Everything's Magic

What the Fuck Did I Even Do?

When Alex got home from school, he instantly grabbed his bike and said goodbye to his mum, making his way to the bridge.

Things were on his mind again, and the bridge seemed to only drift them away. It's just the sound of the river splashing softly against the rocks, the birds singing peacefully to their own melody, and the sound of the wind hitting the leaves that hang from the high-up, beautiful trees; it calmed him down. He's never been a fan of nature before. He barely ever went outside, but his mum had forced him to get fit by actually going outside. So, with no friends to take him out, he finds the most beautifully interesting places his eyes have never seen before. It's an adventure, and he loves everything about it. You could say he was grateful for his mum forcing him to go explore the outside.

~~~
After biking past the rich houses that were freshly painted, peddling up the steep-ish hill, he finally arrived at the bridge. He sat his bike down, and went to sit in the ledge of the bridge, instantly spotting the house that belonged to that one guy he didn't want to think about at the moment. He averted his eyes down at the river. It's sure the clearest river Alex has ever seen. It looked pretty deep, even though you could see the pebbles and stones that lay underneath.
He smiled, but then suddenly gasped as he felt a vibration in his pocket.
His hand sneaked into his hoodie pocket, pulling out the black, high-tech expensive looking phone. He, in no way, knew how to work the thing. He's used to little block phones like the very old Nokia and Blackberry's.
Shit. Jack's phone. Was all Alex could mentally say, quickly placing it back into his pocket.
He had no idea if Jack wanted it back or not. He did say he could keep it, but Alex could tell something about the phone was special to Jack, otherwise he wouldn't of got so mad over it. Or maybe he's that teenage boy whose obsessed with his phone and won't let anyone on it in case they find something on it that he doesn't want anyone to discover. Yeah, that sounded a lot more like Jack.
Alex sighed heavily, getting off the ledge and grabbing his bike, deciding to go visit the grey statue he remembered from yesterday.
Once he arrived at the grey, not very tall, statue, he sat down on the concrete base. He was facing the set of narrowed trees with a stone path that led to the house upon the hill.
He looked down, looking at all the stones around him. He hummed, picking a bright white stone, then threw it away. He smiled down at the ground, looking at all the stunning coloured stones and rocks. They are very interesting. He picked up a couple now and then, comparing them to each other. Being here is like heaven. It's quiet, relaxing and just outstanding.
His head snapped up when he heard a crackle of the stones from a distance, then, he saw shoes stop right in front of him.
He flickered his eyes up to who the body belonged to. And when he saw them dark brown, beautiful eyes with tears rolling down them, he kept in a gasp.
The body clasped into him, hugging him tightly while crying into his neck.
Alex held him close, rubbing his back gently.
"Jack, what's wrong?" He asks while Jack's grip tightened on him, Alex's hoodie clenched around Jack's hands.
"I'm sorry." Jack whispered, a sob coming out after. Alex sighed softly as Jack pulled back from the hug.
"Come here." Alex opened his arms, a sad smile on his lips. He's never seen Jack cry before, but he knew he hated it already.
Jack moved so his head was resting on Alex's head, he body curled up next to him. Alex stroked his hair while he sniffed, trying to control his tears. Alex rested his cheek on Jack's head, staring of into the distance.
He couldn't help but love the way Jack's body was against his, how warm he felt, not to mention how great he smelt. He sure had butterflies in his belly, even by the simplest cuddle. It just felt...right.
After a couple minutes of cuddling, Jack's tears were gone and his sniffs were less frequent.
"Are you okay now?" Alex asks, as he takes his head off of Jack's. Jack just nods against Alex's chest, and the pink-haired boy just smiled.
"Do you wanna tell me what was wrong?" He asks nicely, shifting a little to make himself comfortable- seeing as he was sat in the same place for at least ten minutes. Jack just sniffs, lifting his head up, staring right at Alex's eyes. Alex stares back, noticing how his eyes aren't so pink, but his bags were. They continue to stare at each other for a moment, trying to read each others' minds.
Jack's eyes began to flicker down Alex's nose, all the way until they were concentrated on his soft-looking lips. He really wanted to feel them on his once again. He leaned in, still looking down at Alex's lips, not concerned about anything but them.
Alex had notice and leaned in too, meeting Jack halfway. But there was no kiss. No, Jack wasn't even in reach. He was running away.
"Jack!" Alex stood up, shouting his name until he was no longer seen. He let out a loud frustrated groan, cussing under his breath as he kicked the statue, soon regretting it as a twinge of pain went up his foot, but it wasn't too bad. He angrily got on his bike, biking home as fast as he could.
~~~

"Hey, Alex, ho-" He didn't hear the rest of what his mum said, as the sound of his bike being slammed against the wall blocked out the rest of her sentence.

He stormed upstairs, slamming his door shut and went over to his bed, face first into his pillow.

What did I do to him that makes him hate me?

He punched the bed, then let small tears pierce his eyes.

What the fuck did I even do?
