“Where are you?” Jack asks Alex through the phone.
We had been looking for him for the past 20 minutes. We called 3 times, but no answer. Finally, on the fourth attempt, Alex answered.
“I just needed to go somewhere. I’ll be back around 1, I promise.” Alex mutters on the other line.
Jack hangs up and turns to me. “He’ll be back later.”
I let out a long sigh and lean myself against Jack’s body. “What now?”
He hooks his arms under my knees and pulls me on top of him. “Back to the bedroom we go.” He murmurs in my ear.
I laugh as Jack runs through the house while carrying me, making me bounce up and down. He throws me against his bed and plops on top of me. He kisses my lips lightly, and slips his hands under my arms. Before I realize what he’s doing, his fingers curl and begin to tickle me. I laugh hysterically, twisting and turning. His legs peg me down and fingers go crazy against my skin.
“Jaack!” I squeal. “Let me go!”
“Tell me I win!” He demands.
“NEVER!” I get a grip of my arms and try to tickle him back. He laughs loudly, still tickling me. We both laugh until our sides ache and eyes water.
“Fine fine fine! You win!” I squeal.
Jack stops immediately and collapses on the bed next to me. “That’s all I wanted to hear.”
I crawl on top of him, out of breath. I place my lips against his and immediately, he laces his fingers through my hair. Our mouths part and tongues tangle delicately. I pull my shirt off quickly and start to pull his off.
“Someone’s eager.” He chuckles.
“Beyond.” I groan and yank the remainder of his shirt off.
With that, Jack flips me over onto my back and bites my neck hard, making sure to leave a mark. Moans escape my lips as his mouth travels down my neck and back up it.
His hand skims my lower abdomen as he whispers, “Do you want me?”
“Yes.” I whimper.
“I want to hear you say it.” He growls in my ear and bites my neck.

I do so, letting my back face to him and he begins to massage every muscle of my body. His calloused fingers work their way deep into my shoulders, running down my spine and back up. Jack leans down and massages my legs with the body wash, sending chills up my spine. Strangely, I know this isn’t sexual. I can tell that Jack is just genuinely giving me a nice massage.
He stands back up and leads me back into the water. I stand there as his hands move over my slippery skin, washing the suds off. Once I’m all clean, I go to him to do the same but he refuses.
“It’s all about you right now. Don’t worry, I’m not the one who can’t feel her legs.” He smirks at me before washing himself quickly.
I roll my eyes and wait for him to finish. We wrap ourselves up in towels and pad back to his bedroom. I drop mine to the floor and curl up in Jack’s bed under his comforter. Jack stares at me with a small smile and shakes his head. He turns his TV on and cuddles me under the blankets. We tangle our naked bodies together and watch endless amounts of Spongebob.
Time passes and before we know it, we hear the front door click open.
“You guys still here?” We hear Alex call.

“Are you laying in your bed naked?” Alex asks with an incredulous tone.
Before Jack can respond, Alex realizes what’s going on.
“Hi Emma.” He laughs.
I poke my head out from under the comforter, making sure to keep the blankets above my shoulders.

“Get dressed you two.” Alex chuckles and walks back to the living room.
As soon as he walks away, Jack jumps up and shuts the door. I throw on one of his giant hoodies and a pair of my pajama shorts. He slips on a pair of pajama pants and a black t-shirt. We make our way to the living room where Alex is pacing up and back.
“Where’d you go?” I ask him confused.
He looks up at me, his eyes wild. “Hung with Sasha for a bit. She needed me for some stuff.”
My eyebrows bunch up in confusion and look at him. He seems completely wired. His hair is all over the place and he can’t stop tapping his fingers on his thighs.
“I’m going to go to the bathroom.” Jack mutters, looking at me strangely. So I’m not the only one noticing this apparently.
As soon as the bathroom door shuts, I approach Alex.
“Is everything okay?” I ask.
His eyes look everywhere but at me as he replies, “I’m fucking great.”
I grab his jaw and force him to look at me. His usually warm brown eyes have been swallowed by his pupils and continue to dart around.
“What did you do at Sasha’s?” I asked him slowly.
“We talked. We fucked. We did coke.” With those last words, his eyes light up and he begins to hop up and down in place.
“Cocaine?” My heart races. “Alex are you fucking kidding me? Are you stupid?”
His eyes finally focus on me, glaring at me. “Who the fuck are you to talk to me like that?”
“You are ridiculous. I thought I actually got to know you last night. This is not the Alex I was talking to last night.” I growl, my eyes boring into his.
He shakes his head and an evil grin splits his face. “I’m Alex fucking Gaskarth sweetheart. No one will ever know who I am.”
Angrily, I try to shove him away. He doesn’t budge, but pushes back. I fall to the floor with a loud thud as my head hits the wooden floor. I begin to cry and Alex just looks at me. It’s as if he doesn’t even see me. His eyes look right through me, not focusing on me at all. His face grows serious as he sits on the couch. Jack comes running out from the bathroom and cradles me in his arms. Before he can even ask what happened, I turn to Alex.
“What the fuck Alex!” I cry. “I trusted you!”
He thinks for a moment, before turning to me and saying, “Never trust the enemy.”
