When time came for us to order, I had to frantically decide what I wanted as the waitress took everyone's orders.

"Medium rare steak with the side," I heard Jack say, then it was my turn. I hesitated, but gave her my order.

"Same," I said. She nodded & I set my menu down, looking around the table. They were all looking at me with amused expressions.

"Oh shut up," I said. They laughed & started up conversations with each other. I looked down at my lap, placing my hands on my thighs. I felt a hand on my left shoulder, so I looked up & met Jack's gaze.

"What's wrong?" He asked. I didn't answer him, although I wanted to say I didn't like ordering at restaurants, but I felt like that was stupid. When he knew I wasn't gonna say anything, he pulled my chair right next to his. It wasn't much of a distance, but Alex & Zack, who were across from us, noticed & looked at us with confusion.

"Tell me what's wrong," Jack said in just above a whisper. I met his gaze once more, but I let it drop down to his nose, & then his lips. How I wanted to kiss those lips... but I couldn't. Jack would never like me back, & he would eventually find out I got slight anxiety when I ordered food.

However, I let my gaze meet his eyes so Alex & Zack, who were still watching, wouldn't get suspicious.

"Jack, I'm fine," I said. He sighed.

"That's a lie, but I'll take it. For now," he said. He turned away & I returned my chair to its original spot as our food came.

After we had all eaten, we got up & made our way back to the bus, which made my feet hurt even more; to the point where I was forced to stop, making everyone else stop as well.

"What's up?" Alex asked.

"My feet are killing me," I said.

"Would you like a piggy-back ride?" Zack asked. I smiled & nodded. I removed my heels & jumped on Zack's back. He grabbed my thighs, & hoisted me all the way up.

"Jacky, could you carry these for me?" I asked, showing him my shoes. He scowled, but quickly replaced it with a sour smile as he took my shoes from me. I thanked him, & we all continued back to the bus, Jack far away from Zack and I.

When we were back on the bus, I jumped down off of Zack's back & moved to the couch. Jack entered last after Alex & he set my shoes down angrily, not glancing at anyone as he headed towards his bunk. That made me feel extremely guilty, so I followed him. He was in his bunk, the only one with the curtain pulled shut. I sighed & tugged on it, pulling it open.

"Jack... could I talk to you?" I asked as I stared at his back. He only ignored me.

"Fine. I'll be in my bunk, ready to talk when you are," I said, pulling the curtain shut a little too forcefully. I turned around & knelt next to my suitcase. I dug through it, finding my pajamas. I laid them in my bunk & quickly wriggled out of my dress. I pulled on my bottoms & removed my bra, then I pulled on my long-sleeved shirt, also quickly. I rolled the black sleeves up to my elbows, & shoved the removed clothes into my suitcase.

I heard movement from behind me, & saw Jack trying to get back in his bunk.

"You ready to talk now?" I asked. He looked at me & nodded sheepishly.

"Let's go outside then," I said. I grabbed his hand & dragged him outside with me.

This would be interesting.
