, I didn't!"
"Yes you did.", all three replied.
"Let's continue with the other Songs, shall we? It's only soundcheck and we have a show tonight to play.. We shouldn't waste time about what I play wrong at soundcheck. Get it.. It's only soundcheck.", I said, a little bit unnerved, trying not to let them know how pissed I actually was.
"Okay. Let's continue. I'm sure you're going to play it right at the gig."

(After soundcheck we had meet and greets, but let's just fast- forward to our gig, shall we?)

Everything went great at the begining of our gig. I played the right notes and the crowd responded well to us.
When it was time for "Coffee Shop Soundtrack" I got a little bit nervous, because I didn't want to fuck up this time. Even though I didn't fuck up at soundchek.
As I was looking through the crowd I was sure that I saw Elvira.
'Fuck, am I hallucinating? What the fuck does she here?', I thought to myself and recognized that I wasn't playing for a moment, but catched up as soon as I noticed.
"The next song that we're going to play is one you all know. It's "Damned If I Do Ya", Alex said to the crowd.
Then "Stella" followed.
After we played "Stella" Alex chatted a little with the crowd, while I was searching through the crowd for that one familiar face.
I couldn't find her.
"So, we have a surprise for you guys, we're going to play circles for you. Hopefully jack won't fuck up this time.", Alex joked, but I didn't laugh.
As we were playing Alex interrupted:"Stop, stop, stop!"
"What's wrong?", I asked.
"Jack, you're playing it wrong."
"Again, Alex? Really?"
"Sorry Jack, but he's right.", Rian said.
"What the fuck is wrong with you guys, I didn't play it wrong!"
"Woah there, calm down, okay? I'm not saying that you're a bad guitarist, I'm just saying that you're playing it wrong."
"Well fuck you guys! I'm off.", I said walking off the stage.
