On Tuesday, I got a call from Jordan saying that he suggested he come over to see how Jack and I were doing with finding people to possibly hire.

I thought nothing of it as I agreed, telling him to be at our house at six-thirty. Jack was upstairs taking a nap, so I decided to let him continue sleeping because I knew he didn't like Jordan much. So when Jordan arrived, Jack was still sound asleep.

"Hey girl! How are you!?" Jordan asked, making me smile as I let him in.

"I'm good Jordan! How're you?" I asked as I shut the door.

"Better than ever! Thanks for asking," he said as I sat on the couch. He sat down next to me, sitting a little too close for comfort, but I let it slide.

"So, shall we get started?" I asked, turning to look at him.

"Of course," he said, his voice deep. I scrunched my eyebrows together, and looked away. But that was short-lived when Jordan grasped my chin in his forefinger and thumb, forcing me to look at him.

"What are you-" I was cut short by his lips on mine. I was absolutely horrified. I placed my hands on his chest and pushed, successfully pushing him off of me and onto the floor. He landed on his ass with a quiet hiss as I glared daggers at him.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!?" I exploded, probably waking both Jack and Jackie. Jordan smirked. I stood up and stepped closer to him, clenching my fists.

"I just couldn't help myself with such a pretty girl like you," he said. That only angered me more. The fact that the bastard was enjoying this pissed me right the fuck off.

"Rebecca?" Jack asked, his voice thick with sleep. I looked over at Jack and my eyes filled with tears. I felt like I'd betrayed him, and I didn't do anything.

"Jack. I... I," I said, looking from him to Jordan who still had a smirk gracing his features. A tear fell down my left cheek, and I collapsed onto the couch, putting my face in my hands as the tears came flowing all at once.

"What the fuck did you do?" Jack growled. To who? I don't know.

"Oh, I didn't do anything, Mr. Barakat. It was all Rebecca. Now, I've gotta go," Jordan said calmly, and I heard him get up and leave. I looked up at Jack. To say he looked pissed would be an understatement.

"Jack, I swear. I didn't do anything," I cried. He didn't move, just crossed his arms. I stood up and approached him, pulling him into me. He un-crossed his arms, but didn't hug me back as I tightened my arms around his neck, burying my face in his chest. When he finally placed his hands on my hips, it was to push me away.

"Jack," I begged, looking into his eyes.

"Tell me what happened," he said coldly. I nodded and swallowed before taking a deep breath.

"Jordan called me earlier to tell me he was coming over to see how we were doing with the planning," I started, my voice shaking. I couldn't look at Jack in the eyes.

"And when he got here, he sat next to me on the couch. He was incredibly close, and he... He grabbed my chin and he..." I said, swallowing again, "he kissed me." I met Jack's eyes, and he glared at me.

"He did what?" He growled, stepping closer to me.

"Jack I swear! He kissed me!" I said, stepping back as Jack stepped closer.

"How am I supposed to believe that! I knew something was up with him! The way he looked at you! I can't believe you even invited him over without my consent!" Jack yelled. I couldn't step back anymore. The couch was right behind me. I choked on a sob and pushed Jack backward so I could move.

"Why are you blaming this on me!?" I yelled back.

"Because I can't trust you around other men!" Jack yelled back. As soon as the words left his mouth, it looked like he instantly regretted it.

"You can't trust me? You know that everything that happened wasn't my fault! Get the fuck away from me!" I yelled, and I stormed past him. I grabbed my keys, phone, and wallet, and I left the house, slamming the front door behind me. I approached my truck and unlocked the doors before getting in.

I sat in my car for a couple minutes, just crying before I gathered myself and started the engine. I pulled out of the driveway and drove to over top Zack's house because I didn't visit him enough. When I pulled up in front of his house, I could hardly see anything. I got out of my car and walked up the drive and to Zack's front door, and I knocked.

"Hey Rebecca.. what's wrong?" Zack asked. I sniffed and wiped under my eyes.

"Jack and I got in a fight, so I left and decided to come here," I said. Zack smiled sadly and pulled me into a hug, and he let me cry for a while before bringing me all the way inside.

"Tell me what happened," Zack asked softly once I was comfortable on his couch, and I did. Zack listened the whole time. He didn't interrupt me, and I appreciated it.

"So, you tried to tell him what happened and he wouldn't have it?" Zack asked. I nodded and looked up at him.

"What should I do, Zack?" I asked.

"Just give him a day or two to cool down," he said.

"What if... Oh God! What if he doesn't want to be with me anymore?" I asked, panic clear in my voice. Zack sighed.

"Trust me.. He loves you. Just stay with me tonight, and we can talk to him together tomorrow, okay?" Zack asked. I nodded.

"Thanks Zacky. You're amazing," I muttered. Zack only smiled and kissed my forehead before standing up and grabbing a pillow off the loveseat. He handed it to me before leaving to get a blanket. When I was comfy, Zack turned the lights off and went to bed.
