We walked up to the venue. A hushed "wow" escaped my lips; I couldn't believe this was happening! In a couple of hours, I would be seeing them. My brother started talking. "Last time I was here with Meg, we were standing in line, and they just walked across right near us, and we got to meet them." Meg was his ex-girlfriend. She had bought them tickets, and while waiting in line, the band approached them, and my brother got a picture with Alex. I had thought it was the coolest thing ever. "Blake," I said in a hushed whisper.
"What?"
"There they are."
And there they were. Walking across to the back entrance. They were probably a hundred yards away from us. Every other girl beside me screamed, but I was speechless. Oh my God. They exist. It just made the entire experience even more surreal.
The line started moving, and we finally got in. We were probably in the middle of the crowd. After an hour of waiting, some music started to come on, and the lights started to dim. The crowd hushed, and all of the sudden one loud guitar note played. The crowd started screaming as the lights brightened. There they were! They started to play "The Reckless and The Brave" and I couldn't help but sing along. I was so happy to be there. The song eventually wound down.
"Hey Charlotte, how ya doing?" Alex shouted. Everyone started to cheer. "HI." Jack screamed, and the crowd replied by saying "Hi" back or screaming. Alex started to talk again "So we're All Time Low, we're the pop sensation you've heard all about," which was recieved with more laughter and some dude in the crowd saying "TAKE OFF YOUR CLOTHES."
"Don't ruin the surprise!" Jack yelled. Alex laughed. "Alright, we're gonna play some more songs and possibly get naked, who knows." Everyone cheered, and the first notes of Coffee Shop Soundtrack started to play. I smiled. This was every bit as amazing as I thought it would be.
