You Had Me At Hello

Jack came round to my house the next day so we could walk to school together.
"Hey" he smiled, leaning against a pillar thing on the porch.
"Just a hey?" I laughed and locked the front door. As soon as I turned back round Jack his lips were pressed to mine.
"Better?" He smiled as he pulled away
"Course it is, Jacky" I laughed and linked my hand in his and we started walking. It was fairly warm but I had my hoodie on anyway. "You'll need to do your presentation today" I reminded him while we walked
"Fuck. I forgot about that" he sighed. "Wanna do it for me?" Jack laughed and I shook my head smiling
"Not really, I've done mine" I stuck my tongue out at him. "When's the dance again?" I asked him as we turned the corner to the school
"Like next month. Why?" Jack asked
"Well I'm going to have to get a dress aren't I?" I smiled up at him. "Holly said we should go out shopping soon. Is it just for seniors?" I asked him and he nodded
"Yeah, we have this then prom in summer" he explained to me
"Ah right. It's better than my old school then" I smiled and we walked to the music class.

"I want to have a free period today" Mr Hastie announced. "The people that haven't done their presentations can do it tomorrow" there were a few cheers from the class and he laughed and went to sit at his desk and putting headphones on.
"Rebecca, can I talk to you?" Gaskarth asked me as the class started talking
"Uh..yeah?" I replied confused. He led me over to the back cupboard where the guitars are kept. "Sup, Gaskarth?"
"How are you and Jack?" He asked, sitting down on the floor
"Fine. Why?" I was still confused. I mean yeah, we argued last night but we made up and shit.
"Because I seen how you were last night, remember?" Alex sighed and I sat beside him
"I know, but we made up. It's fine Alex" I smiled at him, he still seemed upset. "Alex. What the fuck is going on?" I asked him, my smile fading
"Nothing. It's fine" he tried to lie. I wasn't having any of it
"Alex" I said, my face serious. "Tell me"
"My parents want to move" he mumbled.
"What? Seriously? No! They can't!" my voice raised and our friends glanced over at us. "No, what? When?" I continued to ramble
"Like two months. Should I tell them?" He asked me and I nodded
"Yeah! How come you told me first?" I got up and helped him up too
"I feel like I can open up to you more, Rebecca" he admitted and we walked back to the group.
"What's up?" Jack asked, pulling me onto his lap.
"My parents want to move. We're going in two months" Gaskarth quietly explained
"What?" Jack, Zack and Rian said at the same time
"No" Holly said quietly
"Yeah" he nodded, pulling her into a hug
"Where?" Kevin asked
"I'm not sure" he pulled Holly closer to him
"Stay with us" Jeremy spoke up
"What?" We all said
"Stay with us. Me, Josh, Kevin, Alex and Neil have a house. It's like a band one but our parents help support it" Jeremy explained.
"Nah, man. I couldn't do that, it's your house and there's already five of you" Gaskarth sighed. "Thanks though" he smiled at them
"What about mine? Stay with me? My mom and dad won't mind, they're never in and we've got the spare room" Jack spoke up. "You can't leave" he added
"I don't think my mom would allow it dude" Alex sighed, again
"Your mom could speak to Jack's mom" Holly said. We all looked over at her. "I don't want you to go, I've just properly started hanging out with you" she said quietly. He just hugged her even more and kissed her temple. They were so cute and they weren't even dating.
"Alex. Please. Just get Jack's mom to speak to yours" I sighed and leaned back into Jack.
"Fine. When though?" Gaskarth asked
"Tonight" Jack spoke confidently. "Come round with your mom and we'll sort stuff out" he said. "Fuck, everyone just come round and stay over" Jack smiled and we all agreed to go to Jack's at half six.

"Zack. Come here for a minute" I called from my bedroom
"What's up?" Zack smiled at me as he walked into my room
"Do you think mom would mind if I got a tattoo?" I smiled and he just laughed.
"Nope, what you wanting to get?" He smiled, sitting down on my bed while I quickly packed a bag for Jack's.
"The Blink bunny" I smiled
"Get it" Zack laughed and I stood up.
"Ready?" I asked and we headed to Jack's.

Alex's mom's car was already at Jack's.
"Shit" I bit my lip nervously as we pulled up to Jack's
"I know. Go round the back?" Zack asked and I nodded. We got out the car and went round the back to find everyone out there. I ran up to Alex and hugged him
"Good luck" I smiled. He hugged me back
"Why do I need luck?" He smiled. "Everything's sorted" everyone cheered and held up the beers they were drinking
"Seriously!? Yey!" I shouted and jumped about
"Hey, calm down there" Jack smiled and came over to me
"I'm just happy he's not leaving" I smiled, Jack just laughed and pulled me into a hug.
"I love how much you care for everyone" he turned me round and kissed me
"Get a room!" Neil shouted and threw a bottle cap at us
"Fuck off" I smiled then pouted and went to get a drink from the kitchen. We stayed outside for like three hours till Alex and Jack's mom's came out to speak to us.
"Alex, that's me going home" Gaskarth's mom said
"Okay. Bye mom, see you later" he smiled and hugged her. I awwed and she laughed
"Good to see you again, Rebecca" she smiled at me. I raised my bottle to her
"You too" I smiled and she laughed
"Okay, well. That's me away. We'll need to organise a party before we go" she said and left through the house.
"Wanna go watch something?" Jack asked us when Alex's mom left. We all said yeah so we went up to Jack's room and put some random dvd on.
