This Ones Different

*Jack POV*

“I-I’m sorry” I whispered to Alex as my eyes began to shut, I jumped up in my bed and started panting. My entire body was shaking and sweaty. “Jack? What’s wrong?” Alex sat up next to me and put his hand on my back. “I-I had a nightmare… W-We got in a fight an-and I ran away. I… I tried to kill myself?” Me? Trying to kill myself? That is nothing like me, why would I have a dream about it? Do you know hurt Alex would be?

Why would I have a dream that me and Alex fought when everything is going so perfect? I guess I’m scared of losing him. ?

Alex kissed my cheek “Its okay Jack, it’s over now.” I wiped my forehead and turned to Alex. “But it felt so real Lex.” Alex gabbed my hand rubbed his thumb over the back on my hand. Alex looked me in the eyes and softly kissed my lips.
“You see this Jack? This is real, I’m real, and there is nothing to worry about okay?”
I nodded; Alex smiled and kissed my cheek. “Now why don’t we forget everything what happen in the dream and start this day off right! I’ll make breakfast, what do you want?”
I climbed out of bed and put a baggy shirt on. “I don’t know? Waffles?” Alex climbed out of bed, walked over to me and put his arms around my neck. I smiled and grabbed his hips pulling him in to a soft slow kiss. “Good morning Lex”

Alex smiled he let go and walked into the bathroom then down the stares, I sat down on the bed staring at the open door.
That dream felt so real, I ran my fingers through my hair, I’m glad it’s over because that was a funky ass dream. I’m honestly glad that never happen.
“Jack! We’re out of eggs!”
“I moved them, two doors down on the left!”
“What?!”
Two doors down on the left?
“I meant second shelf on the left”
“Ah, Thank you!”

I stood up off the bed and walked around to Alex side. I pulled off all the pillows and folded the confuter back; I pulled up the sheets and made them all smooth again. I folded the confuter back over and placed the pillows at the foot of the bed. I picked up Alex and mines dirty clothes off the floor and put them in the hamper right outside the bathroom door. I grabbed my shirt on the top of the dresser and put it in the hamper.

I walked down the stairs and Alex was in the kitchen mixing the waffle batter.
I walked into the kitchen behind Alex, wrapping one arm around his waist “When will they be ready?”
“When they’re ready” Alex replied sarcastically “That’s not soon enough” I smiled and stuck my finger into the bowl of batter, “Hey!” Alex lifted the bowl up over his head. I laughed and licked my finger “You’ll have to pay for that Jack” I kissed Alex cheek.
“Okay I accept kisses” I laughed and got myself a glass of water then sitting down on the counter Alex was making the waffles on. “Alex you know you’re perfect right?”
“Jack you tell me everyday”
“There are not enough days in my life to tell you your perfect everyday; I have to tell you every hour!” Alex laughed
“You’re not getting a kiss if that’s what you’re going for.” I sighed
“Jack can you please clean up the living room from last night? Waffles should be ready by then.” I hopped off the counter and walked into the living room and picked up the blanket off the sofa.

“J-Jack, Please!” I turned around “Alex did you say something?” I folded the blanket and placed it on the arm of the couch “I didn’t say anything, why?” I looked around my felt and shook my head “Jack why?” Alex asked
“I though I heard something”

I picked up a bowl of popcorn and grabbed Alex’s shoes setting them at the front door and walking into the kitchen throwing the remaining popcorn away and placing the bowl in the sink. “I’m almost done with the living room” I sang to Alex “Better hurry up with the waffles!”
I grabbed a paper towel and some soapy water, I walked back into the living room and started wiping down the coffee table.

“Jack please be okay”
I jumped up and span around, who fucking said that “Alex stop it, I can tell its you by the sound of your voice” Alex walked out of the kitchen “Jack what you are talking about?”

“I-I… I thought you said something” Alex looked confused and worried
“Why don’t you come in the kitchen with me and we’ll clean up later, m’kay?”
I nodded and walked into the kitchen with Alex. “Grab some plates please?” I nodded and walked over to the cabinet opening it

“Jacky please wake up!”
I span around “Okay Alex that’s enough not quit it!” Alex looked at me “Jack what are you talking about?”
”Lex, stop with the weird voices. It’s freaking me out!”
“Jack I haven’t said anything!”
“The voice, you keep saying wake up like I’m dead or something, please stop it”
Alex stormed over, grabbed the sides of my face and kissed me
“Jack, I’m real. Those voices they aren’t okay? Just ignore them and soon enough they will go away.” I nodded and kissed Alex “I would fall to pieces if it wasn’t for you”


*Alex POV*

I couldn’t breathe “Please wake up” I’m really sick of crying, “Wake up, and Wake up”
I heard a knock on the door. I turned my head to see Katie standing in the door way
“Jack has some more visitors”
Rian and Zack walked into the room “Oh my God, what happen” Zack said
“Boys? Can I see you two outside for a second” Rian and Zack walked out of the room with Katie. I didn’t bother listening to wheat they were saying, I just sat there staring at Jack. I don’t even feel alive at the moment. The guys walked back into the room and Katie shut the door behind them.
“How did you know we were here?”
“I called them, they were on Jacks list of I.C.E” Katie walked over to Jacks Iv
“I.C.E?” Rian asked
“In Case of Emergency” Katie put something in his IV “This should wake him up quicker”
“W-When will he wake up” I barely spoke “What sweetie?”
‘When will he wake up? If he does.” I asked again a little louder.
“Hopefully tomorrow, he wont die Alex so don’t need to worry, he will be fine when he wakes up.” Katie came over and kissed my head and left room.
“Alex what the hell is going on?” Rian asked
“Didn’t she tell you?”
“Yeah but why? Jack came over to my house and said everything was perfect.”
“I-I… W-We… I can’t explain it”
“Well you need to find a way to explain it be-“
‘Rian!” Zack grabbed Rian’s shoulder “May I see you outside?”
Rain and Zack walked outside the door, I could still hear them.

“Rian, your making it sound like it’s his fault”
“I don’t understand. Jack came to my house jumping off the walls happy, why would he kill himself 7 days later?”
“We came here for Jack, we should also be there for Alex and if you want to figure it out we can just ask Jack when he wakes up”
“Not when Zack, If!”
“Rian I don’t think someone can slip into a coma from air loss and hypothermia, I don’t even think He has hypothermia because Alex was in the water same amount of time as Jack and that attractive lady said Alex is fine. I’m having a hard time understanding this because Jack should be awake”
“Air loss Zack, his heart almost stopped” “Why does are life have to be so dramatic?”

Zack and Rian walked back into the room.
“How you holding up buddy?” Zack put his hand on my back. I didn’t reply “Alex?”
I shook my head.
I’m not going to say anything; my words are what hurt Jack and I don’t want to hurt anyone else. If my words are powerful enough to makes someone want to die I should treat my words like Cyclops treats his eyes, hide them, cover them, because if I open my mouth I can hurt someone.
“I know it’s not the end Lex.” Zack took his hand off my back.
Right now I’ve got no where to begin. Tell my where life goes when it’s gone, tell me where hearts go when they go wrong? Nothing but emptiness inside, love leaves a black whole when it dies. If Jack wakes up, will he forgive me? How could I ever love again?
I just want to undo what I have done; I want to go back to the place I knew before. Before I lost it all. I’m just trying to breath just trying to figure things out because I built these walls to watch them crumbling down.

“Lex!” I snapped out of my thoughts and turned to Rian and Zack. “Did you hear anything we just said? I shook my head “Do you want something to eat?” I shook my head again, grabbing Jacks hand kissing it. “Lex he will be fine” I shook my head again
“I’m taking that as an ‘I’m not leaving his side’ right?” I nodded “If you need anything, text me” Zack said, I gave him a thumbs up and him & Rian left the room.

I guess that’s just the way the story goes.

I honestly dont know whats even going on at this point. writers block is slowly creeping up on me..... damn it guys i need some inspiration! someone comment something, i need ideas (I don't know, when you guys comment i put your comments in the story and it just makes mt have ideas in the chapter.) do you like the story so far?
