Bucket list

Erin opened her front door smiling to herself. It was nice for her to get out of the house for a bit but by choice she would spend all her time with Alex.
'Alex I'm home,' she called, closing the door behind her.
Alex ran down the stairs tripping over the bottom step as he went, making Erin giggle at her husbands clumsiness.
'How was your day baby?' Alex asked, pulling Erin in for a peck on the cheek.
'It was nice thankyou, but it's nice to be home.'

Alex smiled at his wife before taking her by the hand and leading her into their living room. She sat down on the sofa and took the remote control, turning the television on before looking up at me.
'What do you want to watch Lex?'
'I really don't mind put on whatever you want too.'

In all honesty all Alex cared about was seeing the note again and being reading what Erin had written. He spent the whole evening thinking about it, during dinner, whilst cuddling up on the sofa and especially when he was laid in bed that night. He looked down at Erin in his arms but couldn't help but feel bad for not helping her more. Maybe this Bucket list will help him find a way to do so.
