This Ones Different

*Jack POV*

“ALEX STOP FUCKING CALLINE ME! I’LL COME BACK WHEN I WANT!”

I haven’t been gone for more than 17 hours and Alex won’t stop calling me! I just want to turn my phone off! Alex has been calling me non stop and its making me really mad! He keeps texting me saying he ‘really does love me’ and things like that. He won’t leave me alone! It’s not like I’m leaving forever, I’ll be back in a couple days! My phone buzzed again. Let me guess, another text from Alex?

Lex
“Please come home, I miss you”

Will he just leave me alone already! I was lying down on this motel bed; I can’t stay in my car the whole time. I’m not an idiot, I brought my wallet. Alex needs to stop lying to me and just tell me the truth! If he says he loves me he has to prove it because his words mean nothing to me anymore! I wish I could go back to the week where me and Alex where together!

~Memory~

I walked into the house and immediately was greeted by a sweet smell. I took my jacket off and turned the corner to see Alex in the kitchen.
“Hi Jacky! How was work?”
I took a seat at the breakfast bar “Amazing! I love working at an Italian Ice place! Rian isn’t bossy what so ever!” I smiled sarcastically Alex laughed. I love it when Lex laughs he has the prettiest smile ever. That’s why I love making him laugh, also why I love coming home and having Alex be here. I get to see that beautiful smile of his.

“Well I got bored so I made some cupcakes!” Alex smiled, he is so happy all the time! I wish he could be happy like this forever, never be sad ever again! I leaned forward and looked over the counter. There were chocolate cupcakes sitting on a cooling rack. I got up and walked around, walking up behind Alex warping my arms around his waist and putting my head on his shoulder.
“You’re the best you know that?” Alex leaned his head back, resting it on my shoulder.
“I know.” He said very proud of himself. I smiled and kissed Alex neck. I let go of him and focused my attention on the cupcakes.
“When will they be ready?” Alex walked over to the fridge “First they have to cool off so the icing wont melt off, I took them out a little while ago so give them a little bit.”
Alex came back with a container of icing. “Wanna ice them together?” I nodded, Alex smiled.
“Well go change out of your uniform and I’ll prepare the icing, they should be cooled off by then.” I nodded and smiled “Okay” I gave Alex a quick peck on the lips and walked up stairs to change. I got out of my uniform, folded it and put it nicely in my dresser drawer. I put on some pajama pants and an Alkaline Trio shirt and walked back down stairs.
The kitchen looked like Alex set up a cupcake game show! Alex was putting the cupcakes on a tray. “Alex what do we need all this for? It looks like a cupcake game show in here!” Alex laughed “This is cupcake wars!” Alex laughed at himself, what a loser.

I picked up a plastic bag with a pointy silver tip at the end of it. “What is this for?

“It’s for icing the cupcakes” I put the plastic bag down and picked up another individual silver sharp pointy thing. “All you need is a spoon and maybe a spatula for icing” Alex looked away from the tray of cupcakes and at me. “Not this thingy” I pointed at the silver tip thing. Alex smiled and walked over to me taking the silver tip out of my hand and putting it on the counter next to the rest of them.

“When I said icing I meant decorating it too you dingus” Alex grabbed my hand and led me to the tray of cupcakes. “Lex I don’t know what any of this stuff is” Alex picked up the plastic bag, this one didn’t have a silver tip. Alex opened the drawer and took out a pair of scissors. Cutting the tip of the plastic bag and putting a sliver tip in it.

“Okay so you put this in your hand and open it like this” Alex grabbed the middle of the bag with the pointed part facing down and opened up the hole that was on the other side. “Then you fill it with the icing” Alex got a big scoop of icing and filled the bag, twisting it shut when he was done. “Alex none of this makes sense, how are suppose to ice the cupcakes if the icing is in a bag?” Alex laughed and grabbed a cupcake. “Just watch me m’kay?” I nodded.

Alex leaned down and squeezed on the bag, the icing came out and Alex made a swirl of icing on top of the cupcake. “Whoa Lex, where did you learn to do that?” Alex put the bag down and decorated his cup cake. “My mom taught me. She really liked baking and I really liked eating” I laughed “Can you teach me?” Alex nodded and handed me the bag.

“Okay so place the tip over the edge of the cupcake, that’s where you are going to start” I put the silver tip over the edge of the cupcake, Alex put his arm around me and placed his hands over mine. “Now lightly squeeze the bag and do an inward swirl, don’t stop squeezing and not squeeze too hard.” I lightly squeezed the bag and made a swirl, Alex slowly guiding my hands showing me what to do.

When I frosted the cupcake Alex let go and hugged me. “Awesome, it turned out really good!” I smiled, Alex is proud of me yay! “Thank you Lexy” Alex kissed my cheek and picked up the bag again. “Now come on, we both have one more cupcake to frost.” Alex and I frosted our cupcakes together. I put a ‘J’ on mine and Alex put an ‘A’ on his.
We put our cupcakes on a plate and sat down at the table. I took a bite out of my swirly cupcake and it was phenomenal! “Whoa Lex these cupcakes are amazing!” He swallowed a piece of his cupcake.

“Who doesn’t like chocolate cupcakes with cream cheese frosting?” I took another big bite of my cupcake. “HAHA Jack slow down or your going to choke!” I smiled with food still in my mouth, Alex turned away laughing. “Ew finish chewing!” I finished chewing and smiled back at Alex. “Better?” Alex nodded and smiled at me “Much better, now I can see the amazing smile of yours” I blushed “You have a great smile you, that’s why I try to make you laugh all the time.”
Alex picked up his cupcake with an ‘A’ on it and put it in my face. I smiled and picked up my ‘J’ cupcake and put it in front of his face. Alex smiled and took a bite out of it. I understood what he was trying to do and took a bite out of his. Alex was trying to be cute, and it was working.
I smiled at Alex “Lovely” Alex smiled and shoved the rest of the cupcake in my face. I was surprised and Alex stared laughing. I was blowing my nose. “You TURD! You got it in my nose!” Alex laughed even harder throwing his head back. “You think this is funny?” Alex nodded holding his stomach laughing. “Well come here then” I stood up and walked over to Alex, he got out of his chair and tried to run away but I got him in time. I wrapped my arms around his waist so he wouldn’t get away and I kissed him on his cheek, getting the cupcake on him too.

“Ya dingus you got in on me now.” Alex turned and looked me in the eye, my arms still around him. I shrugged my shoulder “So?” Alex lifted his hands up and cupped my face. “Because that was my cupcake, and now it’s gone” I smiled “there is still some on my face if you want it?” Alex giggled and licked the cupcake off my lips. “That’s not the only thing on your face that I want”
Alex smirked, and pulled me towards him kissing me softly on the lips. I pulled him closer to me and kissed back. Alex let go of my cheek and ran his fingers through my hair, I smiled into the kiss. Alex gave me one last peck and pulled away. “It feels weird when you kiss and you have cupcake on your face” I laughed and let go of Lex. “You’re amazing” Man I love him so much. Alex smiled “And you’re perfect”
~Reality~

I felt my eyes burning and my cheeks wet. I wiped my eyes with the sleeve of my jacket, it was perfect then. I wish it would just stay like that and I could be happy baking with Lex and kissing him. I just want to go back home, I miss him so much.

(Guys i wont kill Jack because i can't. I wont be the death of Jack. Alex would be the death of him, If jack doesnt listen to Alex soon, bad stuff could happen)
