"You know what, Alex? I don't like her at all! She's annoying as fuck," I heard Jack say as I approached the bunk area.

I froze & settled myself against the wall next to the entrance so I could hear. I wasn't one to eavesdrop, but I was curious.

"You should! She isn't that bad!" Alex defended. This made me wonder who they were talking about. I listened more intently.

"She's annoying at times, yes, but not very often. We can't just leave her," Alex continued.

"Why not? It's not like she needs us anymore. You saw her yesterday," Jack shot back. They could be talking about anyone. Was it me? Surely it couldn't be, but I was with them yesterday.

"Whatever, Jack. Do whatever you want with her," Alex said. I heard them both coming towards me, & I quickly ran across the small area & into the lounge, plopping myself onto the sofa with a heavy sigh.

"Hey, Rebecca," Alex said with a smile. I returned it as he sat down.

"Hey... I sorta heard your conversation with Jack," I said slowly. He cocked a bushy eyebrow.

"Is that right?" Alex asked.

"It's right," I confirmed, "who were you talking about?"

"Lisa. Jack & I caught her cheating on me, so I dumped her," Alex said.

"Oh. I'm sorry to hear that," I said, relief filling my insides. It wasn't me, but Lisa.

"She's gone, Alex. For good this time," Jack said as he entered the bus.

"Hey Becca," he said happily with a huge grin. I blushed & looked at Alex.

"How come no one else gets to call you 'Becca?'" Alex questioned.

"Because... I don't know," I muttered with a shrug of my shoulders.

"Because she likes me more than everyone else," Jack said, placing himself next to me, giving me butterflies, "isn't that right, Becca?" How right could he get?

"I'm not answering that, Jack-o," I said, knowing Alex would feign hurt. Jack smiled, almost like he knew my answer, & he kissed my cheek, making them turn scarlet.

"Jesus... blush much?" Zack asked as he & Rian entered the bus. I only blushed deeper, making the four of them laugh.

"Don't laugh at me! Jack, make them stop!" I complained. He stopped laughing and grinned.

"C'mon, guys. You heard her; stop," Jack said. They slowly recovered from their laughing fit.

"So, Matt said that we have a fancy dinner tonight, since it's our day off, so we should go get ready. You too, Rebecca," Rian said. I nodded, & we all departed.

I went to my bunk & tossed my phone onto the sheet-covered mattress before finding my suitcase. I dug around in it, finding my lovely navy blue dress, my black heels, & a necklace to go with it. I quickly claimed the bathroom & changed. After, I curled my hair, fixed my makeup, & grabbed my necklace off the counter.

I exited the bathroom & bumped into Jack. He took in my appearance & smiled.

"Do you mind putting this on for me?" I asked as I held up the piece of jewelry.

"I don't mind one bit," he said with a smile. I smiled and turned around, moving my hair over my shoulder, & he clasped it around my neck for me. I turned around & smiled timidly at him.

"Thanks," I said softly.

"No problem," he said quietly, the smile never leaving his lips.

"Yo love birds! Let's go!" Vinny yelled. I blushed & broke our eye contact. I led Jack off the bus, & we all walked to a restaurant that wasn't too far from the bus, but hurt my feet nonetheless.

"This place is lovely," I said when we entered the restaurant.

"You're lovely," Jack whispered in my ear as he stalked past me. I blushed once again as we all found a vacant table. The only seat left when I got to the table was next to Jack. I sighed to myself & took the seat, looking around at everyone.

They all knew something I didn't; I could tell.

How are you guys liking it so far? I won't be updating twice a day once all seven chapters are up, but I'm going to do two today and two tomorrow, just to make it go faster.

Once all the chapters are up, I'll be doing one chapter each day, unless something happens and I can't.
