( Holly pov )

"So how was the tour ?" The interviewer smiled sweetly at jack .
"It's been awesome !" Rian interrupted , as usual .
I knew I was grinning at the screen . My cheeks were hurting . I watched every interview I could , just to feel those old butterflies

I remember them all so vividly . Especially jack .

(Flash back )

"I dunno Wendy , they are your friends and-"
"oh hush Hols , you'll love them!" She grinned and knocked on the door before us . I shuffled a little behind my sister . They were in the year above us , I was certain a younger wasn't really welcome.

A boy opened the door , who I had learnt was Alex , and welcomed us in with hugs . I followed them down the basement were I could hear the faint sound of laughing .

Three boys were laughing when we entered , their attention falling onto us .
"WENDY!" One of the squealed and ran towards my sister . He had weird hair , blonde and a blackish brown , gelled into a a small mowhawk . I wash shocked when I felt him hug me
"hi I'm jack! "
"Holly " I smiled letting my eyes take in his appearance

me and jack were soon gasping for air as we chuckled at my sister , drenched in water .
"F-fuck I can't breathe- oh my god!" He gasped beside me . Wendy was laughing but her gaze scared me . She mouthed the words ' I'm gonna get you back' with a smirk on her face

(end of flash back )

"so I hear your taking a break is that right?" She held the mic to Alex who was nodding
"yeah , were off for the summer , year to be exact , back in Baltimore"

back !

I flung off my covers and rushed to Wendy's room

"THEYRE BACK THEYRE COMING BACK!" I shouted and tackled her to the ground . My veins buzzing with joy

"who?"
"alex and jack! "

( Wendy pov )

my heart came to a hault .

Alex is coming back

just like he promised me . I pushed my screaming sister away and sat up . I could imagine it all

Alex running towards me , his arms wide and that sweet smile on his face.

What would he say ? Will he remember me?

Because I remember him . His exact words before he left and that feeling he left on my lips , they stained like dye .

I hadn't talked to Alex in a year

that was far too long for best friends to not talk . I was certain my fears were true . He talked to me the first month on tour and that was it . It was like the road had swallowed me up from Alex's life . He was famous now and couldn't possibly need me , a college student with no social life .

But I just have to see him again

one more dosage of heaven , just to balance out this hell
