Unexpected

Zack’s POV

The guys and I decided to have guy’s night. It’s usually the night when we eat, drink (sometimes we get drunk), and talk about our children. I was enjoying a really good grilled chicken with Rian who wasn’t very paying attention to Alex either as he discusses our kid’s first love. Mackenzie doesn’t have problems, does she?

Alex started to ask questions like how do you handle them? Should we let them have sex? Questions I really didn’t know how to answer, so I just kept munching the chicken with Rian. We were joking around and not taking anything seriously. It seemed like only Jack was listening.

“Guys! Are you even listening?” Alex asked with a disturbed look.

“No, we’re sorry.” Rian said.

“You guys should actually listen. We need help.” Jack said. He was going through the same thing as Alex. The two of them looked somewhat desperate.

“Okay.” I put my fork down. “What’s going on?”

“You know, girl problems.” Jack said with a pouty face

“I have a daughter, so I don’t really know.. And she doesn’t really have problems. I’m sorry.”

“Graham doesn’t have girl problems, so whatever you guys are going through, I don’t really know how to handle. You just gotta roll with it, I guess.” Rian said pointing to Jack and Alex

“Well, that would be a hell lot easier if your son isn’t head over heels over one of your best friend’s kid?” Alex said then looked up with wide eyes.

“Both Graham and Colin are guys and Sebastian is most certainly not gay. Alex, do you have any other best friends?” Rian started to grin at me

“Are you saying?” I gave the three of them an annoyed look.

“It’s definitely Mackenzie, Zack. Now you also have problems don’t you?” Jack said at me with a mocking tone. He grinned at me then he quickly looked at Alex. “It’s Mackenzie right?”

I was surprised, my mouth was a bit opened and I was trying to absorb what just happened.

“Okay, fine. It’s Mackenzie, but the three of you should promise me and by promise, I mean you shouldn’t talk or even think about it outside our little group. Okay? You have to promise me.”

“Okay, we promise.” We said in unison.

“When you see them, just act cool. Got it?”

“Geez, calm down! We got it.” Jack said

“It’s actually quite obvious, you can see it in Sebastian’s eyes that he’s got the hots for Mackenzie.” Rian said before he started eating again while Jack chuckled.

“Oh my God, can you not say that?” I started to cover my face with my hands. I could hear the guys just chuckling at me.
