You Had Me At Hello

Alien's Exist filled my empty room. That told me that my phone was ringing, I looked at it and seen that I had multiple texts from May, Holly and Jack. It was half two in the morning, I didn't realise I'd fallen asleep.
"Hi" I said into the phone
"Rebecca. What the fucks going on?" May asked me loudly
"What?" I asked her
"You and Jack. What happened?" her voice softened. I got up and walked over to my drawers, I needed to walk and clear my head but I had to change first.
"We had a fight" I mumbled, fighting back the tears
"I figured that much. What about though?" she asked
"Because I wouldn't tell him what happened with you and Justin" I sighed, changing into skinny jeans and a New Found Glory shirt.
"Seriously? That's it?" She sounded confused.
"Yup. Why do you ask anyway?" I asked her
"Jack won't come out his room. He didn't even come down for dinner" May told me, I could hear the worry in her voice. I stayed silent. "Listen, you guys will sort it out eventually, kay? I'm gonna go see if he needs anything. Phone me if you need anything, bye Rebecca" May said
"Thanks. Bye May" I said into the phone, putting shoes on, grabbing a hoodie, earphones and my keys before walking outside. I didn't know where I was going but I just walked. I dug my hands into my hoodie pockets and found a cinema ticket. It was one if the times Jack and I went out, just ourselves. My eyes brimmed with tears and I shoved the ticket back in my pocket and carried on walking. Somehow, I ended up outside Gaskarth's house so I phoned him.
"Alex?" I asked into the phone
"What's up?" He asked back
"I'm outside" I answered. He hung up, opened his bedroom window and waved me up. I climbed up and into his room.
"Okay. What's up?" He asked, making me sit down
"I don't know what to do" I mumbled, playing with the sleeves of my hoodie. "May said Jack hasn't been out his room" I added
"Seriously? Jack, not leaving his room? Fuck" Alex was just as surprised as I was. I nodded, wiping my eyes with my sleeve. "You do realise you're wearing his hoodie and shirt don't you?" He asked me. I looked down at my clothes and fell backwards onto Alex's bed. I raised my hands to my eyes. "has he phoned?" He asked
"He texted. But I must've been asleep" I quietly laughed.
"Have you read the messages?" He asked. I shook my head.
"Should I?" I asked and he nodded, so we read them together.

Rebecca, listen. I didn't mean it. I was just pissed that May told you first then told you not to tell me. I'm sorry<3xxxx

I get if you're mad at me, just please answer and tell me you're okay<3xxxx

I'm being serious Rebecca. You stormed away earlier and I don't even know if you got home safely. Just please answer me. I need to know you're okay<3xxxx

All I can think of right now is the time Neil and I pulled you into the pool when you visited five years ago. You got out straight away and just stormed off, we looked everywhere for you for a good three hours till Shelnutt found you sitting up a tree. You stayed up there for so long because you were stuck and we had to call someone to come get you down. I'll sound crazy but I miss you<3xxxx

"Text him or phone him or go round to see him Rebecca" Alex told me after we read the messages.
"I know I should" I lay back down.
"At the very least let him know you're okay" he said, I nodded. "I can't believe he remembers that. Jack only remembers things that mean a lot to him" Alex told me
"I know. I can't believe it either" I smiled, weakly. Then I froze, I reached into the hoodie pocket and pulled out the cinema ticket.
"What did you go see?" Alex asked.
"It's not mine. It's Jack's. We went to the cinema a few weeks ago, just us, and he kept the ticket" I looked down at the ticket in my hands and tears fell down my face. "You said he only remembers things that mean a lot to him" I looked up at Alex and he nodded.
"Rebecca. Please, just go see him, please" Alex looked me right in the eyes. His eyes had a hint of sadness in them. I wiped my tears and nodded. We said our goodbyes and I headed to Jack's.

"May. I'm outside" I said into my phone as I stood outside the Barakat house. She ran right down the stairs, opened the door and ran to me, pulling me into a hug.
"Don't you ever, ever argue about me again. You hear?" she tried to lighten the mood as she seen my tear stained face. I smiled and nodded. "You need to speak to him" she said and practically pushed me inside and up to Jack's room. His door was closed but I could hear Blink-182 playing. I knocked.
"May. Fuck off" he said. I looked at her and she motioned for me to just go in, so I did. "I said fuck off May" he sighed and looked up. His eyes were as red as mine. "Rebecca" Jack stood up and ran to me, wrapping his arms around me. "I am so so so so so so sorry" he said into my hair and kissing my head.
"Me too, Jack" I said, wrapping my arms around him too
"You know I love you, right?" He asked me. I went into the pocket and pulled out the cinema ticket and nodded, showing him it.
"I love you too" I smiled.
"Hey. I've been looking for that shirt" he said and I looked down. I gave him an innocent smile. "You know, I buy clothes for myself but they always seem ten times nicer on you" he told me
"Just the way things are, Jacky" I shrugged, smiling
"I love you" he smirked at me
"You've said" I smiled back
"I know. I just wanted to let you know" he replied, leaning down and kissing me.

Notes

I know this is short but I've had a lot on my mind recently. Everything's just slowly all coming together in one big bundle of problems which all seem to relate to each other. I'm doing my best to keep myself busy though so that's a bonus. Anywho, I couldn't keep them fighting. I dunno, they're just too cute in my opinion.
