Everything's Magic

Alex knocked softly on the door, listening closely to his most dreaded sound: the sound of crying.

"Go. Away. Do I have to spell it out for you?! Piss off." Jack yelled, his voice hoarse and tired. Alex felt his heart break at the sound of how upset he was.

He was thinking twice about just letting him be or to comfort him.

[A/N: But Shay Cee pushed him out the way and knocked the door down because he was too slow at everything ;) ]

"Jack, open the door." He said with a soft tone, sighing along after. There was no reply so Alex placed his hand on the door handle, slowly pulling it down.

It was. unlocked.

Jack realised this, but before he could reach over and lock it, Alex had already stuck half his body through it. Alex quickly got the rest of his body in the room, moving over to Jack. He crouched down and hugged him tight.

He held him tightly and let him cry on his chest. He tried calming him down by shushing and talking sweetly to him, but it didn't seem to work. He set on singing the song that seemed to make Jack happy: "Everything's Magic".

Jack seemed to calm down a lot easier by focusing on Alex's voice. He noticed all the breaths he took in and when his voice went a little higher. He was focusing so much on Alex's eyes and his voice strung out to his ears, filling them with angelic longing sounds, he didn't notice he had stopped crying.

That was until Alex stopped singing and the room fell into silence. They both stared at each other, and took in features of one another even though they've done it before.

"Jack," Alex took a breath, "I'll be here for you, okay?" He held onto Jack tighter, and Jack's head fell into the crook of his neck.

"Yeah." He whispered, his voice dry and deep from crying so much.

"If you ever need me, I'm gonna be there for you, no matter what. I'd spin a car around on the motorway (highway) and drive the opposite way for you. I'd drop everything I'm holding just for you, Jack. I've admired you for so long, it was starting to get painful that I couldn't have you. This is really gay, I know," Alex let out a little laugh, and so did Jack, "but really, Jack, I've been wanting you for a long time. Okay! I sound like a serial killer." They laughed again, and Alex was really happy that his lame jokes (if they were even classed as jokes), made Jack happier.

"Mm, you're dumb, but I like you." Jack smirked, giving Alex a kiss on the lips.

"I hope so," The pink haired boy laughed, pulling Jack in for another kiss. It was sweet and gentle, and they both loved every second of it.

"Come on, it's getting late. Do you want me to stay over again?" Alex asked, his thumb rubbing up and down Jack's waist gently, his other hand on his neck.

"Of course, dickhead. Come on." Jack started getting up, and Alex removed his body from him. Jack held out a hand and Alex gratefully took it.

They made their way up stairs. Jack was still, of course, sad about his father, but with he finally realised he has someone now. Someone who needed and wanted him so bad. He felt cared for when he was with Alex, he felt loved, but he didn't want to go into the love part. Being cared for was enough.

"You're beautiful." Alex yawned, turning around and wrapping his arms around Jack's waist. Said boy blushed at Alex's words, butterflies in his belly.

"Well, you're gorgeous, sexy and stunning, sir." Jack giggled, pecking Alex on the lips, smiling as he rested his head in the crook of Alex's neck, letting out a happy sigh.

"Thanks, peasant." Alex grinned, resting his head on top of Jack's and closed his eyes.

The last thing he heard was Jack mumble a protest against what he had called him before he fell asleep in his arms.
