This Ones Different

*AlexPOV*

I swam up to take a breath, I looked around. I still couldn’t find Jack; I went back down and swam around. Arms reaching every witch way around me I am desperate to find Jack. I swam down deeper trying to open my eyes but there was so much gunk I couldn’t see my own hand in front of my god damn face! I swam as fast as I could around the spot I saw Jack fall. The current was quite strong and it was getting really hard to guess where Jack could be.
Jack could have floated somewhere else because of the current; he also could have gone straight down. I swam as far down as I could and came back up for more air and looked around again.
Jack was nowhere and this is making me sick to my stomach I swam around above the surface looking for Jack. These waters are freezing and the water kept splashing in my face! I could see as much above water as I can below water!
I kept swimming, I right under the bridge then back to where Jack fell.
I span around quickly searching for Jack!

There! I see him, I see Jack! He had a blue shirt on and I only saw his back. Jack was facedown in the water. He wasn’t moving Jack floating there like a piece of drift wood.

I swam over to Jack as fast as I could; when I got to him I put my arms under him flipping him over so he could breath. Jack’s eyes where shut and he still wasn’t moving. Oh no, am I too late? Has Jack already left?
I tapped Jacks face, Jack was out cold and was not responding to me calling his name and tapping his face. Trying so desperately to wake him up water plashing over us, I need to get him out of the water before we freeze to death.
I swam to the bank as fast as I could holding on to Jack keeping him face up and my arms around him so he wouldn’t go under again. We got to the bank; I stood up and laid Jack down my feet still in the water. I turned around and saw the water washing over Jacks legs. He wasn’t responding to the water splashing over him. I dragged Jack by his shirt so he was fully out of the water. Laying him on his back and looking at him, completely still.

“Jack?!” I pleaded. What do I do? Why won’t he wake up? Its like he just forgot how to swim, it didn’t even look like Jack tried to escape the waters. He just sank into it like he forgot how to swim, or breath. Breath!

I lowered my head and placed my lips on Jack’s, I sat back up and opened Jacks mouth I went back down and blew air into Jack’s lugs. I pulled away and pushed down on his chest three times… No response. Jack was really cold and his face had no color in it. He looked like a ghost from a horror movie. His hair sticking to his face and the sand covered the sides of his body. I put my ear on Jacks chest to see if I could hear him breath or maybe his heart beating, his entire body was dead silent.

I went down again, blowing into Jack and pushing on his chest again and again. Jack still just laid there not moving a mussel. I pressed my lips back on Jacks and blew into him. I pushed down on his chest. He still wasn’t moving. I began panicking even more. I pressed my lips back on Jacks and blew into him. I pushed down on his chest

“Come on Jack, please!” I pressed my lips back on Jacks and blew into him. I pushed down on his chest and Jack started coughing.
“Jack?!?” Jack continued to cough and was starting to cough up water. Jack eyes opened up and he gasped for air. MY SHITTY CPR WORKED!
“Jack!”
“L-Lex?” Jacks voice was so quite I could barley hear him, Jack reached his arms out and I got down close to him. He threw his arms around me and gripped me tight, he brought his lips to my ear.

“I-I’m so sorry” Jacks breath was cold and it felt like death just whispered goodbye in my ear. Jacks grip on me became very loose and I pulled away to look at him. Jack was passed out again. “Jack?” I called, he didn’t say a word.

I faintly heard sirens I looked up when I heard the noise then back down at Jack, laying there lifeless in my arms. I sat up on my knees and sat down on my legs pulling Jack onto my lap. I could feel small tears running down my cheek. ‘J-Jack” My face started to cringe up from trying to hold back the tears. “Jack please wake up.” More tears escaped my eye and fell onto Jack’s face. I wiped my tears off him cheek and brought his head closer to my chest rocking back and forth.

“Jacky please! Wake up Jack, Just please don’t go! Wake up!” I was sobbing really hard looking down at Jack his colorless face not changing. “Just wake up! Please let me see those brown eyes again!” I couldn’t control my tears anymore; all my emotions were flowing out of me. “Let me see that beautiful smile that makes me feel like home!”

It was like Jack wasn’t even here anymore. “Jack p-please!” I was starting to scream cry “Don’t GO-O-O!” My breaths were really heavy and my chest was collapsing in on itself. “I-I can’t do-o-o this on my OWN JA-A-ACK!!” The sirens were really loud but I could barely hear them over my screaming “Please wake up a-and, and tell me tha-at you lov-ove me because I-I-I I NEED YOU SO MU-U-CH!” I couldn’t breath anymore. “I CANT LIVE WITH OUT YOU! I-I-I CA-ANT LIVE WITH MY-MYSELF SO STA-AY WI-ITH ME AND DON’T GOOO!” I clenched Jack fisting at his shirt. “DON’T GOOO! I CAN’T DO THIS ON MY OWN! PLEASE JACK DON’T GO-O-O!!”

“Hey!” I heard someone shout above me and I looked up, Jack still in my arms pressed up against me. The man waved to someone on the bridge “They are down here”
I stood up pulling Jack up with me, his feet dragging in the sand. “PLEASE! P-PLEASE HELP!” Two guys and one girl came rushing down the bank, the guys were holding a red table looking thing and the white women was running towards me and Jack.

The girl came and took Jack from me placing him on the stretcher, the two guys picked him up and started running away. I went to follow them but the lady turned around and stopped me. “I’m sorry sir but you can’t go with him!” I looked down at the Lady “No! Please you have to let me go!” I tried pushing past the lady again, the men were halfway up the bank. “I’m sorry but you can’t go with him!” I took a step back “You don’t understand, I have to go with him!” I looked away from the lady and back at Jack, I reached my hands out “JACK!! Please you have to let me go with him!” The lady signed and nodded “okay, go” I thanked her and ran as fast as I could up the bank, I got to the bridge and they were putting Jack inside the ambulance.

I ran faster towards Jack, I got in the car and sat right next to him. The lady came in after me and the car pulled off. The people in the car where shouting things that didn’t make any sense. A man put his shoulder on me. “Is he allergic to anything?” I shook my head. I reached over and grabbed Jacks hand. “Please Jack; I’m begging you to be okay”

Sometime passed and the white lady sat next to me. “What’s your name?” I took my eyes off Jack and looked at her. “A-Alex” she smiled “Hi Alex, I’m Katie” I gave he a small forced smile. It is so hard to smile when the love of your life is lying lifeless in front of you and you can’t do anything about it. I feel so helpless.

“C-Could you please explain to me what happen?”
I took a deep breath and shook my head, I never want to remember this day. Ever!
“Please? It’s the only way we know what treatment is best for him.”
“D-Do I have to?” my voice was quite, it was so hard to even get those words out.
“It would help so much, it’s the only way to have him get better.”
I looked back at Jack, rubbing my thumb over the palm of his hand.

“H-He was on the edge on the bride starting at the water. I yelled his name and he t-turned his head around. T-Then he turned his whole body around and lost his footing…” My eyes started to burn “I-I ran towards him as fast as I could and I-I….” I lowered my head “I couldn’t catch him” a tear escaped my eye “I wasn’t fast enough” The lady patted my back “Sh Alex don’t worry, He is going to be okay” I put Jacks hand on my face.

“Please tell me that that’s the truth, I can’t loose him. Jack is my best friend and I love him. Please tell me he will be okay”
“We will try our best”

The car came to a stop and everyone rushed around grabbing Jack and taking him inside. We got into the hospital and I walked next to Jack quickly staying next to him the whole time. Some black lady came and stopped my while the other kept walking.

“No please I have to be with him”
“I’m sorry sir but if you go with them you will only get in the way”

I stopped trying to force myself into the same room as Jack. “Please take a seat.” I sighed and chose defeat. I walked away from the lady with the awesome small afro and took a seat in the corner. Jack Barakat you fucking better live through his or I am going to kill myself and slap you from beyond the grave.

Its short i know. i may edit it later and make this chapter longer. i cried imaging Jack lifeless in Alex's arms and Alex sreaming at Jack to wake up....because he cant do this on his own..show of hands how many people ACTUALLY 100% no bully shit became emotinaly unsable or ACTUALLY cried because of Jack and Alex.
