Sick Little Games

Jack's POV:

Today is finally the day that Alex and I graduate. Free from school , forever. That sounds amazing. We can move into a little flat together and get married one day and adopt some kids and finally have our own little family. I can't wait for the day that our family is complete. I've been dreaming of that day for so long, even more now since Alex came into my life.

For once, I'd woken up before the alarm blared through the room. Alex was still asleep, curled up into my side, soft snores escaping his parted lips. He looked so peaceful, so calm. His face was relaxed and his cheeks were slightly rosy. His messy bed hair had fallen over his forehead a little more than usual, but he still managed to pull it off. He looked adorable. I love the way his eyes were slightly crinkled at the edges, the way he tucked his knees into his chest, being the little spoon in our current position. He looked incredibly cute. I grabbed my phone from the bedside table, moving with stealth so I didn't wake the sleeping boy next to me. I opened the camera and snapped a few shots of shirtless Alex, asleep and curled up against me.
"Jay? Why did you just take a picture of me sleeping?"
I jumped as Alex's raspy morning voice brought me out of my thoughts.
"I, um, you-I just, you were so cute...I'm sorry, I could resist."
Alex chuckled at me stumbling over the words in my sentence.
"It's okay, I guess it makes up for the numerous amount of pictures I have of you on my phone asleep."
"You what?"
Alex turned in my arms so he was now facing me.
"Face it, Jay. You could sleep through an earthquake. You're hardly going to wake up from a quiet sound of a camera."
Alex was smirking now, his eyes gaining the unmistakable glint they get when he's in a happy mood.
"You're happy today."
I kissed his nose, making him giggle. Fucking giggle.
"Well, what else am I supposed to feel when I woke up with my boyfriend calling me cute and today is the day we both leave that fucking hell-hole forever."
"You have a point."
"I always have a point, Jay. You should know that by now."
"Unfortunately, yes, I do know that. Come on, let's shower."
"Together?"
"Yes, together, Lex? Why wouldn't we?"
"I don't know, you know what happens every time we take a shower together and I know for certain that I do not want your mum hearing us...yet again."
I outstretched my hand and pulled Alex up with me and into the bathroom so we could shower ready for the day ahead.
"Just a shower, Lex. Nothing more."
"Okay, but you're rubbing my back."
"You're such an old man."

We were now stood side stage in alphabetical order, wearing the ridiculous fucking robes they give you, waiting to be called up on stage. I could just about see Alex from where I was standing. I felt my phone buzz in my pocket.
From Lexxy G: Nearly time, Jay. You look very hot in that robe of yours.
Was he fucking serious?
To Lexxy G: Are you fucking serious? I feel like an extra out of Harry Potter! All I need now is a fucking wand and I'm there.
I looked back to see Alex chuckling at his phone.
From Lexxy G: You've already got a wand, Jay ;)
I looked back again to see Alex with a smirk plastered over his features.
To Lexxy G: Maybe I should be more inventive with it then.
Just as I sent that, the line in front of me started to move forward, the sound of the head teacher's voice filling the hall through the shitty speakers the school had. I heard countless names called out before my feet were at the bottom of the stairs.
"Jack Bassam Barakat."
I sighed at the use of my full name and walked up the stairs, trying not to get my feet caught in the long robe. I accepted my rolled up results and walked off the stage at the opposite stage. I cheered for Rian as he accepted his and walked off stage and hugging me as he walked off towards his family. I stayed by the side of the stage so I could cheer Alex on and give him the our first hug as free people, well, if you count graduates as that.
"Alexander William Gaskarth."
I cheered so loud, earning a glare from the teachers who were stood on the stage, shaking the hands of all the students as they passed. Alex walked across the stage, his robe flailing out behind him, making him look like some angelic figure. Wow, that sounded gay, Jack.
"I love you so much, Lexxy."
I whispered in his ear as I enveloped him in a hug, knocking off both of our graduation caps in the process.
"I love you too, Jay. I love you so much."
I had no idea how long Alex and I had been standing there for, still in our embrace but we were pulled out of our little moment by a tap on the shoulder. Alex and I pulled away and stared at the brown-haired woman in front of us.
"Hey, Lexxy. Jack."
Lexxy? That's my name for him. She said Lexxy all sweetly but venom dripped from her tongue as she said my name. Then it dawned on me.
"What are you doing here, Mum?"

Told you I would update again, didn't I. Aww well, at least they're graduated now and I'm finally starting to feel like this story is going somewhere. Finally.
If anyone has any suggestions of what could happen in this story, I don't know, like anything you, personally, would like to happen, just message me. All suggestions are welcomed and I don't bite. Honest, I'm actually a nice person, aha.
